He Is Mine!!
‘Why would she do that, what do they think they are, they think they can challenge me, ME!!!! never in millions of lives.’ He was loud in his mind. The way Mr. Adam had stared at his house didn’t go unnoticed by him. Who is he? He was getting frustrated with each passing second.
Is he here because Hannah told him something? Seeing that man in the hospital garden made Julian mad already. He wasn’t liking the vibe he was getting from him. He has warned Hannah already but she is getting in his way again. Not even Ian can get himself away so what can Hannah do? and that stupid man who thinks he is someone who can be a danger, no way!"
He was in love with that beautiful boy, and won’t let him get away that easily. He laughed aloud, his chest rumbled when a roar of laughter left his mouth. The black mansion in the dark shuddered under its weight, multiple black figures were floating above him ready to obey whatever he needs. He laughed and laughed until everything went silent.
The wind outside was thrashing trees harshly and the silence inside the mansion was terrifying. The sky was covered with a blanket of dark clouds and a small pitter-patter of rain started hitting softly on his window. Angry at Hannah’s attempt, he was planning on giving her a lesson. A groan somewhere near diverted his attention. He looked outside to find a man struggling with his car. A wicked smile crept over his handsome features, the man was already dead in Julian's eyes.
……
“ah shit….why in this bloody weather man” the man stood bent over the car trying to figure out the problem, using his cell phone as a flashlight, he was cursing non-stop
“fucking promises……never in my life I am getting in this promise shit.” He held the light above his head to try to get a clear view of whatever he was fixing but got nothing but a dead engine in sight. He kicked the tire and yelped with pain when his foot got hit. Cursing, he stood soaking in the rain.
“she will kill me; I can already imagine her with a pan,” he said again, particularly to no one.
“she won’t if you can reach on time,” a voice said, making the man turn on his heels to face a charming, handsome man smirking at him from distance.
“huh,” he said not getting the comment
“well….if you can fix your car right now you can go home fast” Julian said with a glint of mischief in his tone. A sudden urge to get away from Julian was gnawing at the man. Why? He didn’t get that.
“and who would help me at this hour …….in ……..in this weather?” the man asked looking around him. Maybe he didn’t notice a garage here somewhere or in another case, the man he was facing was going to help.
“a man in that cute blue house is going to help you if you ring the bell now,” Julian said leaning on the car door. The man turned to look at the house and turned back to look at Julian. He was skeptical about the way that man was behaving. Who would go at this hour of the night to any family, which might be sleeping for sure, to disturb their problem?
“Why would I disturb someone, they might be resting for the night, and who would help me there,” he asked still confused about the man not helping himself but suggesting that he should ask someone else.
“hmmm….good question……well if you don’t want to get a pan hit on your small little head then maybe you would consider” Julian with a little rude tone. The man noticed but didn’t want to get into a fight with a bulky man like him. It is nighttime anyway, no one to save him if that man tried anything. He huffed, trying to look for some other option he could use.
“the owner of that house is a mechanical engineer and works in a car showroom, you could have his advice if not help,” Julian said while leaving the man alone with his misery. He was now totally confused and tired of everything. A long day at work, his bitch of a boss, the promise to reach home before his wife’s parents, and the car that stopped in the middle of a place he was not sure where to find help from, did the last stroke to his mind. He wanted a bed and a good night's sleep. Killing his pride and clenching his heart he walked the short distance to the house. He is going to interrupt someone's sleep to get his own.
…………
The family was resting in their respective rooms. Mr. Williams was fast asleep but Hannah wasn’t. she was wide awake, was restless, she was awake due to a headache she had. Maybe a migraine is going to hit her soon for the amount of thinking she has been doing.
Sharp pain in her head made her wince at that. She stood from the bed slowly reached the drawer of her side table and took out a bottle of her medicine. She usually had that when she had a migraine. Popping two tablets with a glass of water she sat down on her bed. Thoughts about Julian and Mr. Adam had her mind occupied, she wasn’t going to fight against a don, a drug dealer, a warrior, or anything of that sort she was against a supernatural being that was after her one and only child. A groan left her lips and it made Mr. Williams stir.
“Hannah? What’s wrong darling, are you okay?” he asked while rubbing his eyes, he had so much sleep in them that Hannah felt guilty, she blamed herself that her family was suffering. It was after two weeks Mr. Williams had a chance to sleep peacefully.
“It’s nothing Darcy, just a little headache, I will be back in a minute yeah? Go to sleep please” she said politely while stroking his hair. Mr. Williams wanted to protest but his heavy eyes and that loving stroke made him relax and again he went into slumber. She kissed him on his forehead and left the room to brew some coffee for herself. A strong cup of coffee can help.
‘oh lord, the night is so cold’ she muttered while entering her kitchen. She made herself a cup and went to sit in the living room, picking her favorite book she settled on the sofa. With a book in her hand and coffee on the table, she was comfortable now until a ring of a bell on the door startled her.
………
The man rang the bell shivering on that cold night. He was not sure if could get help but he tried his luck by pressing the bell again. He was certain to get hit. If not with a pan for being late then from anything else from the owner of the house.
……
Hannah wanted Mr. Williams to open the door but the bell was ringing again and again. She had a migraine and she was getting more triggered by the irritating bell. After reaching the door she looked out the peephole. A man shivering with cold was standing outside and cursing at something. She opened the door with the safety chain intact. The man snapped his head in her direction and smiled nervously.
“Ummm…i..I am so sorry to disturb you madam but my car broke down and I have to hurry home to my wife. Someone told me to get help from this house. If you can please help me……i...I would be so thankful” he stopped his ranting and found that beautiful woman looking at him curiously. She smiled at him.
“I will call my husband, don’t worry,” she said and the man sighed relieved. She turned around to go inside but stopped abruptly at the words that the man had just delivered. “someone” she said and her eyes widened. She turned back to the door but the man was gone. She hurriedly went outside to look for him but got shook when she saw the man standing across the street in front of Julian’s house. She stopped and looked around, but nothing.
A shiver went through her body when she heard her name near her ear. She turned here and there but nothing was in sight that could call her. Her knees went weak when she saw that man was crying helplessly standing in his position. His face was drenched in sweat, tears running down his face. She wanted to comfort him, with the way he was crying. She took a step forward, stepping into her porch when she saw Julian emerging from behind that man.
A wicked grin was spread across his charming face. He slowly walked and stood beside the man. He snickered loudly and Hannah got her breath hitched. She knew what he could do, she has seen it but she couldn’t do anything but wait.
“I told you didn’t I,” he asked in his raspy voice.
“he is mine, no one can take him away, not even you,” he said again but the voice was nearer. Her mind was stuck on the crying man. His wails were too loud to be ignored She could feel her body freeze when she realized what was happening. The body of that man was stretching awkwardly. He was expanding as if being pulled from his head and from his middle to the side. His eye sockets were being pulled upwards and his waist was being pulled to his left. The man was crying too much. She felt her heart clench at the sight. A tear dropped on her pink cheek when she saw the blood coming out.
His eyes were gone and his half of his side was missing but the man was alive. Blood spurted out when one of his organs cracked open and series followed with each limb until the man was stretched to death. He was gone. His misery ended, he would no longer get hit by the pan for being late. His body remnants and blood were on the road making their way to the nearby sewer opening with the harsh rain.
She wasn’t feeling herself, her breath was caught in her throat. A man died in front of her but, not naturally or accidentally but in a most brutal way. She could still see Julian standing there holding his laughter at the very prideful work he has done.
Suddenly he was standing in front of her, with his own dark hollow eyes and wide mouth. Her mind was getting weak as passing second, her ears were ringing. Witnessing one man at two different places at the same time.
The Julian standing across the road was laughing like a mad man and the other was shrieking in her face. His wide dark mouth was open and a high-pitched scream was coming out of him. Her knees buckled and she fell to the ground. He circled her elegantly and crouched down to her level.
Hannah’s hair was creating a curtain between Julian and her face. He rasped again at which she whimpered.
“I told you, Hannah, you don’t listen,” he said and stood up
“that man you brought home can’t do shit, don’t trust him. He doesn’t know what I am” he chuckled at their stupidity of getting him away from Ian.
“don’t be stupid Hannah” he again bent towards her shaking from “you won’t get the desired result, he is nothing in front of me, I will kill him within a wink of the moment” saying that the laughter and the scream came to an end. After a few seconds, she raised her head remembering the amulet she was given. She ran inside her house with her jelly-like legs and rushed to her room. Pulling out the bag from under her pillow she left the room as quietly as she could with her ragged breathing. Just after leaving the room, she heard a little movement above. “Ian” she whispered and climbed the stairs towards her son’s bedroom.
Opening the door, a chill ran down her spine. There on the bed, Ian was sleeping peacefully in his shortest shorts and a full-sleeved white cotton shirt. His milky thick thighs were on display and his shirt was slid aside showing his beautiful collarbone. Julian was sitting at the head of the bed stroking his long evil fingers through Ian’s soft wavy blonds. He smiled at Hannah and moved his fingers to caress Ian’s baby face and moved his fingers to his neck before gripping his neck a little.
Her heart jumped to her throat looking at the silent threat. Ian moved a little and turned towards Julian’s figure. He draped his hand carelessly along Julian’s waist making Hannah scared and Julian happy. He smiled again and shrugged his shoulder at Hannah.
“see? That man is fooling you, Hannah, he is destined to me” Julian said and placed his arm around his exposed shoulder of Ian, he stroked sensually at his skin and licked his lips after. Hannah couldn’t help but cry seeing her son in those disgusting hands.
She held the amulet tightly and raised her hand. The smile on Julian’s face went away in a swish. He carefully stood up glaring at her. She was crying non-stop and her raised hand was trembling with fear. Julian glared at the amulet with hatred and looked at Hannah, he smiled and took a step forward when a strong stroke made him stumble and he took several steps back.
“Leave my son alone” she whispered tiredly, the migraine, the book, the coffee, nothing mattered now.
“please” she begged still raising her hand. Julian looked at her and his eyes went dark. She was prepared for the worst.
“no one can take him away from me, not even Ian himself!!. I have warned you enough Hannah, you will be responsible for the consequences of what you have planned. Nothing that comes in my way can stop me. He is mine and mine alone” he said in a cold voice
“Please, leave him alone” she begged, her body slumped to the floor.
“NO!!!!!!!!!!!!” he screamed at her but she was the only one listening since Ian didn’t move a little at that. that sound made her heart jump, and her lips sealed in an instant. The voice rang through her body, and she shivered at the sight of the anger rising in Julian's eyes. she couldn't make any noise and cried clasping her other hand over her mouth. if any single noise made Ian awake, she wasn't ready to answer his questions. she cried and begged through her eyes to let her son go.
“I will deal with you later but first I have to pay my sincere greetings to that old shit,” he said before vanishing through the window. Several minutes passed and Hannah was still on the floor. When she felt everything was normal she stood up with great effort and made her way to her son. After securing the blanket over his exposed body she left her weight next to him. She had enough of the night, she wants to sleep for the rest of the night and so she did. She held the amulet near her heart and closed her eyes. Hoping that the night can finish soon.
