“Look at you guys all scruffy looking, I bet you all finished the Labyrinth and took a beating with that Minotaur.” Lucius, a wolf best man from a group called the Heir of Wolves, said seeing them.

“Ha Ha yeah he chased us down.” Lua said with a smile. “We beat him in the end.” He added. “You look quiet relaxed Lucius, didn’t see you when we left you just got back as well?” He asked, being friendly.

“Yup, all made it back safe and sound thanks to the pretty lady with you who made that excellent potion, Really saved Ruffus’ life.” He said motioning to the large bear of a wolf beast man sitting next to him.

“I’m glad it helped!” Felicia said, turning slightly red at being praised by someone besides the three of them. “I wasn’t sure it would work well, I mean the Healing part was solid but did the deterrent part work well too?” She asked. She’d made the potion so it would heal quite a bit then over a short time heal more but often potion drinking attracted monsters, one of the herbs they needed for it did it, so she’d mixed it with something to counteract the herb smell.

“It did, or they didn’t seem to notice.” He told her with his deep grumbly voice. 

“I’ll let mother know but we’ll have to do quite a few more trials before we put it on the market. Thank you Ruffus for being a test subject!” She told him. 

“Thank you for the potions, we’ll gladly be test subjects for you any day.” Lucius told her.

“I just hope that this wasn’t a last resort.” Lidia said, eying him.

“Oh no we had 3 other potions in our bag, we just recalled that we had them to test.” Katy said she was the group’s scout and a cat beast woman. She was the only one in the group of five not a wolf.

“Good, we’re going to check in and turn in some quests.” Lua said feeling relieved, he liked the group.

They looked at the desk and noticed that Henri, Oliver, Evan, and Marcus were now looking at them, Marissa turned to look at them as well and scoffed at them as they approached Silivia, one of the friendly receptionists. “You look like you are slumming it in that beat up armor.” She said snidely.

“We’re fine with it, we don’t need to show off nor do we need a neon sign over our heads saying ‘Rob me I’m a nobel’.” Lidia told her. 

“Moreover, we also understand our fellow adventurers and pay for our equipment ourselves. No need to ask our parents or rich friends to buy something that’s just overpriced and shiny trash.” Ivan said, looking at her staff and robes. It was something someone at the leave of Barron could not afford. 

“It was a gift, one worthy for the Light Magic user.” Henri said defensively. 

Lua rolled his eyes and started to pull things out of his item box via a small satchel that looked like a small magic bag. “I’m sure it suits her then.” He said politely. “Silvia we got what you asked for and we completed our quest we took earlier, it took me a while to get this.” He told her passing over an Earth magic stone the size of his little finger. “It was what you needed right?” He asked, ignoring the group.

“Finally! That request has been up there forever. Most people who can get it are Earth magic users and they usually use them up.” She said happily, taking the stone. “And you have two users in your party.”

“I bribed him with another stone and I already have a better one.” He said motioning to the hilt of his sword, there in the bottom was a bright green stone twice the size.

“I see, well I thank you both for the sacrifice still.” She said happily. She looked over the other items they had brought in and aparsed them and then stamped their quests as complete. “Lend me your cards and I’ll update them all.” She said, holding her hand out. They all gave her their cards all that were silver now as they were D ranked, Marissa looked at her card that was bronze and pouted, most of their cards were bronze Roy and Henri’s were the only ones that were silver because they were a bit more advanced. As a large party they were E rank with most of them being F ranked as they were new.

“Don’t worry we’ll be higher ranked than them much quicker.” Evan told her as he petted her head affectionately. Felicia glared at her brother and Lidia gripped her staff tightly in anger.

“You really think so?” She said in a sickened cheery voice.

“You have me and Roy here, we’re D ranked and we can protect you.” Henri told her.

Lua felt nauseous hearing him like that. He’d once promised to protect him and now it was like he was nothing, his good mood soured quickly. 

“You should still take caution like they do.” Maria, the receptionist who had been helping them said. “Don’t overdo it just because two of your party are high ranked, and you’re all Alphas.” She commented.

“I’m an Omega like him.” Marissa said defensively. 

Maria rolled her eyes and that made Lua suspicious, he knew she was supposed to be an Omega but if she was an Alpha that meant something strange was going on. “Either way, my point is you have to be careful and even if the quest is low level you should still be cautious.”

“You never know when you might encounter a rare spawn, they might look innocent but they are more dangerous. Lua knows this, last time you went into the Labyrinth wasn’t the Minotour faster than usual?” Silvia asked, as she returned and reminded Lua of the horrid run he had. She handed back their cards and had already divided up the rewards and put the money onto their cards like usual for them. If it hadn’t been for his gravity magic he was sure he’d have not defeated it. The Minotaurs spawned when you walked in one per group and they stalked you as soon as you entered the Labyrinth and could only be fought in the last chamber at the end. Before that they had a magic that nulled physical attack and nulled magic but not status effects like slow or entrapments like ensnare or web to affect them. Lua had to run nearly half of the giant maze-like structure and he vowed never to do that again even though that was what gave him his earth stone.

“Please don’t remind me of that nightmare.” He told her honestly. Henri looked at him with worry, he’d never heard of him having run the Labyrinth.

“Sorry, I know today was hard for you to do but you had your friends with you this time did that help?” She asked, patting his hand. Henri fought an urge to growl at her for darling to touch him like that.

“Yeah, we’re going to the bath house you suggested before going back for the night.” Lua told her.

“Yeah we’re a bit dusty from that sand attack.” Ivan added as he knocked a bit of sand from his hair.

Marcus and Henri both suddenly disliked that they were going to a public bathhouse, even though they’d be in separate baths neither of them would be wearing a collar and accidents that could happen had a higher chance of happening in small spaces. “Why not just go back to the dorms?” They both asked.

“‘Cause the bathhouse is right down the road and we don’t want to track sand all over the school like heathens.” Ivan explained. “Or get our uniforms dirty.”

“And the Bathhouses are perfectly safe, they have beta guards to make sure nothing happens.” Lua added. “Anyway, have a good night.” He said politely with a bow as he spun on his heels not wanting to talk any more and headed for the door. The other’s did the same before they walked out.

Henri watched as they walked out he’d never seen Lua dressed like he was, the Leather armor was almost like a corset on him showing off his almost hourglass like body with his narrow waist and wide hips. The best view was when he walked away though, he could see that perfect ass and those slightly tight pants, he wondered if he could bounce a coin off it. He never had thought of himself as an ass man until now, but Lua did have that great ass appeal. He wondered if Marcus was the same though Ivan wore a robe he’d taken it off and was wearing a white shirt and simple pants underneath it and side eyeing him he could tell his eyes had locked on the same thing on Ivan as he did Lua. As soon as they walked out they looked at Marissa and sighed, she was beautiful and she had a nice pair of tits but her ass… it was hard to tell, they were both sure it was probably as flat as a pancake.

“Gods why couldn’t they just stick with that bull shit in school, now I’m going to have to see that when we go out?” Lidia said, annoyed.

“We can avoid them, after all our group is D ranked, though I was thinking of inviting Irena and Christina to join us. They looked like they could use some cheer and we could use a healer like Tina and Fire magic is something we could use too.” Lua said, as they walked casually to the bath house.

“True, I’m not always going to be with you, but this was fun.” Felicia added. “Plus they look like they’ll be having the same issue as us.”

“The thing is even the teachers are taking her side so our hands are tied. All we can do is file complaints.” Lidia added. “Maybe we should all just break our engagement off and find someone new.”

“Easier said than done.” Ivan said softly. Lua nodded in agreement. “I still love him even if he’s a trashy asshole right now. She can’t marry all of them can she?”

“I don’t know, but that’s kinda weird, I mean I get it when an alpha has a harem, they can knock up their mates, but an Omega having a harem? What’s the point unless you want a lot of kids with different people.” Lidia commented she looked at the two Omegas who were both making the same sour face.

“Eww, I want my one mate and I want to give him all of his children.” Lua said honestly. You might think it odd, but we’re dedicated, while I might be able to tolerate another mate for my mate I still want to be their only. It’s just my instincts.” He said with a shrug.

“So if Henri refuses to break up with you and marries Marissa to be the Empress and you second to be his first Queen.” Felicia asked hypothetically.

“I’d not marry him, I’d leave, or run off, or last resort off myself cause absolutely not, and it’s not because I was the First Queen and not Empress. It’s because I want his heart and his heart alone.” He told her truthfully. “And if I was made Empress, but he still took her as his first Queen I’d take it as an insult of either I’m not good enough or I’m just being used so I’d divorce him and leave.” He added as they reached the bath house. 

“I see, well I’d support you whatever way I could.” Lidia told him.

“Me too, cause I feel the same way, we all support each other.” Ivan said as they walked up and showed their ID’s to the desk lady. “Let’s enjoy a bath and then meet here in an hour and go out to dinner.” He suggested to the group.

“Alright, that gives me time to relax in a well needed bath, and at least if they try to follow us in we only have to look at Lady Lilia.” Felicia said having seen the group nearly stalking them.

“Yup, sorry about that, we get to be alone together.” Lua chuckled as he took Ivan’s hand.

“You are so not my type, first of all you are an Omega, and second of all you’re shorter than me.” Ivan joked as they walked into the bathhouse made for male Omega’s.

“Who said I don’t want you to top me?” Lua joked.

“Cause I’m just as much a bottom bitch as you are.” Ivan pointed out as they reached the changing room. They both laughed and then stripped before washing up and then taking a nice long soak in the hot water with a few other male Omega’s. 

After they went out to dinner without incident and then made their way back to the dorms. Tomorrow they made plans to study as finals were rapidly approaching. This also meant that the graduation/ Year end ball was rapidly approaching. This also meant that they needed to think about dates, though they should be going with their Feiance’s None had mentioned it, and the big hurdle would be what they would wear. They toyed with the idea of going wearing neutral colors Lua suggested shades of pink or purple. Ivan liked the Idea of purple better, his mother had spent many years trying to dress him in frilly pink and he loathed it. Now with the two younger girls Irene and Christina the group of 6 stood as a new group quietly protesting their treatment, they all agreed that none of them would ever be alone. This way if Marissa tried to blame something on them she was easily proven wrong, because they had an alibi. Lua had the hardest time as most of his classes were advanced and most of the students were taking Marissa’s side.
