Emil
“Shit...” Andy stands up from the couch looking at his phone then quickly looking at me in the kitchen. I give him my full attention, “there's an emergency at the pack house and Beta Tucker wants me to help with it for experience.” I frown and look down at the carrot I was chopping. I was planning on making one of the dishes Andy’s mothers told me to make him, but this news meant that I would have to wait since I wanted him to be here while I cooked. I wanted him to see how capable I am.
My frown didn’t go unnoticed because Andy had made his way over to kiss my cheek and hold my face with one of his hands. “I’ll be back as soon as I can.” He pulled away and I nearly whined wanting him to stay a little longer but what didn’t help was when he turned back with a cheeky smile and said, “oh and if someone comes by the house and doesn’t know who you are just tell them we’re mates.” He then winked and was out the door before I even got the chance to blush. This was the first time Andy had flirted with me. I let out a distressed sigh. If he continues, he might kill me.
I finished chopping the rest of the carrot and as I was putting it in the fridge the inferred happened. There was a knock on the door. Taking what Andy said as permission to answer the door, I did so. I was greeted to the sight of a smiling pink haired woman about three inches taller than me, but the pink hair wasn’t what threw me off it was her clothing. She had looked to have something that barely acted as a bra and to cover that was a fish net shirt. Not to mention her extremely short jean shorts. After being stunned by her appearance I realized she was stunned at mine.
I looked down at myself, suddenly self-conscious. Was I wearing something that offended her? I was only wearing some clothes Andy got me. Nothing of his.
“Where’s Andy?” Her overly cheerful voice startled me, and I looked up at her as she leaned forward for her answer.
“Um a-alpha Andy is not home right now.” I take a step back into the house to prepare to close the door.
Her face turns to a pout, and she walks right past me into the house taking a seat on the couch, “I’ll just wait for him to return then!” she says as I hesitate to close the door.
“I’m not sure if An-”
“Silly me and Andy are very close friends if you catch my drift.” My heart sinks as she giggles at her joke? I hope that was a joke. “That reminds me who are you? I’m Sadie.”
I think back to what Andy said before he left and what Sadie had just told me and suddenly, I wasn’t so nervous. “I’m his mate Emil.” I force down the smile that came with the happy feeling saying that gave me and watched her gape at me.
“I thought that was a rumor!” Her face returned to a pout, “that means he’s off the market then what a shame.” I didn’t understand how that would be a bad thing, but her smile returned, “well I guess that means that I can just have more friends.”
Her eyes shot over to me, “But you.” she stands up and creeps over to me, “you’re very lucky.” she nods her head in finality.
She once again looks me up and down making me feel self-conscious, “No this just won't do.” she shook her head then smiled nodding at her unspoken idea, “I’ve got it!” She shouted grabbing me by my shoulders excitedly, “I’m going to give you a makeover, so you look like a proper omega!”
“A proper omega? What did she mean by that?”
