Many days into their voyage, Lenard had left Moonair in a makeshift shelter while he attended to “unexpected business matters” in Inkopolis. Only about a day had passed since Lenard had left before a traveler wandered near the shelter. Moonair was afraid at first, but eventually, his fear turned into intrigue. Moonair came up from behind and placed his hand on the stranger's shoulder in an attempt to greet them.

Startled, the traveler instantly slashed at Moonair; the two now entangled in a misunderstanding. After a while, Moonair managed to show the traveler that he wasn't a threat and resolved the conflict. After some back and forth bickering, Moonair learned that the traveler's name was Simon and invited him into the shelter.

Inside, Simon and Moonair collected themselves and conversed. They asked each other many questions and gave each other many answers. By the end of the day, Simon and Moonair were surprised at how much they related to each other's experiences. They bonded quite well and became friends. Soon enough, Lenard returned and immediatley accepted Simon along their journey. Finally, they all set course toward Inkopolis.
