Read Splatoon 2 Fishyfest :: Too Grisly to Bare

Dark clouds loomed above as everyone hastily gathered around the spawn pad. They watched as Simon opened the tube, freeing the squid ghost. It dove into the machinery, then, Detective S. rose from the ink, stumbling before being caught by Simon. After some brief rest, Det. S. was met by Yaki and Luke as they gradually explained everything. Almost immediately after, Det. S. stood and confronted Lenard, who was tied up and sat in a nearby corner. After rigorous questioning, Det. S. returned with important information.

She explained that the one who attacked Simon & Moonair is known as “Sam” and that Sam would stop at nothing to splat everyone involved. The only way to survive: flee to a faraway place called “The Splatlands”. The group fell silent before discussion arose. After some back and forth arguing, they reluctantly agreed with Det. S. and swiftly set off to find a way out of the city. The group eventually bought some newfangled, flying spawn devices and promptly soared out of Inkopolis. Leaving everything behind, they barreled towards The City of Chaos.
