Sara explained everything she knew about the organization hunting the group down. She told of Simon, Sam, and herself being siblings, all a part of a strange Inkling-Salmonid hybrid experiment. She ended off by saying that more hunters were bound to come, so it would be best to pack up their camp and begin the final stretch toward Splatsville. Suddenly, enemy ink rained from above, sending everyone to scramble for shelter. Sam had found them.

Simon and Moonair quickly grabbed their weapons and charged at Sam. The other cephalopods soon followed as the battle began. Back and forth chaotic attacks ensued. Tako, Yaki, and Sara became injured and fell back as Simon and Moonair continued the assault. Sam was weakened, and vulnerable. Simon and Moonair then positioned themselves for the final blow. Simon aimed to kill, while Moonair aimed to restrain. The two then charged at Sam…

As the ink cleared, it revealed Moonair to be the victor! Moonair removed Sam's mask, revealing his strange, Salmonid-like face. After examining the mask, Moonair realized that it was a mind control device. Suddenly, Simon dashed toward Sam with lethal intent. Moonair quickly stopped him and tried to explain. Simon wasn’t impressed by Moonair's sudden forgiveness and a heated argument ensued. Ultimately, Simon felt betrayed by Moonair’s compassion. He then set off to Splatsville with Yaki, Sara, and Lenard, leaving Moonair and his group in the dust.

Moonair, Luke, and Tako untied Sam and calmed him down. He was confused, but decided to stay with the strange people that freed him. Later, Moonair’s group ventured toward Splatsville in pursuit of Simon. They arrived in the City of Chaos, amazed by its fresh culture and chaotic energy. After some brief exploration, Moonair decided to try and look for Simon. He and his group searched for the whole day, but Simon, Sara, Yaki, and Lenard were nowhere to be found…

Fishyfest: The group known as Fishyfest took Inkopolis by storm after the Splatocolypse. Since then, their popularity fizzled out as soon as it began. Simon and Moonair, the hosts of the show, have seemingly separated and relocated to Splatsville. Moonair bought an apartment with the funds earned from Fishyfest and now lives with some roommates. We’ve tried to ask him for an interview, but he declined… Simon’s whereabouts are currently unknown. Talk about 15 minutes of fame!
