Ok let's carry on with the story, shall we 😏

Alex POV:

After the whole situation in the halls on Monday, I and Devin decided to exchange Numbers, and have been talking since it's currently Wednesday, and finally, we've decided to finally meet up for the date, I decided to take her to a dinner not too far from the school that I always had gone with Dre. We set the date-time for 7 pm. I looked over at my phone and saw that it was now 4:50 pm now so I decided to get ready earlier so I'll have an extra 30 minutes to figure out what my outfits are going to be. 

I got out of the shower and put on my essentials, did my hair, and finished off with a couple of spritzes of my Tom Ford cologne.

As I finished getting ready I quickly checked the time and I saw that it was 6:25 pm. I let an oh shit murmur under my breath as I hurry up and grab my phone, my watch, and my wallet and ran towards the stairs. Before I left the house I Shouted a "Bye mom" set the alarm and rang for the gate to open before leaving. I got to Devin's house within 20 mins with the benefits of me speeding a bit. I approached her house, and spotted her porch lights were on, I honked my horn and shot Devin a text that I'm here, a minute later the front door opened, and  Devin was making her way out. She looked good.

She was dressed in light blue ripped skinny jeans, a burgundy off-the-shoulder crop top, with a vee cut showing off her cleavage, a white slip-on Vans, and her hair was nicely curled to perfection. I guess she realized I was staring a bit too much and looked up at me as she approached my car and smiled. I smiled back and hopped out of the car to open the door for her.  We got settled in my car, as we both were buckling our seatbelts, we took a brief pause to look at each other and smiled. I then said "you ready" with a grin, and Devin nodded her head yes. As soon as she gave me that signal I sped off to the diner.

The drive was pretty calm and quiet for the most part until Devin broke the silence. "Umm thanks for finally taking my offer up, for us to go on a date," she said as she played with both her hands, she turned her face to the side, and I could see a faint blush on her face, I smiled because she's so cute. "Uhh yeah sorry it took so long, I wasn't really ready to get into anything at the time". She nodded and then asked. "May I ask what made you finally say yes to giving us a chance?" she said this while rotating both her fingers back and forth from me to her. I stopped before I could answer to really tell her the reason. " I guess back then it just was never the right time, don't get me wrong I always saw you showing interest towards me but I never reciprocated it because I didn't want to hurt you by going into a relationship I couldn't put my all into it ya know, but now I feel like I'm finally ready to go ahead". After I spoke she looked up and gave me a big smile revealing her deep dimples on her cheeks. This time she didn't try to hide her blush, she then said, " well I'm glad you gave us a chance". I just looked at her and nodded. Before we knew it we were outside the dinner. I got out and jogged to her side of the car, to open the door for her, and held my hand out for her to hold. She got out and gracefully grabbed my hand, which I then led her out of the car into the diner. We got inside and immediately walked to the nearest empty booth.

We got settled in the booth and ended up sitting across from each other in the booth since we're on the first date. A few minutes later a waitress walked up to us placing two menus on our table alongside a glass of water to start us. "Welcome to Mama's Dee diner, my name is Molly and I will be your server for you guy's today, just let me know when you're ready to order, and I'll be back to place it". After introducing herself she walked away to serve the next customers.

"So what are you in the mood for, they have everything here, I would know cuz I come here every other week with Dre," I said a little too happy to mention his name. I turned down my smile and focused on Devin's response. "Uhh there's just so many " she giggled after. "I'll guess I'll have the classic cheeseburger with fries, and a vanilla shake". "Ok, ok I like that 😂 lol had to see if you got good taste, but imma get the deluxe burger meal with fries, a vanilla shake, and onion rings". She laughed after what I said. " I'm being serious, one of the keys to my heart is food lol, if you know what's good, you're good in my books". We both laughed. After a while, the waitress came back and took her orders and we sat for the remainder of her date just talking and laughing and sharing jokes and having fun, until it was time for me to take Devin back home. 

After 20 minutes we finally made it back to Devin's house. I got out of the car and opened the door for her and walked her to her porch. Once we got there I said my goodbyes but before I could leave, Devin reached over and gave me a hug, I hugged her back, and we stood there just hugging for a Good minute before Devin looked up, and grabbed my face pulling it down to hers. She brushed her lips against mine at first until I finally took initiative and pulled her into a sweet kiss.

After a while, we broke from the kiss and just stared at each other. Until she broke the silence. " Thanks for Tonight I had a good time, I hope we can do this sometime again". I looked at her and smiled " I enjoyed our date as well and would love to take you out again". After I said that she gave me a sweet grin and bit her lip and nodded before opening the front door to her house, she stopped and turned around, and said "definitely just hit me up". And walked into her house.

I'll go back home with a smile on my face thinking of how good our date was.

.....The Next Day...........

The next day as I made it to school I approached Lincoln and Toby by my locker. " So Mr. Hot stuff you couldn't even hit us back with a reply". Oh, shit with the whole date with Devin and everything I forgot to reply back to Toby and Lincoln. " Umm, I'm sorry guys I totally got caught up with my date with Devin to respond". Toby and Lincoln then looked at me with frowns, and with the acknowledgment of my response their frowning, turned into a smile,  Lincoln then said " ok but if you leave us to read again YOUR DONE". I and Toby just shook our heads and laughed at Lincoln's response as he made our way over to the Lincoln locker before class. I felt a tap on my shoulder. Once I turned around the person gave me a hug, I looked down only to see Devin.  I smiled and said "Hey" while hugging her back. We stood there like that for a bit causing others to notice our whole interaction. The others include Dre. I looked up at Dre with a curious look on my face, I noticed he looked visibly upset at the reaction. I was about to call out his name, and reach my hand out to him, to see what was wrong but then I realized what he had said to me that fateful night at the party and retracted my hands and placed them on Devin's hips returning my attention back to her. 

As I placed my hands on Devin's hips I felt my hands being harshly pulled, I looked up and to my surprise, it was Dre pulling my hand's in his direction. He dragged me all the way to an open vacant classroom in the West Wing of the school. Once we went to the classroom here immediately slammed and locked the door. He pushed me down onto a desk and caged me in with his body. I looked at him like he was crazy and turned my face away. He noticed that and pulled my face right back in his direction. I looked into his eyes and sighed, and broke our state and said "Dre what do you want, cuz last time I checked you said you want to be left alone, so I'm simply doing what you asked me to do". I looked at him angrily. He just looked at me and did not respond. "So you're mad now that I left you alone huh". I said that as I poked hard into his chest repeatedly, and pushed him off a little bit, but that didn't really affect him nor did he budge due to the fact that he was bigger than me and stronger than me. I rolled my eyes at the obvious. "Why was she all up on you". I looked up at him with disbelief, what does that have to do with him? "Are you kidding me what does that have to do with you, I don't have to explain shit to you". I responded. He grabbed my neck, but didn't choke me, he applied just the right amount of pressure not to hurt me. Once he did that I felt weird, something was happening to me, cuz there's no way, I would like when Dre chokes me. I tried hard to suppress the moans from leaving my lips, but it was too late, cuz one had escaped my lips.
