As they arrive in Eidenberg Deamon has again grown weak from lack of feeding. So where is this Kai anyway?”
“Shut up, Deamon, just shut up.”
Deamon felt the response was uncalled for and he tries getting a reading off the man as his irritability had risen incredibly fast throughout the day as they grew ever closer to Eidenberg. His interest in the large man wanes though as he is drawn towards the desires of the city. He looks around hungrily as he tries to pinpoint a simple target.
Tae seems to understand what he is doing though and gives the rope a sharp tug. Tae guides the demon into a tavern-inn, and up to the counter. “Room and two plates.” He places three coins on the counter.
The innkeeper looks at Deamon’s bound wrists and back to the large man. “We charge extra for captives. Tend to break things. Five coin.”
Tae stares sharply at the innkeeper but places the additional coins on the counter.
“Up the stairs, third on yer right. Me girl will bring up the food.” The innkeeper waves the tavern maid to the kitchen.
Tae leads Deamon to the room. The room was sparse, only a single bed, one chair and a small table. Tae ties him to the only thing that isn’t easily moved, the bed.
“Ooh lala, and I thought you didn’t want to have any fun,” quips Deamon, weakly.
Tae sinches the ropes even tighter, eliciting a sharp intake of pained breath from Deamon.
