I reached out and grabbed Darius' arm before he could open the passenger side door of his Audi for me. I wasn't getting in the car, not until I told him about Ash and I.
There was no way I was excluding my brother from anything happening in my life. Not even my relationships. He thought that it was impossible but I was holding out.
There had to be at least one, non-judgemental, sweet, willing guy who wouldn't mind dating Ash and I at the same time. He might be one in a million but I didn't mind waiting until I found that perfect person.
"I need to tell you something, before we go. Then you can decided whether or not you still want to go on a date with me," I told him, feeling nervous, but squashing it down. I was not ashamed of who I was and I wouldn't allow anyone to make me feel so - not even Ash. Though it was so obvious that he himself was ashamed of us.
Darius let go of the car door. He was so darn sexy that it made my stomach flip. It would be such a shame if he wasn't that man in a million. His mocha skin looked smooth and his handsome face was just too hot to bare. Not to mention the body on the guy. Delicious.
"What is it?" He asked, seemingly confused. Well, here goes nothing.
"Ash and I are intimately involved with each other and if you want to date me, you have to date the both of us."
There. I said it. Laid it out plain and simple. Like ripping off a band aid.
His mouth opened and closed and I watched shock flash across his face. It was the expected reaction. When he seemed to get over his surprise, he spoke slowly.
"Intimately how?"
"We fuck each other. I love him, he loves me. Basically, we're boyfriends who are twins and are looking for a partner to join our poly. If you're not into it, that's totally fine - your loss though - but then I can't go on this date with you," another band aid. Rip!
"Right," he muttered, seemly speechless. His reaction was better than expected though. At least he didn't freak out... or beat me up.
"So... how would that work then? I'd date you both one at a time or like together?"
Now it was my turn to be surprised. "You're not running away? Shouldn't you be screaming and disappearing over the horizon by now?"
His shoulders relaxed a little and he chuckled. "I can't deny that you've caught me off guard. However, I'm intrigued."
"Let me stop you right there!" I held up a finger. "Me and my boo are not some fetish, one-night stand, bucket list tick off for you to wank over and dispose of. We're classy, beautiful boys who deserve respect and love and commitment. If you cannot deliver then..." I jerked my thumb over my shoulder. "Skidaddle!"
His mouth fell open once again. It was harsh, but I had to put it out there now. It saved things from getting messy later on. I was doing him a favour. Honesty was indeed the best policy.
Darius shook his head. "You've got some serious attitude-"
"Thank you."
He let out an exasperated laugh. "Kaeden, I wouldn't use you and your twin like that. I'm not that type of guy. Surprisingly, I understand how you feel. People look at me and think that they can have sex with me just so that they can tell their friends they've slept with a black guy. Tick the BBC of their bucket lists," he shrugged a little, his face annoyed. "I get it, honestly."
"That sucks," I frowned. I hadn't even thought about that. "People are assholes."
"Yeah," he agreed. "I tell you what, let's go back and get Ash and see how this goes. I have no problems with it as long as you guys are comfortable sharing. I don't want you fighting."
"Bold of you to assume we'll be fighting over you," I batted my eyelashes. "Might have to battle you over topping Ash's delicious ass."
He just shook his head, letting out another surprised snort. The man muttered something about a spanking as he followed me back inside my apartment building.
I unlocked the front door, shoving it open. "You know what, I'm not in the mood to go out. Would you like to stay in and cook with us - well with Ash. I can't cook to save my life." I turned on the lights inside the dark apartment.
Had Ash gone to sleep? I felt bad about earlier. I'll admit that I'd overreacted but I'd been hurt too. I just wanted him to try a bit more you know? Have faith in us and stop worrying about what everyone else thought.
"Ash, honey?" I called out, leaving Darius in the front room as I walked further down the corridor. There was no reply.
Our bedroom was empty so I decided to check the bathroom. I pushed the door open, expecting to see him shaving or something. What I didn't expect to see however was Ash, dressed in a tiny blue mini skirt that barely covered his ass and white thigh-high stockings on his thick thighs.
My mouth fell open.
Ash startled, yanking his ear buds out of his ears. My twin's eyes widened, his face draining of colour as he stared at me.
"You! What?! I-" I looked him up and down. At this point, my jaw was aching. "What the fuck are you wearing?!"
He looked down at himself then back up at me. Then, he burst into tears.
"Oh my god! No, dont cry!" I screamed, waving my hands at him. I wasnt judging it just came out a lot more aggressively then I intended! I was caught of guard!
Ash tore the skirt down his legs, sobbing. I rushed into the bathroom to try and stop him, but he stumbled back, tripping and falling. He hit his head on the edge of the bath with a smack and slumped to the floor.
"OH MY GOD I KILLED MY TWIN!"
"What the hell is going on?!" Darius appeared in the doorway, looking panicked at all the yelling.
"Call a freaking ambulance! He hit his head! I didn't mean it, I swear!" I gasped. "Oh my god, Ash!"
I fell to my knees beside him, my hands shaking. I should've been more careful. "Fuck, dont leave me! I can't live without you Ash!" Now it was my turn to sob.
"Move out the way," Darius grunted firmly and I scooted aside, crying my eyes out like a baby. He knelt down beside Ash, laying him on the floor on his side. Recovery position. I'd seen it on TV.
"Ash, open your eyes for me please," he asked gently.
"How can he?! Hes freaking dead!"
"Shut it Kaeden. Dont be so dramatic," Darius scolded me, leaning over Ash and checking the back of his head. "He's got a little bump. It's not cut though."
Ash groaned, squirming a little. "Ouch," he whispered, wincing when Darius pressed the wound with his fingertips.
"Open your eyes darling," Darius encouraged. Ash blinked a few times, looking up and around.
"I thought you guys went out," he muttered in confusion, attempting to sit up. Darius hooked his strong hands under Ash's armpits and easily helped him upright, sitting him down.
Ash was red faced as he stared at the man. His shyness increased tenfold when he realised the skirt that started this whole fiasco was tangled around his ankles and his underwear was on display. White... lace... panties.
He squeaked and covered himself, looking on the verge of tears once again.
"I'll go get you some ice okay? Just sit tight and try not to move so much," Darius told him gently before standing and leaving the bathroom.
I crawled forward, stopping in front of him. "Why didn't you tell me that you liked to cross-dress?" I asked as gently as I could manage.
He shrugged softly, biting at his pink lips in shame. "I was embarrassed," he whispered. "I didn't want you to hate me. I thought that you'd find it a turn-off. You never look in the women's side when we buy our fashion magazines. I didnt know how to tell you," he sniffled.
"Oh boo, it's okay. I would never judge you, silly. It might not be for me, but if it's for you then I'll support you all the way," I grabbed his hand. "You looked totally sexy by the way."
"B-but what about our matching outfits?" He asked, two tears sliding from his eyes.
"Honey, dont underestimate the power of colour co-ordination. We'll make it work." I leaned forward and kissed his plump lips.
He gripped my hand tighter, moving his mouth so beautifully against my own. I could taste his salty tears as I licked his lips and beckoned him to open his mouth. He did so with a soft whine as our tongues touched and danced together.
A deep clearing of a throat made Ash startle and pull away. Darius was staring with curious eyes, but he shook his head without saying anything. He came closer, crouching and pressing ice wrapped in a tea towel to the back of Ash's head.
"You're gonna be sore for a while. I dont think it's bad enough for a doctor's visit. But if you feel dizzy or nauseous then I'll take you to hospital okay?" He told Ash who nodded.
"Weren't you guys supposed to be on a date? Why did you come back?" His eyes widened and he looked at me, only now realising that Darius saw us kissing.
"He knows," I patted the man's firm bicep. Wow. So hard. I squeezed it with an impressed nod.
Darius rolled his eyes. "Your twin has a thing for blunt outburts. I know you guys are together. I'm willing to date you both."
"Really?" Ash looked unbelieving. "What's the c-catch?"
"I must have asshole written across my forehead," Darius muttered and I snorted a laugh.
"He's my baby, he's fragile. He's looking out for himself and so he should be," I nodded proudly. "So Darius? What's the catch?" I nudged his shoulder.
"The catch is that if you continue being a smart ass, imma tan your bottom red."
I practically moaned. Jesus, I loved a dominant guy. "Go ahead daddy. Jumping straight to the kinky shit already on the first date? I'm not complaining."
"Is he always like that?" Darius gave my twin a teasing tut. Ash giggled a little and nodded.
"He's the wildcard."
"I can see that. What about you?"
"M-me? I'm just..." he frowned, seemingly lost for words. That won't do.
"The cute-smart-sexy-kind-perfect-baby," I interjected firmly.
Darius nodded with a hum. "I can see that. Adorable," he cleared his throat. "Let's get you on the couch then. As much as your bathroom looks nice, I'm sure we dont want to spend the rest of the night in here."
"Right," Ash nodded, going to stand before squeaking and covering himself again. Instead of leaving, Darius pulled the blue skirt up Ash's legs.
Ash nervously lifted his bottom, allowing the material to slide back up to his hips. "You don't mind?"
"Not at all," Darius purred and I had a feeling he was just as turned on as I was. Never thought I'd ever see my Ash in a skirt but boy did he look gorgeous.
Finally covered up, Ash stood. Instead of allowing him to walk, Darius scooped him up and carried him into the living room. He lay my twin on the couch and I snuggled up to him, throwing a blanket over the both of us.
"I guess I'm making dinner," Darius chuckled.
"Oh, no, I can help," Ash tried to wiggle free but I clung to him with anaconda snake strength.
"It's fine. You just rest. I am about to raid your cupboards though. Is there anything I shouldn't touch?" He asked respectfully. Ugh, we love a polite gentleman.
"Yeah, we keep our dildos in the fridge. Don't ask why-"
"No we dont! He's messing about!" Ash squealed, pinching me under the blankets.
"Ow!" I laughed. "Make yourself at home, you can touch anything!"
Darius nodded with a laugh, shaking his head and disappearing.
"I can't believe this," Ash whispered, his eyes darting back and forth from me to the door. "He's staying."
"I told you to have faith," I pouted, though this honestly was a dash of luck I wasn't going to take for granted.
"I have faith in you, but not in others. I didn't think anyone would really want us," he told me sadly, still whispering.
"Well Darius said he's willing to give us a try. Let's just see how it goes. If it doesn't work out then we'll enjoy each other until we find our next one in a million. But for now, let's just embrace this okay? Try not to worry too much," I cooed back, kissing his cheek.
"Okay Kae-Kae," he nodded, resting his head on my shoulder.
"Dont sleep. Sleeping after a head injury is dangerous," I tugged his hair and he groaned.
"I'm not sleeping!"
"Good. Because I'm nice, we can watch discovery channel. But tomorrow, I get to hog the remote," I compromised, turning on the TV and switching channel to some programme about apes.
"Thanks. I love you."
"Love ya too boo."
The rest of the night went smoothly. Darius cooked us some delicious penne pasta. I mean the guy was a full package. He could cook, he was sweet, he had a job, he was polite, he looked like a god... et cetera. I really liked him.
Ash did too. He got all shy and stuttered whenever Darius spoke a word in his direction, practically hiding himself against my body. By the end of the night, we'd chatted and found out some more info about each other.
He was part of a marketing team belonging to this tech company that just set up in town. They sold sim chips or something. I couldn't really tell you the ins and outs, but Darius was super intelligent. We also found out that he had a sister and his mom was a single mom - he didn't know his dad.
Darius asked us a lot of questions too. He was obviously curious about how Ash and I ended up turning incest on each other. I happily told him our story, not that it was very interesting.
Our parents, as much as we loved them, were workaholics. They barely had time for Ash and I. Mom was a lawyer and dad was head chief at the police department of the town we used to live in.
Ash and I just gravitated towards each other. We'd been glued together at the hip since birth so naturally, we grew closer and closer, exploring things together. We watched porn for the first time together, had our first kiss together, came out as gay together, experimented with sex together. It got to the point were it just made sense to be a couple so that's what we were.
Darius listened closely, humming in understanding every so often. He was a good listener and he didnt interrupt us when we spoke.
"It makes sense when you put it like that," he nodded. "I hope you haven't suffered because of your relationship."
"There has been the few odd comment. We don't go around boasting that we're together like that. But we don't deny it if asked either. I dont take shit though. If someone has something negative to say, I'll throat punch them." I shrugged. I might be a little gay boy. But I was strong little gay boy who had no problem sticking up for myself.
"So you should," Darius nodded his eyes dark. "Dont let people push you around."
"Only you, daddy," I shot him a wink.
He grinned. "I should get going. It's late. Hopefully we can go on another date soon? Without an injury next time."
"Sure," I stood, stretching with a fat yawn. "Same time next week?"
"Sounds like a plan." He stood up, grabbing his jacket off the arm of the sofa. "Good night."
"Good night," Ash stood beside me, grabbing my hand.
Darius hesitated before gently pressing a kiss to my cheek and then Ash's. "See you later."
"Bye," Ash squeaked and I grinned.
We walked him to the door and watched him leave. The moment the door clicked shut, I turned to Ash.
"Boo, we've hit the jackpot."
