I've lived my whole life here with Sister Anna, Brother Tom and Father Albert, they are the ones who take care of aaaaaall of us, it's funny cause we all look so different but we are like brothers and sometimes older people come here to choose one of us to live with them, I miss the ones that are gone, but they seem happy with their new families.
No one has come picked me up yet, they think I'm "weird".
One day this really old lady, she was like 35 years old, came to visit me, she said she was going to adopt me or something but then she got scared cause when she told me she wanted a glass of water I made one appear on her hand, she suddenly started screaming that I was a monster and then ran away, I never saw her again I only wantedto help her.
Other thing, I'm the only kid here with, again, weird eyes, they all have giant eyes, but mines aren't, they look like if I had my eyes closed all the time; Sister Anna says that's because I come from a place far away from here called Asia, and everyone there has eyes like me, but in different color, because the color of my eyes come from my father, he was from this party of the world, that Sister Anna says, it’s called America, I haven't met him yet but I hope one day I will...
Anyways, my best friend is Jonathan, here we are all brothers but he is special, he is my favorite brother, we fight and all but we love each other, he looks different as well, has white hair and red eyes, no one really knows why but apparently that's the reason his parents didn't want him.
Today I'm excited because there are this two old people who are looking at Jonny and me and they seem excited, one of them, a lady, says hi to me with her hand, I really don't know what to say, I've never been good at comunicating, everything I say are my thoughts, like right now; YES THATS RIGHT, YOU, DEAR READER, ARE IN MY MIND! That's how I've always communicated, when I speak no one seems to understand, but my thoughts they do, I make sure of that, so that's what I'm going to do with this lady who is saying hi.
Oh oh, I think I'm in trouble, she is making a weird face, now she is speaking with sister Anna; Anna wants to talk to me now...
She says Jonny and I have been adopted! We are going to be officially brothers, my name now is Nathaniel, Nathaniel North!
