" I'm alive. am I "

In confusion he asked himself, he was definitely sure that he was dead a moment ago, but here he was in his bed sweating like crazy. 

*knock*knock*

he heard a knock in his door, and as he was now he panicked, and was hesitant to do anything. 

" karma, are you all right. answer me "

In that moment of panic he heard the soothing voice of his loving mother and opened the door, and saw his parents there. 

" hey mom , what are you doing this late at night "

" son are you alright, we heard a scream from your room " said dad. 

" yes I'm all right, I just had a nightmare, it gave me a jump scare, that's all. sorry for it "

both parents looked each other in the eye's, and mom let out a sigh. 

" tell us if anything happens ok " said mom. 

" ok mom, if anything happens, I will let you know first "

both of them went to their own room and he locked my own room too. and as they went away, he sat down near the door, feeling relived, and let out a big sigh. 

*sigh*

" what the fu*k is wrong with me, was that a dream. NO, that was definitely not a dream,no way. I was definitely in hell just now "

he denied any thought of it being a dream or a illusion, he knew that whatever happened, happened in reality and it was the clear fact. 

In confusion he thought about telling this to his parents, but thought to himself

" would they even believe in me, no, would anyone believe in me, people will think I'm crazy or something. after all people don't believe in what they haven't saw "

he did thought that maybe, just maybe, talking to his parents would definitely improve something, he wanted to believe in it and at one point even thought of telling them himself, until the image of their heads cut off from before came to mind. 

now he was scared thoroughly, and didn't had anyone to turn to. 

" I should not talk to my parents about this, not just yet, I should find a more suitable change, which will make it more believable. and besides, dad already seems bussy with his work he got from before "

these were the thoughts that came to mind and he put the plan on held form a bit. 

" what should I do now, I don't feel like sleeping anymore. right, guess I'll watch some anime, it's already 3:00 o'clock, it'll be morning soon, and today we'll get our results too "

saying so he started watching some anime to kill some time until morning.

 It's 7:00 o'clock in the morning now and we were having breakfast, talking about my results, both of them were excited. more then me actually. 

" oo.. ohoho ho, I cannot wait for the results, and show it to my other friends "

" please don't, mom. it might be fun for you but it's embarrassing for me to look in eye's of your friends kid's. they already see me as their natural enemy "

" oo, Com'on, you might not know this, but you are a star in our group, and even in the neighborhood, everybody tells their kid to be more like you "

" and that's exactly why "

mom over the time kept on grinning, and in lost of all hopes and turned to my all might dad, come'on dad say something, was what I thought to myself, but when I looked at dad, I didn't know what to think of him anymore. through out the conversation between me and mom, he kept on pretending like we didn't exist. while focused on the newspaper. 

I mean come'on he hasn't turned any pages at all, he is looking at the same page from 15 minutes straight. 

on that I lost all my hopes from dad, but in desperate attempt, I looked at dad with eye's that had given up on him and looked at him as if giving him his last chance of redemption. 

" I forgot to tell you this before but I will have to go to ' mumbai ' tomorrow "

dad broke the ice and came up as a hero to me. but this now had him in a tight spot. 

" what do you mean by that , you never told us about it "

our dear mom of course got angry with dad. now at this point I can do nothing but pray for him. ' oo dear god, have mercy on this man, as he is about to get his share of ' karma ' '. 

" so now you like to give surprises, is that it, huh " asked mom in an obviously angry tone. 

" no no, it's not like that dear, it's just that I forgot about it, that's all, I was gonna tell you anyways "

" ahha "

mom was obviously not happy about this, and so I had to jump in. 

" so, dad why are you going to ' mumbai ' anyways "

dad looked at me with eye's filled with gratitude, and took his chance to jump in as well. 

" oo yeah, nothing much, it's just that some people have infiltrated our country and attacked our ' indian marine ' soldiers "

" O my, so why are you going there "

" well our police department has caught one of their member, who was supposedly their tour guide, and I'm going there to take over his custody "

a group of people infiltrating our country, dad going to mumbai, a tour guide and the thing ' ayush ' talked about. these seems oddly connected to each other, dad said about attacking the ' marine ', but the news never got on TV, which means that government is covering the incident, then I should assume that what dad meant by attacking, is killing. 

could this be the reason why the person on phone with ' ayush's dad ' said that there are ' monster ' here. 

these were the things he deduced by himself in that movement. 

" so dad, if you're leaving tomorrow when are you gonna be back "

" don't you worry, because this time I will be back within a day "

" hope you do as you say dear " said mom with an irritated tone. now I know that the only thing that would make her feel better are the results.

it's here, the moment we all have been waiting for. it's finally the results time, we three are sitting here on the sofa with my laptop in hands. 

" search it, fast " 

" stop pushing me. we are here, this is the site , ok here I go "

" ..... " 

it was silence for a bit, because the results were in front of our eyes, and after seeing it, I assure you mom definitely felt a lot better. dad put on a smile and said. 

" congratulations "

" thanks, dad "

after the incident last night this is the first good thing that happened to me. 

after seeing this mom as, she is had a Smiling face and said. 

" I'm gonna tell all my friends today "

I could tell that she is gonna brag to all her friends, as she should. because her son came 1st place nationwide in the whole country.
