“You did what!” My father Lucifer roared irritably, smacking me across the face. “You were supposed to wait until she was done with school. I understand that she is destined to be yours, but damn. Why can’t you listen? You need to bring her to the nurse’s office today. I will be the substitute.” Chuckling to myself, the image of him in a nurse’s uniform mildly amusing. His hand smacked the back of my head, his brows furrowing. Seven o’ clock flashed in my direction, providing me a way out. One strand of red hair fell out of place, his copper eyes glowering in my direction.
“Oh, darn.” I stammered nervously, tapping the number flashing on the stove. “Time for school.” His lips parted in protest, my mind flashing back to yesterday. Ary, the devil in me, had been looking for Ary. She was to be my queen, a demon trapped in human skin. Not paying attention, a girl ran into me. My breath had hitched at the sight of her, in person she was the most beautiful creature I had seen. Her purple hair cascading down her back, her green eyes avoiding mine. Helping her up, she indeed was the girl in my mating dreams. Granted I hid myself, hoping to never find her. Although, she did look awful in yellow. It washed out porcelain skin tone. The memory of me biting her poisoning my mind, burying my face in my palms. Why did I do that! Her energy alerted me, breaking me out of my trance. Tears were streaming down her face, white hair cascading down her back. Ignoring me, she kept walking away. Eventually resulting in me pulling her into my car, her face in my crotch. Think about your grandma, my cock getting hard. Leaping off of me, she crashed to the floor. The urge to mate glowing in her eyes, her next words breaking my heart.
“It’s okay.” She replied sheepishly, looking at the ground. “It’s not like my life could get any worse. I am pretty sure my mother hates me. I always knew that I would end up in Hell.” Pulling her close to my chest, the door was ripped open. Her best friends were pissed off, and the guy was giving me icy vibes. The silver cross dangling from his ears, his long shaggy hair hanging around his shoulders. Horror widened my eyes, my eyes falling on the tattooed hunter’s symbols on their necks. Three serpents twirled around each other, black iron chain in the middle. Bursting through them, she protested furiously as I dragged her to the nurse’s office. Turning back towards me, my eyes fell on the black sweatshirt dress hugging her body.
“What is your deal!” She chastised sarcastically, pinning me against the wall. “First off, you claim that I am your girlfriend, then you bite me. At least take me on a date first, you dick. Now I am a demon. I ought to kill you ri-” My father cleared his throat, a scream exploding from her lips. Fainting into my arms, a death glare shot from my eyes.
“Maybe you should have warned her before she even gazed upon your real face.” I growled through gritted teeth. “Or at least ease her into it.” Shrugging, he went back into the nurse’s office. Locking the door behind us, her eyes fluttered open. Pride gleamed in my eyes, her fist slamming into my father’s face.
“You could have warned me before showing me your real face!” She barked irritably, a snarl curling on her lips. “I am new to this all, and I am out.” Reaching for the door handle, he snapped his fingers. Her body froze in place, his eyebrow twitching. Taking a deep breath, he let her go.
“You are a demon now, so you need to get your affairs in order.” He explained in an irritated tone, running his hand through his slicked back hair. “Technically the human you died, so you aren’t even alive.” Ignoring him completely, she turned away from him. The door burst open, her friends burst in holding black staffs.
“You let our friend go!” Lily ordered, swinging her staff in my father’s direction. Sharp gasps tumbled from their lips, Ary catching it mid strike. Jolts of black electricity burned her hands. Rushing forward, my father held me back.
“You will have to kill me first.” She threatened, her eyes glowing red. “I refuse to stand by while you senselessly kill anyone.” Wincing in pain, her foot slammed into Lily’s stomach. The glass shelf shattered as she crashed into the wall. Dan rushed at her, her fist slamming into his face.
“If you choose to stand by them, then you lose us as friends.” Dan snarled, jamming the staff into her stomach. “We have no choice but to kill you.” A defiant grin grew on her determined face, her fingers wrapping around Dan’s neck. Tossing him to the side, Lily stumbled to her feet. A scowl darkening her face, blood dripping from the back of her head.
“Consider this our last day as friends.” She snapped icily, wrapping her hands around her brother’s arm. “We will fight again.” Ary tried to look tough, but tears were welling up in her eyes. The twins sauntered out, a cry of anguish exploding from her now black lips. Black vines crumbled the white walls, a cage forming around her. Wonder brightened my father’s eyes, his skin burning at just a single touch. An older version of Ary burst in, horror widening her eyes. Guilt burned in her eyes, a single black rose growing in front of her.
“I am sorry, mom.” She wept, the cage only getting stronger. “I am such a monster.” Her voice cracked, her mother spinning the rose in her palm. Looking away, another bomb of a secret ready to detonate.
“I am not your mother.” Her mother admitted sadly, the vines covering the walls. “My father killed your parents, and I hid you all this time. You can’t come home ever again, or the hunters will kill me. Besides, I was going to kill you in your sleep tomorrow anyway. Please forgive me.” Another scream of anguish rang out around us, the cage getting thicker. A hunter’s dagger glistened in her palm, the intent to kill her daughter rather clear. Tears flooded from Ary’s eyes, her fists clenched tightly. Blood dripped onto the floor, the rose dying in her mother’s palm.
“Get out of my life then!” She roared carnally, the cage crumbling around her. “Like always you care about yourself first. Fuck you!” Grabbing her backpack, she walked into the hall with all of the other students. Rushing after her, the sound of her mother being killed by father destroying all hopes of a repaired relationship. The bell rang for the first period, her moody face glaring up at the board. Sitting down next to her, other students stared at her.
“Do you guys have a problem?” I chided rudely, everyone shrinking back. “As if you guys never have had a rough morning.” The metal of the legs screeched against the floor, the twins coming in. Snarls curled on their faces, the whispers beginning.
“Did you hear, the twins actually got into a fight with Ary?” A blonde girl whispered behind me to her bimbo friend. “Does that mean she is now all alone?” Red and blue lights flooded the window, officers telling the teacher to send us all home. Gathering her bag, a deep sigh tumbled from her lips. Everyone stared, an officer walking up to her.
“I regret to inform you, but your mother is dead.” She explained sadly, offering her a tissue. “Do you have somewhere to go?” Before her lips could open, my father stepped up behind her. Charming them with a smile, he told them that she would be staying with us from now on. Ary stood there numbly, tears welling up in her eyes. Using his powers, he erased the thought that she was the killer. Silence hung between all of us, hurt burning in her eyes. Thunder clouds rumbled above us, lightning illuminating the sky. Heavy raindrops plodded around her, the rest of us getting soaked to the bone. How was she this powerful? The town car door opened by itself, her hourglass figure hopping into the car. Following after, my father popped his head in.
“I drove here, so I will meet you at home.” He chirped cheerfully, trying to cheer her up. “You are more than welcome to rest in my home.” Nodding silently, he closed the door behind us. My soaking wet suit drenched the leather beneath me, her head crashing onto my lap. Tears exploded from her eyes, the pain of the morning releasing itself in a flood. Gripping my wet pants, she sobbed violently.
“I am so sorry for burdening you.” She wept, her sad face gazing up at me. “Can you hold me?” Her body shivered, her arms wrapping around my neck. Pressing her lips against mine passionately, time stopped. A soft blush rose to both of our cheeks, a sad smile dimming her face. Her heart beat faster as I pulled her close to my chest. Gripping my shirt, she nuzzled her face into my neck. Lilies, she smelled of lilies. The devil in me wanted this moment to never end, the shrill ring of my phone interrupting us.
“Take her to the safe house. The hunters found us.” My father warned, the screams of Hell making it hard for me to hear him. “Then don’t let anyone in except for me.” Looking up at the demonic driver, he nodded his head. The tires squealed as we spun off in the other direction, soft snores relaxing my muscles. Her chest rose up and down, a peaceful look in her eyes.
“Take me Dean.” She pleaded lustfully, my cock growing hard. Her hips ground against me, the gentleman choosing to ignore it all. As fast as the dream came, it was gone. Melting into the seat, I secretly prayed that my blue balls would go away.
