Fannie Mae could bear anything, but if someone uses violence, she was'nt an easy target. Dispite her taciturn nature and shabby appearance, she still looks upright 

  She kicked Luis in the left leg and he lost his balance and eventually fell. Luis stood up angerily. He wanted to hit her but was stopped by Jack when he saw Hazel coming in their direction. 

"Are you guys hung- 

why you are lying on the floor, Fannie?" Hazel asked stretching her arm so Fannie could get up. Without answering, she ran upstairs. Before Hazel could understand the situation Eme said he was hungry and hoped the other guys would keep going. 

    After receiving the signal, Louis and Jack said at the same time "Yes, w-we are hungry" 

she walked towards the utensils sending the three boys out of the gallery.

Few minutes later she knocked up some pasta and beef casserole and placed it on the dinner table.

Hazel was one of the best Cheffetes in the Orphanage. She could turn any simple food into ambrosial dish.
