“Yeah, she sits next to me in class actually, she’s really funny too!” Grace said smiling. 

“Shoot the bells about to ring! We need to clean our stuff up.” Ash said as he looked at his phone. 

“Alright cya guys later!” Tracy said, rushing out. The rest of us had to go to our classes as well.

I walked back into class with Sam behind me. As I walked through the door I saw Melody at my desk, as soon as she saw me she ran back to her own desk. I put my stuff down next to my seat and saw a letter sitting on my desk. Seems like a love letter, probably from Melody. It says to meet her outside the cafe down the street. 

“Hey! I said listen to me. I just wanted to be your friend!” I turned to see Dylan pestering the new kid Michael already. Michael is ignoring him but it doesn’t seem like Dylan is taking it well.

“Could you leave me alone? I told you before that I don't like you.” Dang Michael is taking it well, I wonder how long it’ll last though Dylan always breaks everyone soon enough. 

“What the hell man! Whatever I never wanted to be your friend anyway!” Dylan Slammed his hand down on the desk  and used his other hand to pick Michael up by the collar. 

“HEY! Put Michael down. Pick on someone your own size.” Daniel surprisingly steps up to stop this. I was not expecting him to do this. He never stands up to Dylan, normally we all ignore him. Dylan looks over as he sets Michael down. 

“The hell do you want, huh?” Dylan clenches his fist as he walks over to Daniel. Daniel suddenly looked at the door then smirked. He looks back at Dylan and falls over backwards looking terrified. 

“Dylan! To the principal's office now!” The teacher walked in. I see why he smirked now. Everyone started laughing at Dylan for getting in trouble. He walked down to the principal's office acting all embarrassed. He may not be the nicest to people at school but his parents are super strict and him getting in trouble won’t go over their heads easily. I’ve seen them here before talking to the principal and it was not a nice view. 

  -After school-

“Hey Evan you wanna come to my house? I’ll do your math homework~~” That is a very persuasive deal…

“I would but Melody left a love note on my desk. She wants me to go to the cafe down the street from here.” I much rather go to Sam’s place though. 

“O-oh, what are you gonna say to her?” Sam looked sad as he said that.

“It’s Melody, she’s super weird, of course I’m gonna reject her. I feel like she’s constantly staring at me at school too, it’s creepy.” Honestly, I do not like her. After I said that Sam’s face lit up again.

“Well after you’re done with that you should go to my place! My mom can make us dinner too. Your mom is at work all night today right?” Sam was acting really happy suddenly.

“Yeah sure I’ll go and yes my mom is at work. That homework offer is still there though rightttt?” It won’t take long with Melody anyway.

“Yes of course, I’ve already finished mine in class. But, see you later?” He said with a big smile on his face.

“Yup cya in a bit! This won’t take too long hopefully!” I smiled back as we parted ways. He walked home as I continued walking down the street to the cafe.
