From The Shadows, Part 2

Jul 15, 2022

Father was embarrassed to hear the man's words, but he was proud to talk about me.

Father exhaled deeply and said, "Blue Grim, I'm not asking as a comrade, but as a student to teacher, Master Grim. You should bring Little Eth with you to Atlas City!"

Huh? Is that man....Father's teacher?

"Sighs! Edwin, even if you are my student, you joined the council at the age of 18, not eight! In comparison to you, your son is still young, and he should not bear the burden of trying to murder anyone or getting red stained hands!"

"But.."

"There are no buts!"

Father was going to tell him about the day I killed the slave traders on my own, but Mr.Blue Grim wasn't ready to hear what his student had to say.

"Master!" My father let out a loud grunt.

"You Dare raise your voice against your teacher, Blue Blood!"

"Master, First and foremost, listen to me. Ethan...he already killed peoples to save a little girl who was being kidnapped by slave traders... , all by himself!"

"HUh? What exactly are you saying? How can an eight-year-old is capable of being that brave?"

Suddenly as they were speaking about me,

"Tck"

When he heard that, the Man frowned.

Just as that happened, my breathing stepped off a scale and as a result of my mana reinforcement in my ears. After all, I'm still a Light Red stage mage. And with this body, I can't help at a situation like this.

Well, I tried to run, but "HUH?" The man sensed me already. No wonder he an assassin who was the teacher for father.

Sensing me, he gave of a smile and replied to father, "Yes, I believe you! But, I have a condition!"

"What is the condition?"

"I might end up killing your son, is that alright for you?" With a smirk, the Man inquired.

"Yes! I'm confident Ethan would outplay you, master!" Father responded.

"Hey now, I'm a Light Yellow core mage. How can I lose to an mere Light Red stage mage? Hahah"

"Master, You do understand that I'm an Solid Yellow Cored mage right? Even I'm saying my adorable little boy can outplay me!"

"Erhm"

Well, apart from dragging me into this, I'm exempted that my father has a lot of faith in me.
