I went to the door and, as I had suspected Ashleigh was standing there in a beautiful skirt and a matching shirt, with Seth's hoodie on her waist.
'What's with the face,' Asleigh asked coming in, 'Seth not tell you that I'm coming?'
'No, not exactly.' I answered her calmly. She tutted before stepping inside the living room.
'Hey boys,' She cried before sitting on Seth's lap 'Hey babe.' They kissed and by now Jessy had heard all the commotion and was stomping down the stairs. When she saw Ashleigh on Seth's lap, she wasn't having any of it.
'Who is she?' Pointing at Asleigh, who was now nudging Seth's chest with her head.
'She's my girlfriend.' Seth explained, he was grinning so much that I thought his face might fall off.
'G...g...g...girlfriend?!' Jessy stammered amazed
'What's wrong hunny, never been a girlfriend or had a boyfriend?' By this time everyone was laughing.
Well actually she-' I started before being cut of by Jessy saying,
'Shush.'
'Oh, it's alright. I've heard all about it from Ollie, over there, that you've been trying to steal my man.' They were now face-to-face with each other and, Jessy had gone red with embarrasment.
'I...um...guess...um...yeah..., but I do like spmeone else!'
'What's his name?'
'I don't think you know him but, his name is Jason.'
'Jason Anderson?' I asked questioninly
'Yeah, I found out from Lacey, that he is coming to school. So we met up in town on Tuesday.'
'Was that why yo weren't home last night till 10pm?' Jade asked
'Yeah, sorry.' Everyone had stopped sniggering by now and was listening hard.
'Well, we should be going.' Sam told us all.
'BYE!' We all chirped
'Bye Seth, Bye Ashleigh.' Jessy sout-whispered
'See ya.' They both replied.
'Well that's over with. I'm gonna make some coffee.' Jade quoted as soon as they had left.
'Ok.' Me and Ollie chirped as we watched my sister go into the kitchen. As we sat to eat our food, the awkward silence broke into the room. Jade was coffee making, Ollie was studying his food, Jackson was taking a nap (I think), I was listening to the rumble of the kettle, Ellie was playing with her dolls and Jessy was, well just being Jessy.
