Janette opened the closet and when she saw Anna, she went up to her and hugged her. "Selene says she misses you and "I love you Mommy"."
Anna smiled, tearing up. “Is she doing well? Is she being good?”
Janette let go, "She's fine. She was a little lippy with us earlier when I was introducing myself and Alastor was asking nicely for her help. But I gave her a stern talk to and it seemed to somewhat get through to her. She's such a little ball of sass~." She giggled.
Anna joined her. “I-I’m sorry about that. I was the same way as a girl.”
"It's alright. She helped us out by picking out outfits for Alastor's friends. Your daughter certainly knows how to spruce people up!" She complimented as she went to grab two thick blankets and some pillows.
“Thank you, but that talent she picked up from her grandmother. She was a seamstress. Had her own little shop and all, Selene would spend hours there.” Anna helped with the pile. “So that demon… you are close to him? To them?”
"Yes. I am. Me and Al are actually… going out. And despite him being a demon… he's very sweet with the kids. Even Selene. For heaven's sake he managed to convince me to keep Sal because of Sarah and for the gator to scare off my suffocating family." She giggled.
Anna searched for any sign of deception. “No.. No tricks? No deals? No self gain?”
Janette laughed. "That's what I thought at first when I met him again for the first time since I was six. But he said that he does make exceptions for the few humans when it comes to deal making. Elenore was one of them. She's in Heaven." She said as she got teary eyed with a sad smile, lightly holding her cross.
“You… knew him when you were six?” Anna was growing more curious by the second.
"Mm-hm! I used to come out here with my grandma Maria to visit Elenore. At the time, I had no idea that I had gifts with the spirit world. Al was the first spirit that wanted to play with me instead of the ones that scared me in the middle of the night. He played so many games with me, pretend to lose at a few, tea parties and all. He even protected me from bullies and my older siblings that, honestly, are just as bad as the bullies. Scared my older brothers out their wit's end when they stole my dolls. Heh. But as soon as I turned ten, my mother deemed it that I was too old to play around and decided to "make me a proper lady of society." I never saw him again after that. As I grew older I assumed that he was just my imaginary friend. But now that I'm here… I feel like living those happy days again…"
Anna took in her words. She’d never heard of a good demon before, but Alastor didn’t sound that BAD either. “Is… he’s good then? Master Alastor?”
Janette smiled. "Well, he's still an overlord through and through and does act violently. But he's been learning to show restraint. More civilized. Remember, he was once human too."
“HE WAS?!” That totally threw Anna for a loop. She had no clue.
Janette looked confused. "Wait… you didn't know…? He was human back in the early 1900's. He became a demon because he not only dabbled in voodoo and cannibalism but he was a serial killer. He died… well he hasn't really told me how he died. He's sensitive about that. And the only reason I know who he was in life was shared information from his friends and a little from himself…. You had no idea that humans can turn into demons too? Does any of the other spirits know?"
“I didn’t… Some might know, I can’t say… I’m in here.. I’ve been here since my husband… killed our baby girl..” She choked out a sob.
Janette went to comfort her. She put the stuff down and gave her a hug. "It's going to be ok. You don't need him anymore. The only person that needs you is Selene. And I know it's hard. But a little girl should have their mother when they're lonely. Alastor and the others won't bother you from seeing her. And they'll leave you alone. The only hellborn demons that are here are Arabella and Charlie. And they have no intention of hurting you. The rest were human at one point and they have no interest in hurting anyone here. I'm not saying ALL demons are like this. But the ones here. They will not hurt you. And if any other demons come through that intend to do harm, Alastor, Arabella, and I WILL protect you and the others. I promise." She soothed as she rubbed circles on her back.
Anna nodded sniffling. “O-ok… thank you..”
Janette calmed her down but then she saw the time on her watch. "Anna, I have to go. But I will be back later on. If you want help to see your daughter, then I'll guide you to the attic. No one will touch or go near you except Selene. Okay?"
“Okay..” She nodded. “Thank you again. You are an amazing friend.”
Janette smiled and hugged her tighter. "You are too. You just don't know it." She let her go and grabbed the blankets and pillows and waved her goodbye. She shut the door and looked for Alastor.
"Alastor? Where are you? I have the blankets and pillows!" She called out.
Alastor wasn’t there at the moment, but his shadow was. It waved.
"Hello Shadow. Where is my strawberry twizzler?" She giggled.
It held It’s hand to it’s chest in mock offense, before producing a small note saying that he’d remembered an errand he had to run real quick. With a couple of deals to be made along the way, of course.
She rolled her eyes. "Did he at least get the carrying bag for Angel's date?"
With a flourish, the bags seemed to appear out of thin air as it presented them to her as if they were a new car. You could almost imagine it saying “Tah-dah!!”
She laughed. "Thank you Mr. Show and tell. C'mere for a minute."
It gave a bow before walking over curiously.
She gestured for it to bend down and once it did, she gave it a peck on the shadowy cheek. "You are honestly one of Al's best workers and confidants. Never forget that." She smiled.
It shuffled its feet, if a shadow could blush, it would be blushing furiously.
She giggled. "Where are our girls? I need to give this to Theressa."
It made an extravagant gesture to the hall leading to the living room.
"Are the boys there at least?"
It gave a confirming nod.
"Are the girls dressed in sexy clothes?" She smiled mischievously.
It waved its arms in front of it as if to say, “No way in Hell was I looking!”
She laughed. "That's not what I meant! I was about to say, if they are, are the boys flustered?"
Its grin widened in that impossible manner. It was answer enough. Most definitely.
She grinned evilly along with it. "Hehehehe~ good! Let's go!"
The shadow hid in hers as she made her way to the livingroom. Once she was there, she was delighted to see the boys still blushing.
Theressa was wearing a choker styled mid length white dress with black polka dots and frills in layers that flowed when she walked and it accentuated her chest and waist. Showing off her thick sexy lower legs.
Juniper… she wore a semi short black sleeveless dress that hugged her thick and well built body and large chest while wearing black stockings that showed off her legs.
To say that the boys couldn't take their eyes off of them would be an understatement.
Janette fake coughed loudly to get the couple's attention.
"I have your stuff for the outdoor theater. Ready to go?"
Theressa got up from the couch to grab the bag. She checked it out and smiled. "This is perfect. Thank you Janette. Let's go Angel!"
“R-right.. Coming… Hey when Michelle is done playing with Lial and Ben, let her know I’ll be back to tuck her in, ok?” Angel asked.
Janette smiled happily. "Of course. You guys have a great time!"
Theressa was so touched at Angel's affection for the little ghost girl. "Awww~ Angel! You're so sweet!" She grabbed his hand and hugged it to her face and placed a gentle kiss on his palm.
He blushed heavily. He didn’t know how to react. “Th-thank you..!”
She giggled as she entwined her hands with his as they walked out to the car with Husk staring at Juniper's legs and ass as she walked. And Janette was almost certain that Juniper knew he was watching and strutted for him.
Janette laughed.
Alastor popped in with a bag in hand. “I’ve retrieved those items you requested this morning!”
Janette grabbed the bag and saw several pregnancy tests and a… book?
"What to expect when you're expecting?"
*Got the name idea from Unexpected. A Flower fell story*
She gave Al a smile and a curious brow.
“What can I say, we should be prepared for little ones even if there are no little ones.” Alastor replied. “How was Shadow? Entertaining I hope?”
She giggled. "Yes. He's quite the showman. He did a good job." The Shadow leapt from hers to back to Al in salute.
Al chuckled. “I expect nothing less from myself. I am a world of entertainment~” He purred.
Janette blushed and hooked her arms around his neck. "Yes you are~ My sweet Strawberry Buckeroo~." She pecked him on the lips.
He chuckled. “Why am I always compared to a strawberry?” He kissed her deeply.
"Mmm~" she giggled in the kiss. "Well it doesn't help when you dress in all red~."
He pondered this. “My~ I suppose you are right~. Shall we take this to the bedroom~?”
She giggled as she blushed deep red. "You just want to make sure that I'll have a positive on the tests~" she squealed as he picked her up bridal style.
“Perhaps~” He replied as he walked her to the bed and closed the door with magic.
Again Alastor made sure that no one heard them during the entire night. Although that didn't stop Charlie from seeing how Alastor was intimate in the foyer. She squealed in happiness at the ship that had sailed. And Vaggie kissed her girlfriend in congratulations.
