Julien began to consider how this date would not be awkward while waiting at their meeting location. The first date is the most important.
He racks his head and suddenly recalls a passage from a book he read before that states, "Don't hide falsehoods with your love." "My interpretation of that word is, to be honest to oneself," he mumbled.
You must first accept yourself before you can accept other people in your life. This sounded ridiculous!
So this is love, huh? That's so clichéd.
Meanwhile, Vel'Krim and his partner are monitoring Julien and his friend from a large apartment in the middle of the central area. "[SoulSet: Chase Destiny] is handy, and those two lovebirds... It's like I'm witnessing a love story, haha!" Vel'krim said, his voice raspy.
"Was it a waste employing that skill? You can only use it five times, and this is the fourth," Sil remarked in his misty grey appearance.
"It's not exactly a waste. I need to keep an eye on him. The link between master and apprentice is insufficient for this. Keeping him safe will benefit both of us. "I believe he is an important character from the past and will be in the future," Vel'krim stated.
Sil mist figure just swayed and said nothing.
Returning to Julien and Niana's meeting site, the sun is shining brightly and there are no clouds in the sky. The sound of vehicles and the passing train reverberates throughout the area. Julien is standing near an outpost, looking at his phone.
It's almost 9:50 a.m., and Niana hasn't arrived, nor has she left a message.
"Did she dump me? Should I contact her? I'm worried that something has happened; definitely, I should call her."
Julien swiped up his phone and began searching for Niana's social media page, "No post or update" I will call her.
Julien started ringing the phone. Brrr, the sound of ringing is reverberating in his thoughts, and he is tensing up. After a few rings, a young woman with a lovely voice answers.
"Julien! Hello, are you already there?" Her voice is fairly high-pitched as if she is frantic, and there is a trace of discomfort in her voice.
She huffed instead of waiting for Julien's reaction. She swiftly followed up with, "Julien, I had a little mishap and I'm still in my place," she said quietly.
Accident? Don't be concerned about me. I'm going to your place right now.
While talking to Niana, he moves a few meters and waves his hands up to catch a taxi.
"What happened? Are you hurt? Did you call the cops?" he continued.
Niana, on the other hand, is blushing. Julien's worry is unusual for her.
"No worries, it's not like some type of disaster involving the cops," she said quickly, "I simply stumbled down the stairs and lost my balance."
She got lost and stumbled because she was rushing to get to the meeting place, but she didn't say anything about it.
She then continued. "Don't worry, I just injured my left foot; I just can't walk properly and need to rest for a while."
Julian said, "I'm sure you didn't eat either, do you have anything in mind to eat?" before adding, "I hope nothing is fractured. I'll bring an ice pack and first aid kit here."
On the other end of the phone, Niana is pleased and says, "Let's eat our favorite pizza and chicken."
"All right, I'll get that for you; anything else?" Julien said.
"Thank you, Julien, that's all," Niana said over the phone, still flushed.
"Don't bring it up; I'll see you later; I'll be there in about 30 minutes."
"OK, take care, and bye."
Julien hangs up the phone with, "Bye." He's now lost in thought while gazing out the window.
After looking at him for two minutes, the cab driver broke out of his stupor and inquired, "Hey, sir, where are we going?"
G-green leaf Condominium, and after that, let's go via a drive-through because this restaurant is on the way, Julien snapped.
The driver laughed and replied, "OK."
