The paramedics carried Felix’s body off the field. Coach left too because he had to be with a player when they are injured until the parents arrived. So he left the team in the hands of the assistant coach. I was pissed that Felix was calling out for Trevor. Out of anyone Felix would want to ride with him he had to want Trevor. I thought I knew who Felix was, but in reality, I really didn’t. It turned out that my best friend since childhood was gay. It really made me think about all those sleepovers we had together was he looking at me like that. I was still shaken up by what Felix said to me. Sure I was upset with him and I didn't like the idea of him being gay but I would have never wanted him to get hurt like this. The game continued on. Even without Felix, we were able to win. Don't get me wrong it would have been better if Felix was here. He was a good player and the team looked towards his leadership. Even the seniors on the team listened to what he said. So it hurt the whole team's morale that he got hurt. As the game went on I thought about the conversation between the Glandale guys and Felix.

Those guys at Glandale seem to know Trevor. Maybe after the game, I will see what these guys know about Trevor.  I hit the shower and got changed fast I then ran to the guest locker room. As I was about to enter a guy walked out. 

“What do you want? You not here to gloat are you,” He asked.

 “No, I'm not here to do that. I saw you talking earlier to our team captain you know the guy your team flattened on the field. I was just wondering what you were talking about,” I asked 

He just smiled and looked back at me. “Nothing much just trying to give the guy a heads up about Trevor Smith,” He asked.

“Why would you warn him about Trevor,” I asked

“Simple because Trevor is a disgusting fag,” He said. His voice was full of hate. This guy really hated Trevor. Sure I didn't like Trevor because of how close he was to Felix but the guy seemed to hate him more than me.

“So you know about Trevor being gay,” I said. I was shocked.

"Yeah, the whole school knows. The disgusting freak threw himself at me," The guy said.

“He did,” I said. I was pretty surprised. Trevor didn't seem like the person to do that. Sure he would respond back when we taunted him, but other than that I thought he was too shy to do something bold like that.

“Yeah, that's why I was giving your friend a heads up. Thought he would want to know before Trevor tries something on him as well. Look dude I would just try and make sure that Trevor stays away from your friend. Because who knows what that homo did to your friend. But I don't think he will take my advice because he is fag too,” He said.

"What did you say," I snapped.

"It's obvious he is interested in Trevor. He lost his shit when saw me and my friends talking to him. I guess Trevor must have turned him gay," He said.

"What do you mean," I said.

"Come on think about it was your friend acting like this before Trevor moved here," He said.

"No, he didn't," I said.

"Then Trevor must have done something to make him act like this right," He said

“You're right. Thanks, I will keep that in mind,”  I said. What he was saying had me believing that Trevor must have done something to Felix to make him act like this. It’s all Trevor's fault.

“Names Liam by the way later,” Liam said walking away. I thought about what this Liam guy said. It all made sense. If Trevor was the type of person to throw himself on guys then who knows what else is capable. Maybe he did do something to Felix. All I knew is that at school on Monday I am going to make Trevor's life hell for whatever he has done to make Felix act like this.
