"I’m begging you to let me go, please… "
“But… What about me?” I asked
“I’m sorry.”
I whispered, “Go, be happy.”
“Thank you.” She responded with a smile plastered on her face.
I smiled, “Just remember that you can always come back to me, okay?”
“Yes.” She walks away.
“I’ll always wait for you to come back.” I whispered to myself.

SOLANA
I was in a deep sleep when I heard a knock, and I was immediately pushed back from my sleeping position. The knocking temporarily ceased, and I felt my surroundings while gazing up at my room's ceiling. I sat on my bed as soon as I heard a loud band playing outside my door.I instantly sat down on my bed after hearing a loud band outside my door, followed by my mother's voice.
“Solana Hestia!” She yelled from outside. I got to my feet right away and unlocked the door. I walked outside right away to find out why my mom was yelling at me. “Do you constantly need to be woken up in the morning?”
“What’s happening?” I responded while rubbing my eyes.
She raised a brow, “You’re already late for school.”
“Why didn’t you wake me up earlier?” I returned to my room to brush my teeth and take a shower as soon as I heard those remarks. I hurriedly took a shower, and as soon as I was done, I left my room to have breakfast. I went to the kitchen after leaving the room, sat down at the table in the chair, and silently started to eat.
I nibbled into the toast, “Why didn’t you wake me up earlier?”
“I am waking you, you just sleep like oil.” She responded.
“Where’s dad?” I asked and lifted my gaze to her. She averted her eyes from me and stared at the table as if she was dejected. “Let me guess, he didn’t come home, right?”
She smiled sadly at me, “Yes.”
I chose not to respond and instead hastened to finish my meal before leaving for school. After I finished eating, I took my stuff and bid goodbye to my mom. I didn't waste any time and left the house right away to go to school, even though I might be late. I almost sprinted to school just to catch up on the first subject. I should absolutely get an alarm clock so that I can get up early.
“Sol!” I didn't even bother to look at the person who was calling me and kept walking. I recognized that voice and chose to ignore it. “Solana!”
I felt them rush up to me and wrap their arms around me. I couldn't breathe properly as a result, so I tried to break free from their clutches. “Oh my god, Michael Louize. I swear, you will be the cause of my death.”
They rolled their eyes, “Ew, don’t call me that. I’m Michaela.”
“I thought you could only be Michaela at night?” They snorted as a result of what I said. I resumed walking, and they voluntarily followed me. It made me realize we were walking together while out walking. They normally arrive at school considerably earlier than I do. “Milo, what time is it?”
He checked his watch on his right wrist to see what time it was, “6:49 am.” When I realized my mother had duped me yet again, I exclaimed loudly. Milo glanced at me, puzzled, and eventually laughed when he realized why. “Wow, you've fallen into your mother's trap again.”
I began to walk quickly in order to get to school on time. Milo and I continued to argue and squabble until we arrived at school. I also informed them of my meeting with Sel and what moments in my life have we missed in the last several days. We went straight to our building and entered the room when we arrived at school. My classmates greeted us with louder voices than the speaker; each of them lives in their own world.
“Wow, Solana and Milo arrived at the same time! I'm surprised you showed up with Milo.” Amara, the class's most chatty member, stated. Some of our classmates looked at us, but I chose to ignore them and sat in my seat. Milo and Amara followed me right away; Milo sat next to me because that was their seat, while Amara sat in front of me. “Maybe you're in a relationship; you're not just telling us that.”
“Amara, you’re a gossip-monger. I’m also gay, you dumb bitch.” Milo responded, tucking their nonexistent hair behind their ear. Because of them, Amara and I laughed together. We continued to tease each other until our first subject's teacher arrived. We sat appropriately right away, as did the rest of our classmates.

Time flew by, and the bell rang, signaling the start of our break, but our teacher had yet to leave our room. When I looked around and saw the expressions on my classmates' faces, I immediately laughed because most of them were irritated, possibly due to hunger. Some of them wrote on a folder and whiteboards that it was already our break and slightly raised it to show our teacher.
Milo whispered to me, “Sol, I’m already hungry.”
“Me too.” I simply took out the bread that I had inside my bag. I opened it carefully so it wouldn't make a sound. I quickly divided it and gave half to Milo as I opened it.
I whispered, “Here, don’t let yourself get caught.”
His eyes widened and he eagerly accepted what was removed from my grasp. We ate in secret to avoid being discovered by the teacher, who refused to stop teaching. I noticed my classmates frowning in hunger and frustration. I giggled gently and resumed my covert eating. When a teacher knocked on our door, it was our teacher on physical education, Sir Pascua. Our teacher's attention was drawn to it, she approached it and inquired, “Yes, sir? Do you need something?“
He smiled, “Are you finished with your class? It’s already break time, let’s go to the cafeteria together.”
My classmates, particularly those at the back, quickly yelled, teasing our teacher. Our teacher was flustered and immediately scolded my classmates. She smiled at him, “Sure, I’ll just say goodbye to my students.”
"Goodbye students, see you next week," she said to us. She quickly gathered her belongings and exited, smiling at Sir Pascua, who was waiting for her outside the chamber, leaning against the railings. My classmates yelled, and I'm not sure if it's because they admire our teachers or because they can eat.
Milo, Amara, and I got up right away to head to the cafeteria; while walking, Amara suddenly spoke. “Do y’all think Sir Pascua and Miss Lorenzo are dating?”
Milo responded, “Girl? Don’t tell me you still have a crush on Sir Pascua?”
“You like Sir Pascua?” I asked Amara, confused. Both Amara and Milo gazed at me at the same time. They both talked at the same time, “You didn’t know?”
"Anyway, you don't even realize that Liam likes you," Amara said jokingly.
"Who's Liam?" I inquired, tilting my head slightly. Milo gently tapped my shoulder and said, "Girl, Liam. The handsome grade 11 stem student."
“You don’t know who Liam is? He’s pretty famous because of his looks.” Amara stated.
“Should I ask you if I know, you two are idiots?” I rolled my eyes. We kept walking till we arrived at the cafeteria. We immediately lined up to buy food and find a seat. While eating, the three of us argued and shared the food we bought. We intended not to buy the same dish so we can have different varieties of dishes. When a group of pals entered the cafeteria, the noise level increased.
“Hi, Liam.” The girl greeted.
The potato looking guy smiled, “Hi.” He rolled his eyes inside the cafeteria and cast a glance at our table; I just kept eating and ignored what was going on.
“He’s walking towards our table.” Milo whispered to us. I ignored what he said and continued to enjoy our food, yum. Milo slightly kicked my legs under the table.
“What?” I looked at him and raised a brow. He used his muzzle to gesture at the man behind me. Looking behind me, I was puzzled by what he was pointing at. The potato looking guy greeted me, “Hi.”
“I don’t have coins, ask someone else instead to give you some.” After saying that, I proceeded to eat.
The potato looking guy smiled at me, “No, I’m not asking you to give me coins.”
“I’m into girls.” I told him.
Amara coughed, as if concealing her laughter, “I BURNED our rice earlier,” she said emphasizing the word burned. Milo coughed and hid their faces in his hands.
“Really? I only had TOASTED bread earlier since I’m too lazy to eat rice.” Milo understood the assignment and emphasized the word toasted. I just looked at both of them and shook my head.
“Ah, really? I’m also into girls, especially with the name Solana.” He smiled like a deceased dog. I stood up as soon as I finished eating and pulled Amara and Milo out of the cafeteria, who had also finished eating. We walked out of the cafeteria, I even heard the potato looking guy calling my name. “Solana!”
Amara and Milo burst out laughing, even held their tummies because of what the potato looking guy said. Milo spoke while copying the potato looking guy’s voice, “Ah, really? I also like girls, especially with the name Solana.”
I couldn't help and just started laughing due to their tone and voice. “That potato looking guy is annoying.”
“Potato looking guy.” Amara repeated and laughed again. Because there was still time before our next subject, the three of us decided to hang out on the bench near the court. Amara and Milo continued to mock the potato looking guy, we also talked about random things until the bell rings.
“Sol, Milo, let’s go home together later.” Amara suggested.
“Sure.” Milo and I said in unison.
“Let’s wander around the mall.” Milo said, convincing us. We started to walk towards our classroom. While walking, Amara responded, “Sure, I’ll look for some new books.”
“I’m down, I’ll just give my mom a call later.” I said.
We entered the room almost simultaneously with our teacher as we got to the building. After we stopped walking around and sat in our chairs, our next teacher, Miss Martinez, our math teacher, immediately began lecturing. Miss Martinez is pleasant and knowledgeable, she’s also pretty, so I'm confident I'll be able to persevere until the end of class.

When we finished our class and exited the building, I took out my phone to call my mother. I started our chat by calling her, and she answered right away. “Hello, mom. I’m gonna hang out with Milo and Amara.”
“Sure, make sure to come home before dinner. I cooked your favorite dish.” She responded.
“Okay, mom. Bye, love you.” I responded.
“Love you too, take care.” She didn't wait for my response and promptly hung up the phone.
We began heading to the mall while the two were still bickering and becoming agitated. I wouldn't be surprised if they become a couple in the future. It might be impossible since Milo is more feminine than Amara, motherfucker would even shriek in fear because of a fucking cockroach. “You two look good together.”
“The fuck? Ew.” Milo said while cringing.
Amara frowned, “Ew, I think my backbone tingles.”
“Honey, just shut your mouth.” Milo rolled his eyes at me which caused me to laugh. I noticed a familiar female stance while traveling around the mall. I had to squint to see it well. I noticed a familiar tall girl with brunette hair, It’s Sel!
“Sel!” I dashed over to her and gave her a back hug. Milo and Amara immediately followed me.
Sel turned to me and returned the hug, “Sol.”
I never imagined we'd meet at an unexpected event...is this what they mean by destiny? Just kidding.
