Throughout the past 10 years, have me and Lex been here.  Time and time again have we done some training with the vessel and his twin.  His name is Alexzander, and the name of his twin is Hinata.  “Lex, it does seem odd that Rin would just all of sudden disappear like that.”  Lex, as normal was too busy doing something else to sincerely care or so I imagined.  He gazed at me, with a face reporting to me I was wrong.  “Did you not notice the letter that was left for him?”  As Lex mentioned that, it came flying back to me. He was another forced into the cores tournament, I suppose he only left to get a head start.  Yet still, something felt strange about this.  This night would confirm it all...  Alexzander alongside his sister had heard a scream.  As Alexzander gradually walked out, with his sword in hand he had witnessed his mother, with her long black hair immersed in blood.  An ax inside her spine and a masked man. Alexander had charged at the man out of pure rage, however, the man had caught the sword with ease.  “Now then, it’s my turn heh..”  The man had seized the sword and slammed it into the ground until it broke.  But instead of normally breaking, it split in half so did Alexzander…  What it had exposed with Lex and Amber as the man had taken out a lantern.  As he pressed a button, a haze had emerged...  As I fell asleep.  What awoke me was Lex’s yelling.  “Damnit, where the hell did that scoundrel go?!”  A good question, where could he have gone?  "I swear, I'll kill the bastard no matter how long it takes."  "I'll chase him to the ends of this cursed planet if I have to just so I can avenge her!"  I could feel Lex's passion within his rage, as I began to sob.  I decided to try to hold back my tears as hard as I could, but alas I couldn't.  They had discharged out like a waterfall.  As I ran out of the house into a local forest.  The moment I walked in, I was sucked into a cube-shaped core!  "What the..?"  What I saw ahead of me was a labyrinth filled with water.  I had swum through it, uncaring if I'd drown.  "Human, you've made it through this maze but I'm afraid to collect this core you have to defeat me!" I saw a half-human half-shark creature, as he tried to attack me with his sword, with spikes all around it.  I had jumped into a roll, before getting up and striking his leg with my sword! However, he seemed not to care. "What a foolish human, thinking they could actually defeat me."  "Actually, even being able to strike me... Quite a surprise so I'll allow you to have my core."  "Thou hast completed my puzzle and defeated me.  For this, I grant thou my power from the deepest parts of the sea.  The water core belongs to thy from now on." 

Hopefully, you've been enjoying the book so far.  So, you might be wondering why I'm here.  Well, every chapter there is one character card giving a brief explanation.  So let's get into it!

Appearance: She has long orange hair.  She wears a fancy white dress with an amber gemstone in the middle.  Her eyes are bright red and are slim.  She wears white flipflops.

All of a sudden, she was blinded.  When the blindness ended, she was back within the forest.  As a short man with a pompadour approached her.  "Hello there, hopefully, someone as cute as you aren't hurt."  I had gotten up fast, slapping him out of anger.  "Ugh, is the only reason you're helping me because I am a woman?!"  The man didn't appear to care.  "I'm afraid that doesn't matter as it stands."  "Anyhow, I am Isaiah Clackson I am a traveling chef coming fromneither Shiro or Yami" I gazed at him annoyed.  "Do you truly imagine that matters?!  You're literally just here out of your simple lust!" Even then the man didn't seem to care.  "Sorry about that, I would never wanna offend someone as cute as you...  I shall now join you as your personal chef."  It seemed odd, why would a chef come here?  "I have a question, why come to Shiro instead of Yami considering that according to my research they have more unique food..."  "Well, the thing is Shiro as a country is a lot closer to where I come from."  The man explained.  "Another thing is, Shiro as a country is better for people who've never been in the Cores Tournament.  As the fighters are a lot softer, heck even the core monsters are."  Amber and Isaiah had headed off into the forest to explore.
