When they finally reached the base after the mission they see someone or something in the shadows of the base. And with seeing the shadow they approached it slowly and with that strong but firm voice they figured it was the boss even without seeing the dark figure's face. 

Boss: congratulations on completing the mission everyone 

Everyone: thank you 

Boss: now Paris I would like to see the documents you gathered from hero company 

Paris: ok(pulls the documents out of a bag) here you go 

Boss: now everyone go into the lobby i have a surprise for you all 

And just as the boss ordered they all went to the lobby and their eyes were met with food. Chinese take-out to be specific but food nonetheless. Veronica and Anthony then went to go get the plates, bowls, spoons, and forks. And at the same time the boss goes and puts the documents in his office to then join everyone in the lobby who was frozen in shock. And the boss was very confused about how everyone was so shocked. 

Boss: why are you all so shocked over food have you guys not eaten before 

Paris: I didn't think you would do it

Boss: I never back out on my word except one time when I was younger but that's about it 

And before anyone could say anything Veronica and Anthony came back with everything. Everyone took a plate or bowl with a utensil and started eating the food and having discussions so Paris brought up what the boss said earlier.

Paris: so boss what did you mean earlier when you said you never go back on your word except that one time when you were younger 

Boss: nothing i meant nothing 

Paris: it sure didn't sound like nothing 

Boss: fine there was a time when i was younger I told someone a promise and I broke it 

Paris: that was vague but I will take it 

The boss then left the lobby and went to his office to look over the documents, one of which was about a certain Pro- hero fire blade. Which he ripped up and threw in the trash. And the rest of the villains finished their food and went to go get their pay from this mission which ended up being roughly $5,000 for each person on the mission. After getting their pay everyone changed into their civilian clothes and left the base in their own separate directions.
