When they all finally returned to the base the boss handed them their paychecks of  $1,000 each for the mission. 

Zachary:  you know with this money imma get takeout 

Veronica: don't forget to get me fried rice 

Zachary: ok I won't forget, anything you want Mariposa 

Luna: umm yeah I would like fried chicken 

Zachary: ok noted 

Anthony: you better get me noodles  

Paris: and don't forget my cheese sticks 

Zachary: ok, ok now I'm going to order

Then Zachary left the room and went into the hallway to order the food which arrived 30 minutes later. But there was something on Luna's mind so she turned to Veronica and asked her question. 

Luna: so Veronica who was that guy you were talking to at the boat dock

Paris: yeah, who is he 

Veronica: he's an old friend 

Paris: you sure that was just an old old friend 

Veronica: yes , he's an old friend basically a brother to me 

Luna: you know what they say childhood friends to lovers is a popular trope 

Veronica: oh shut it you guys 

Luna: ok, ok i will for now 

They all laughed and then ate the takeout that arrived in the meeting room. And not long after eating Luna said bye to everyone and left the base. 

Paris:  i think the boss made the right choice of adding Mariposa to team 

Zachary: i agree 

The other two: same here 

Meanwhile back at the hideout Luna goes to her laptop and starts writing her report for the hero company, but while doing so she gets an email notification and it reads. 

To Solar Eclipse: 

     In 2-3 weeks we will be holding a gala with sponsors to help the hero company to fund inventions and to fund for hero costume upgrades. And it will be held in the old academy near the hero company surrounded by greenery about 4 miles southeast from the hero company.

After reading the email Luna went back to writing her report because there is no way she can attend the gala and be undercover at the villain base at the same time. And just as she thought that she got an email from the villain boss stating that there's a meeting for just Paris's team in 2 days. So she marked a reminder in the calendar and then finished writing her report. And as the hours passed by Luna went to her room and fell asleep. 

The day of the meeting 

Luna made it to the villain base but she heard a familiar voice behind her. 

The voice: surprised to see you here mariposa you're normally here earlier than me 

Luna then turns around and automatically notices the voice was Paris because of his white hair. 

Luna: I'm also surprised to see you here your normally fashionably 2 hours late 

Paris: well I'm not about to look like i just woke up in a dumpster for a meeting now am i 

Luna: I doubt it, you have good fashion sense but your attitude needs some work 

Paris: ok rude 

Luna: I'm kidding , so are we going to go to the meeting or are you going to keep arguing 

Paris: ok fine you win this round but i will seek my revenge(he said as he walked to open the door) 

Luna then followed Paris and they both entered the meeting room. 

Villain boss: Mariposa and Paris take a seat 

They both found 2 empty chairs and took a seat. 

Villain boss: I have another mission for you guys 

Zachary: already damn 

Villain boss: yes, but reason you guys are getting this mission is because you guys are young enough to pull it off

Paris: ok so what's the mission 

Villain boss: in 2-3 weeks time the heroes are holding a gala and i need you guys to infiltrate the gala and steal a USB drive they have in the server room that connects to every digital file with information on every hero that works for them including the retired heroes and you are to deliver it to me when the gala finishes

Anthony: do we know know what the USB looks like 

Villain boss: actually we do, it looks a sapphire jewel and it should be connected to server box 

Veronica: how do you know all of this 

Villain boss: because last time this mission was done the team team that did it failed and got killed so I hope you guys don’t fail me like the last team did 

After saying that he left the meeting room leaving the team with a little bit of stress. 

Veronica: so what even is the gala ,is it like a fun thing they do or is it something else 

Anthony: (pulls out a laptop from a drawer in the desk)  I found it, turns out it’s to gather sponsors so they can do hero costume upgrades

Zachary: cool but now we need to prepare outfits for this mission which is easy for you Paris because you literally live and breathe suits

Paris: true but if i wear one of my own suits i will be easily recognizable 

Luna:  don’t forget the white hair that make you stand out 

Paris: I know but I have a plan for that 

After figuring out the possible outfits they were going to wear to the gala they all left the meeting room and waited in the lobby for Anthony who went into the kitchen to make food. And about 2 hours later Anthony came out of the kitchen with flour on his face and shirt. 

Paris: Anthony what happened to you, you look filthy 

Anthony: you have no clue how hard it is to make pasta from scratch 

Veronica: does that mean the food is finished 

Anthony:(sigh) yes Veronica the food is finished 

Veronica: yes finally 

Then Veronica runs to the kitchen pushing Anthony out of the way. Which caused his body to get pushed hard into the door frame. 

Anthony: rude 

Veronica: sorry but you were in the way of me and my one true love pasta 

Zachary: exactly you should know how much she loves pasta(he says as he walks to the kitchen) 

They then ate pasta and hours later they parted their own separate ways. 

Five days later

Luna went to the villain base and was late for the first time because everyone was there before her. 

Villain boss: so i need guys to go into your own separate fitting rooms and pick out which outfit you best 

Everyone: ok

So they all go to the rooms with their names on it and Luna goes into the room that says Mariposa. And in the room Luna picks out a black dress from all the dresses she’s presented with. 

The day of the gala

Everyone actually made it to the base at the same time so they all went to the fitting rooms and changed. Luna was the first one out with her black dress, Veronica then came out wearing a light pink dress, Zachary then came out in a tuxedo with just a button up ,striped tie, and a vest. Anthony then came out but wasn’t dressed up. And Paris came out an hour later almost unrecognizable with his hair being the color black which helped his golden eyes be more noticeable. With them all changed they headed to the van and the villain boss joined them this time in an all black tuxedo with silver accents. Then they all headed to the gala and when they arrived they entered the building noticing all the different heroes and sponsors who attended the gala.

Villain boss: so when you guys finish the mission and when the gala is over meet me outside at the van 

Everyone: ok boss

Then they all entered the building fully except Anthony who entered from the kitchen in a new looking tux. Then everyone separated into different areas on the first floor.
