Athena wakes up in the morning of the gala and heads to the kitchen for her annual cup of coffee to start her day. After a few minutes her coffee was done and Ciara then started walking down the steps and into the kitchen. 

Ciara: how do you think Luna's doing being undercover and all 

Athena: she probably got captured by now forgetting to keep her identity a secret 

Ciara: can you try to think positively 

Athena: ok fine, she's probably doing perfectly fine(she says this in a very sarcastic tone) but you on the other hand need to get ready and try on the constellation dress you got for the gala 

Ciara: ok mom i will 

A couple hours later Ciara came out of her room in a blue dress with golden constellation accents on the dress. And Athena who wore a black dress which was short in the front and long in the back went to give Ciara a hug when she saw her and then they both headed outside to the car that was waiting for them and headed to the gala. 

Ciara: do you think Luna will be at the gala 

Athena: well she's doing a mission right now so I highly doubt it 

Ciara: I know but I miss her, i want to know if she's ok 

Athena: then stop worrying you don't need to be stressed before the gala plus you need to look presentable for the sponsors ok 

Ciara: ok(she says in a sad tone) 

Athena: don't forget to smile for the cameras when we arrive 

Ciara: I won't forget mom

Athena: now that's the perfect daughter I know and love 

A few minutes pass by and they enter the gala at the same time as a group of people come out of a van but she rushed into the building with Ciara so she didn't see their faces. When she finally entered the building Ciara left her to talk to her friends. A few hours later Athena left Ciara talking to some sponsors and headed up to the second floor of the building and while walking she heard a familiar voice that she hasn't heard for the past 13 years so she stops and opens the door. 

Athena: A-Aiden 

The tall figure that was wearing an all black tux with silver accents then turned around and faced her taking the shadow away from his face with the simple move of his hand over his face as if wiping his face of water. 

Tall figure: Athena long time no see how long was it again oh yeah 13 years 

Athena: Aiden i can't believe your alive after all these years 

Aiden: well anyone would be surprised if their husband just appeared out of nowhere after being missing for 13 years 

Athena: but then why didn't you inform the hero company that you were alive 

Aiden: because I don't want to be a hero anymore, i have joined the villains in an attempt to change the hero society 

Athena: but why 

Aiden: because they understand me, because it was my only choice, my only way to get through to the heroes 

Athena: damn, and what happened to your hand your missing a pinky 

Aiden: oh the pinky missing that was caused by the heroes, heroes like you 

Athena: but I'm not like those other heroes i never hurt you 

Aiden: you know for some reason I don't believe you 

Athena: fine you don't have to believe me but at least tell me what your doing here of all places 

Aiden: I'm here in charge of a group of young villains who need to bring me a USB by the time this gala finishes 

Athena: so you really have turned to the villains 

Aiden: yes is that so hard to believe but can i at least have a hug for old times sake 

Athena: ok fine one last hug 

As they hugged, Aiden let go of one hand and reached for a knife that was in his pocket and stabbed Athena 3 times in the back leaving the knife in her back on the last stab. And with each stab Athena felt a sharp pain yet a burning sensation at the same time but in the end she fell to the ground with her vision only seeing Aidens shoes face her while feeling her blood drip from her back to the ground. 

Aiden: it was nice seeing you after all these years and I'd like to say i love you but I don't want the last words you hear to be a lie 

And as she was laying on the ground she saw his shoes turn to walk away. With the feeling of her blood continuing to trickle down her back to the ground where she lay her eyes began to feel heavier and heavier until she eventually closed her eyes and saw a bright flash of light which then helped her ascend into nothingness.
