“SUN! Look out!” I dropped to the ground, narrowly avoiding the Scythe of the Lord Reaper. I looked up in time to watch Analise’s large Warhammer slam into the ground shattering the rock. She tsked and swung her hammer over her shoulder, watching the rest of the team attack and doge.
“How’d you convince us to do this?” She asked me, helping me up. Her thick Scottish accent showed her ire. I grinned at her and swiped the hair out of my eyes, “The Gold and Glory?” I half answer and ask. She huffs, then shrugs, nodding.
“Well then, let's get to it,” She smirked at me before releasing a startling loud battlecry charging in to join the fray.
A Man in large bulky dark green armor slammed a giant shield into the ground calling out “Forest Protection!” Thick Vines shot up from the ground in front of him, blocking the dark magic of the reaper.
A young girl popped into existence above the man tossing a blue bottle that shattered on his armor, releasing a healing potion. She landed on top of his shield, crouched like a cat, then leaped into the air disappearing again.
A gold and Red Tiger roared and sent a powerful wave of sound at the reaper, pushing him back.
We could do this. I was confident in my team. I raised my hand, ready to cast my spell and join the fight.
