“I’m so sorry Artemis” Apollo says. “I promise I don't wanna marry your partner” Apollo continues. It is about 2 hours after the broadcast as Apollo and Artemis were not able to escape the filming area as fast as I was. They just arrived in my room and Apollo is apologising profusely to both of us, though this is not his fault. Honestly I don't really know what to think except that I’m so sorry to both of them, especially Artemis, they don’t deserve this, they deserve much better than to be roped up in my royal nonsense.  

“I’m so sorry Artemis, if I had known what my dad was planning I would have tried to stop it, or at least given you a warning, I know that it would be very hard to be with you outwardly because of the fact that we are both assigned female at birth but I thought I had more time, and that I at least would not be with Apollo your fucking twin brother.” Artemis tries to cut in but I continue talking. “And you Apollo, I’m so so sorry, I know that you never wanted to get married and that you wanted a life out of everything and to escape, if you marry me that will never be possible for you, you will always be in the royal spotlight, which however much you act like you love the attention you always wanted a simple life with minimal public issues''. I try to keep talking, at this point I’m basically bawling my eyes out and I can feel small sparks starting to shoot out of my head, but Artemis stops me, hugging me in the process, probably feeling a little zap. 

“Aki please stop, you know that I don’t blame you at all, and even though a warning would have been nice it is completely out of your control, this is not your choice.” Apollo cuts in, “yeah Aki this isn't your fault, and due to my parents it's not like I was gonna be able to get full freedom even if I wasn't gonna marry you, sometimes you seem to forget that me and Atremis come from the richest family in Cavince, not including the royals, we are basically just as stuck as you are”. When did Apollo gain all this maturity? 

At this point I've calmed down enough to stop shooting sparks, and Artemis switches to just holding my hand, one of our go-tos. I can’t believe I lost control of my tiff for a minute there. I can’t let that happen again, it's way too dangerous.

“I promise I wont do anything to Aki, so try not to worry Art. I will do my best to avoid any physical contact of any sort in public, especially anything to do with our mouths, eww just the thought of kissing them makes me feel bad, no offence Aki” Apollo states, originally talking to Artemis. “You better avoid physical contact, we all know how I feel about that, I guess having distant parents has one or two pros” I respond. “That’s the one thing I'm not worrying about Apollo, I trust you and Aki, but also your aro ace and not exactly a big fan of those sort of interactions so even if you would not be helping Aki cheat on me you still would not be interested,” Apollo nods in agreement “no matter how much you flirt. I know this isn't some fake dating fanfic where the fake couple ends up together, this is real life, and we aren't fictional characters living through trauma for others content.” Artemis says lightening the mood.

No matter how many jokes are made I still don’t feel awesome, “I still wish that we had more control over the situation, but you guys are some of the best people to go through this with, imagine my parents found me some random suiter, I don’t know what we would have done. I wouldn't put that past my parents, though hopefully they would have at least given me a warning.” Just the thought gives me shivers, I think Artemis sees them cause she pulls her hand away, probably trying to be less of a personal AC, though I grab her hand, they were not cold shivers, that makes her smile, be it a bit confused. “Yeah, at least I can help you two with your relationship, and know ours is fake, imagine if they found someone who actually likes you” Apollo adds. “That would be horrible for so many reasons, you would have to act like a couple 24/7/365, which sounds terrible, and it would be a lot harder for you to see me and Apollo” Artemis adds on. 

“Anyway we need to make a plan, Ren, Izled, can you help with notes” Artemis starts, I guess we should probably figure out a plan, though we don't have much info. “We would be happy to, and just so you know we are here to help, I know we haven't said much since the reveal, personally I’ve been in a lot of shock, but we are happy to help you get to places to be together and warn you if anyone is coming or anything else of that nature” Ren says. “I mean we have already been doing that, Ren, but I’m happy to continue that as well, besides Artemis and Aki are a lot better pairing then Aki and Apollo, more compatible” Izled says, chuckling.

Artemis starts creating a plan with the help of the guards, me and Apollo are not much help, honestly we are still pretty frazzled, and we both trust them to make good choices for us. There isn't much to the plan and parts might need to be changed depending on how strict my parents are with me and Apollo. Hopefully they don't push us to do coupley stuff even when we are home with nobody, or minimal people watching. 

Here is Artemis and the guards official plan (well it's more of a list but it’s all they could manage with so little info)-

• Do as the King and Queen say

• Show affection only when necessary

• Be known as more of a secluded and modest couple, who is used to what they did before the announcement (hiding their partnership)

• Both parties can only publicly show romantic or sexual interest with eachother (no more flirting with everyone you meet Apollo)

• Try to behave as normal (before the announcement) possible 

• Try to bring Artemis along to events where Apollo must come due to him being Aki’s fiance

• Follow this story (unless King and Queen have a different story)

• Childhood friends who started dating around two years ago after slowly developing feelings for eachother

• King and Queen found out and after a long conversation and a personal proposal the announcement was decided

• Artemis knew and fully supported them

• Both Aki and Apollo are thrilled to be getting married as both have liked each other since childhood, though they were scared to confess

• Apollo finally confessed to Aki while they were on a secluded picnic in the castle grounds, that’s where they shared their first kiss, this is also when they started dating, they have stayed together for the full two years since, no breaks

• They both try go on a date or spend some one on one time at least once a week, though it can be difficult with busy schedules 

• Apollo enjoys making baked goods for Aki and often has them sample his newest creations, this is a regular date

Their ‘plan’ is pretty weak, if you can even call it a plan, but it's something. We will hopefully update it when we have more info. But that means talking to my parents, which I don't wanna do, so that info might take a bit.
