When I finished my plate, I felt full eating scrambled eggs, I rested myself on the chair and looked up at the dark brown ceiling. I felt relaxed. But right now I need to focus on what’s important and that's the information on how or where to find my sister, since that smiley demon said she’s alive here somewhere, it would mean she’s been here since 11 years ago or less so that’s enough to at least be known around here. If I show a picture of her they might recognize her.

So I did that

“Uhm.. by any chance have you guys seen a girl with pale yellow hair?” 

“Hmm, pale yellow hair? I’ve seen a couple but you need to specify which one” Uncle Yu replied

I opened my satchel and scavenge around inside, but what was once my sketchpad was now an old thick book with weird symbols of a huge triangle surrounding a circle and both of the shapes were cut perfectly in the middle by a single vertical line with one diamond on each end

“What’s wrong Sentrik– THAT’S THE DREAM DEMON SYM–” Reelthrine’s mouth got immediately shut closed by Uncle Yu

“Reelthrine don’t say that!!”

“Sorry Uncle I was surprised” Reelthrine apologized

“Why? What’s wrong?” I asked out of curiosity

“The dark smiling figure that gives us a curse and its name, is actually called the ‘dream demon’ he is the one who rules over Secrund, saying his name brings bad luck” Uncle Yu answered

“Oh..” I had no idea how I got this book nor do I care, I grabbed it by the spine and shook it till two photos was dropped down, I caught my sister’s photo while Reelthrine caught the partially burnt one

“Hey you dropped this” She handed over the burnt photo but I told her I didn’t need it so she took it and kept it safe

“This is her picture, her name is Catherine” I presented a picture of my sister. She had pale yellow long hair, her eyes were the color of sandy yellow, she also had a mole on her left lower eyelid

“She does look familiar” What Uncle Yu said made me ecstatic

‘Finally a clue!’

“Doesn’t she look like the Goddess of Aldibe’s Apostle??” Reelthrine pointed out

“Oh she does, doesn’t she?” 

“Goddess of Aldibe?”

“It’s the land completely opposite of Secrund, a land full of blessings and joy aka Aldibe! Every Accursed dreams of living in Aldibe but sadly only those who have been cured of their curse can go” Reelthrine turns her hand into a fist 

"Someday I'll find Uncle's and mine's cure so that both of us can live happily" and throws it into the air, full of courage and bravery

"You said that she looks like the goddess's apostle right? Can you specify where she is now?"

"I heard that the goddess's apostle travels around Secrund bringing hope to Accursed alike" Uncle Yu replied

"But honestly speaking, it's dangerous even for an apostle to do traveling, the only safe place in Secrund is here near the still sea, anywhere else may have dangers such as greater wolves and even some Accursed themselves" He continued

"Dammit.." I cursed under my breathe, if that were to be true then she'd be in danger right now

"Why do you want to find her, Sentrik?" Uncle Yu asked me

"She's…" 

'Should I even tell them?' I thought but as I looked at my wrist, Uncle Yu meticulously took care of it and I remembered how Reelthrine looked so worried for me…

"She's my older sister, that smiley demon told me that she was alive, so I followed what it told me and now I'm here" They were quite surprised on what I said but thankfully they didn't scream and shout

"That demon may have lured you here to become an Accursed but since you don't have a curse, maybe something went wrong?" Reelthrine said

“Maybe… but I have no choice but to believe what it said, then if what that demon said is true, I’ll be able to see her again..”

"I do hope you find your sister, Sentrik but it's best not to do that now, you're still new to Secrund, you're basically fragile" Uncle Yu was worried for me

"I'll go prepare the empty bedroom for you, please feel at home" Uncle Yu stood up from his chair and went to the door near the kitchen while all the time Reelthrine stared at me like a cat

"Wh-what?" I was hesitant, did I do something wrong?

"Nothing, it's just that we're friends now!" she gave me a big smile, her fangs were visible

"Yeah… wait.. but you dragged me here out of my will!" I exclaimed

"Hehe, but now since you're in my house and my uncle fed you, doesn't that mean we're already friends?" She accompanied those words with a stupid grin

"Euggh. You can call it that" 

"Gehee~ C'mon sentrik don't be shy~ we're practically besties now!"

"We're 'friends' NOT bests of friends" 

"Ooooh!! you said it!! Haha! we're friends!" She gave me a playful smirk and poked my shoulder a couple of times

"Shut up."
