*Flashback*

Me and Ethan were sitting in bed, just cuddling after a long day of work. I have been wanting to tell Ethan something, but, I wasn't sure how he would react. Because, he's always on tour. Ethan and his Best Friend Jutin are, they're both comedians and do shows together. But, out of the 6 years we've been together, kids have never been brought up. So, I just asked.

"Hey Ethan, I have a question. Do you ever think about wanting kids?" I asked him.

"I don't really think so, I'm always on tour and I would never be around. I just feel like, me having kids isn't a good idea." He said as I laid my head on his chest, and wiped a tear away.. I just found out I was pregnant 2 days ago, now I feel like I shouldn't tell him. So, I decided what would be best for me and my baby. This is probably one of the hardest things I had to do, I wiped a few more tears away and sat up.

"Can you go to the store and get some movies and popcorn?" I asked.

"Anything for you." He kissed my cheek and left. I began to cry, grabbed my suitcases and packed. I wrote Ethan a note, so he wouldn't worry.

'Ethan, I'm sorry, but I have to go. and it hurts me writing this. I love you so much, but I need some time to think about some things -Katelynn'

I was balling and then took off my engagement ring and placed it in the paper and left to the first available hotel. Im raising and having this baby alone.

*End of Flashback*

I was brought out of my thoughts by my 1 year old screaming.

"Peyton Isabel, enough!" I yelled and she quieted down. Today I was moving back to my old town, where my job was, family and friends. The movers loaded the last of my things onto the truck and I gave Pey some crackers and juice in her sippy and left.

-1 week later-

I was on my way to drop Peyton off at her grandmas house, Ethan's mom. Shes seen Peyton 12 times, because we lived far away. Now that I moved back out here, she will have her 5 days a week, while I'm at work. I walked in and saw Mama Laney.

"Theres a problem!" She freaked out.

"WHAT?" I asked.

"Ethans here, in the shower right now as we speak." She said picking up Peyton. "Hi grandma's baby." She said then gave her a kiss.

"Just say your babysitting and you do it 5 days a week, hasn't he been on tour with Justin" I said calm.

"BUT, SHE LOOKS JUST LIKE HIM!" She said wide eyed.

"I know" I said nervously

"What will happen when he finds out its yours?"

"Well, when and if that time comes, we will figure something out." I said giving Pey a kiss and left for work.

-The next day-

I'm going over to my friends house, everyone I used to hang with. I'm a little excited about it, I havnt seen my friends in over a year. Theres Justin who is Ethan best friend, then Lia and Sienna. They're like my sisters, I've missed them all. I still talked to them on the phone, but, it's not the same. Going and seeing them after all this time, is something I really need.

~Ethan's pov~

After being gone on tour for a year with Justin, Im glad to say that I'm actually happy to be home at my mom's. Once I got home Hazel was the first one to welcome me, like she always does. I started looking around the house to say hello to my mom and give her the flowers I got her, but, no one was home. Hazel came running to me being playful and wanted me to chase her, as I was chasing her she had ran into this room what I thought my mom used for storage. I walked in and my jaw just dropped, first thing I seen was a crib and above it was wooden block letters spelling out 'PEYTON' in purple letters. I start looking around at everything I walked over to her dresser and started looking through the draws. Once I opened the first drawer, my jaw just dropped seen, I seen a birth certificate sitting there 'Peyton Isabel James' was the name and she was born June 16th. I continued to read, what I read next made my heart drop, the mother was Katelynn Faith James. I looked threw the drawers and found a scrapbook. I began to go through the pages and all that was in there was pictures of Kate with a baby, and I'm pretty sure that had to be Peyton. There were hundreds of pictures, I sat down in the white and purple rocking chair that was next to the crib and look at more pictures. The next page had a letter that was from Kate to my mom

'HEY!

I miss you guys so much! Im writing to let you know we're moving back out there soon! Peyton and I miss you, can't wait! Love, Kate and Pey.'
