I woke up realizing it was Saturday. I walked over to the mirror and looked at myself. *You look awful* was the first thing that came to mind. I've been crying for the past few days. I suddenly heard Peyton. I grabbed her, fed her and then took her to the bathroom and gave her a bath. I got her in her clothes. A shirt that says 'If you think I'm cute you should see my mom.' along with leggings. I put her in her crib because it was time for her nap anyway.

I took a shower and got out and straightened my hair. I got dressed in a back V-neck with light washed jeans from hollister, and pulled on my converse. I then put on mascara only, waterproof of course.

I grabbed my purse, keys, phone, sunglasses and Peyton's diaper bag. I walked downstairs to put the stroller and diaper bag in the car and turned on the car. I went upstairs and got Peyton, who was still sleeping. I picked her up and walked downstairs, locking the door. I drove to the clinic. When I pulled up, I saw Ethan with Andrea, who I hear is his girlfriend now.

"Hey Kate, you ready?" Ethan asked.

"Sure." I said coldly and walked inside without Ethan. He ran after me. Andrea not with him, of course. "Where is your toy?"

"My girlfriend" he corrected, and then spoke again. "She had to go, she only came to wait.."

"That's cool.."

"Can I hold her?" He asked. I sighed. He is the father...

"yeah, sure." I shrug. I picked her up and handed her to Ethan. They began playing. She seemed to really like him.

"Peyton James." The nurse called out. We stood up and walked back to the room. The nurse took out a bunch of stuff and walked over to Ethan. "Open." She said and swabbed his mouth. She moved over to me and I opened my mouth and she swabbed. Then it was Peyton's turn and she got swabbed and she left. "You'll have the results by Monday." She said and walked out.

"Wanna go out to lunch?" He asked.

"Uh I'm not sure if we should.." I say looking down.

"Kate please, you're the one who left me, for no reason. I at least deserve an explanation." He says, getting angry.

"I CHEATED AND I COULDN'T SIT THERE AND LOVE YOU ANY LONGER." I said, angry. I grabbed Peyton and walked out. I went home.

-2 hours later-

I heard a knock. I opened the door, Ethan.

"Look, nothing about Peyton, cheating, I forgive you, I just really miss you, I have always missed you since you left." He looked down, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Ethan-" He cut me off

"I want a friendship." He shrugged.

"oh... okay.." I say. "Make yourself comfortable..." I point to the couch as I hear Peyton crying.

"I can get it, her, if you want." He offers. I'm so tired, so I don't mind.

"Sure, 2nd door on the left, right up the stairs."

-Ethan's pov-

I opened the 2nd door to the left. There was a white crib in the middle of the room. It was an all square one. There were pictures hanging up. One was my mom and Peyton, in the hospital room?? I picked up Peyton and changed her diaper. I looked around upstairs, in the hallway there was a picture of her and I. When we were still engaged, I was holding her and fireworks were going off behind us. I smiled. I put Peyton back to bed. I walked downstairs and saw that Kate had fallen asleep on the couch. I picked her up and took her up to her room, which also had some pictures hanging around. Of Peyton, her friends Lia, Sierra and Justin, some family, and another one of us. This picture is from our first date. Now this has me wondering? Did Kate actually cheat on me? I turned off the lights and shut her door. I saw how exhausted Kate was today, so I decided to help her out a little. I cleaned up the house, wiped down the counters and cleaned the floors. Once I was done, I locked her doors and headed home.

-Kate's Pov-

-1 hour later-

I woke up in my bed, quite confused because I remember falling asleep on the couch. I got up to go use the bathroom, downstairs. My upstairs bathroom is currently not working. But, I noticed my house was clean. And a note left on the counter, from Ethan. Telling me that he was the one who cleaned, I had the biggest smile on my face. Maybe moving back here wasn't so bad after all. I decided to text Ethan, to let him know how much I appreciated everything he did for me.

Kate-

Hey, I got up to use the bathroom and noticed everything you did . Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! I hope you have a nice rest of the night.

Ethan-

No problem. I saw how tired you were today. And you had fallen asleep, so I took you to your bed as well.

Kate-

That was so sweet of you. Thank you so much!

Ethan-

I also saw the pictures you had hanging around, in the halls and in your room. I like it.

I just smiled, and fell back asleep.
