-Ethan's pov-

February 20th, the worst day of my life. Today is the day we all get to say our final goodbyes. To my strong little man, he will strongly be missed. No one is doing to well. Peyton asks about him all the time. Asking when he's going to be home. We tried to explain to her that he wouldn't be home. She is kinda starting to understand. Liem, he has been crying every night, missing his brother. Kate, she has been a wreck since the day he passed, same with my mom. And me, I'm so broken inside. I'm trying so hard to be strong for everyone. It's so hard, I decided to take a shower. About five minutes into my shower, I just began balling my eyes out. Which is something that I have been doing alot of. I need to be strong and there for everyone else. I finished up and the shower, dried off. Then I began to get dressed and ready for the funeral. This is all still so unreal, I thought to myself. I finished getting ready, then headed downstairs where Kate, Pey and Liem were waiting in the living room for me. I grabbed Pey, and Kate grabbed Liem. We headed out the door, locking the door behind me. We put the kids in the car, then headed to my mom's, to pick her up. Once we got her, we then headed to the Funeral Home. Everyone who was invited to come join us was waiting for us outside. We all got out of the car. As we were walking up to the door, everyone greeted us with each handing us a single rose. Once we got to the doors, Justin, Lia and Sienna were there waiting for us. They reached out to grab the roses from us. They each began to tie a string around, making a bouquet of roses. Once we walked in, everyone followed behind. My heart just sank to my stomach, this is it, its the final goodbye.

-Kate's pov-

I can't believe it, I thought to myself, wiping away my tears as we were walking into the Funeral Home. Today is the last day we get to see our little Matthew. We decided to have an open casket. So that everyone could all have their final goodbyes, everyone here was all so close to him. Today is a heartbreaking day for everyone.We all gathered together in the chapel part of the funeral home, which is where Matthew's casket was at the front and behind his casket was the Preacher. Waiting for everyone to take their seats, once everyone was settled, he began to speak. After the Preacher had finished, everyone was then able to get up and say their goodbyes, before the closing of the casket. Mama, Ethan Pey Liem and I, were the first who got to walk up to his casket. I looked down, and I just saw him lying there in a black suit, with a green colored tie, which also matched the roses that everyone handed us when we got here. Green was his favorite color, he looked so handsome. I'm going to miss him so much. I began hugging him, then began to cry. Pey tapped my leg and asked me to pick her up. So that she could say bye bye too, I picked her up and let her say goodbye. She began to cry. I now think she understood what was happening. Mama gave Liem to Ethan, and they said their goodbyes. Once we finished our goodbyes, we were all in tears. We walked away from the casket, allowing others to say their goodbyes. Once everyone had said their final goodbyes, we all started heading to the cemetery. Where Matthew's casket will be buried, with the roses that everyone handed us at the beginning. Justin, Lia and Sienna then passed them all back out for everyone to place one his casket. Once the preacher finished up his final speech and ended in prayer, everyone began to place their rose on the casket. Ethan, Mama, the kids and I were the last ones to place roses. I kissed my fingertips, then touched the head of the casket. "Always and forever my little Angel" We all gathered around, as his casket was lowered into the ground. We all began crying and hugging each other. I can't believe today was the last day I got to see Matthew. He wasn't even one yet, he was taken away way to soon. That is all I kept thinking to myself.

-Ethan's pov-

After we finished at the cemetery, everyone had left and headed home. We decided we wanted to make a memory box for Matthew. Kate and my mom went to our house to put the kids down for a nap, then were going to start making the memory box. There were some things at my mom's house we wanted to use, so I had Justin drop me off there so I could bring them back to our house. Justin pulled into the driveway and I got out. "Alright, thank you man, talk to you later." I said, thanking Justin. "No problem, you stay safe man, call me if you need anything man." Justin said back. I entered my mom's house, and I walked over to the couch and sit down, then began to just cry into my hands. All I kept thinking was, why? Then next thing, I heard a knock at the door. I walked over, thinking to myself who could this be. I opened the door. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"Andrea, what the hell are you doing here? You need to leave." I said with confusion and anger.

"Well, hello to you to," she said, walking past me. I shut the door behind her.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, in a demanding voice.

"I came here to give you my condolences. I heard about what happened with your baby." she said, walking towards the couch.

"Well, you didn't have to come here, you have my number" I said, sitting on the couch.

"This is something that I thought would've been better to hear in person." Andrea said, sitting on the couch next to me.

"Well, I still thi-" Before I could even finish my sentence, Andrea leaned in and kissed me. I pulled away.

"What the hell, I'm with Kate." I said, in an aggressive tone.

"Ethan, I'm just trying to help you feel better." she said, rubbing my shoulder and leaning in to kiss me again. But, this time I didn't pull away. I can't believe what I'm doing, I don't even know why I'm doing it. I then lay Andrea down on the couch, and I proceeded to makeout with her. I began to rub my hand up her leg, slowly going up her skirt. Things are starting to heat up. She sits up and takes off her shirt, then begins to remove mine.

"Ethan!?" I heard Kate's voice. She was standing by the front door in tears. "How could you do this?" Kate said, running out. I ran out after her.

"Kate please, come back." I said, desperately catching up.

"Now why the fuck would I come back? I just caught you cheating on me, Ethan. And not only were you just cheating on me, it was with your EX! The Ex you said you were over, and I asked you for a reason before jumping into things." she screamed at me.

"I know and I am so sorry, I don't know why I did it." I said, looking down. "I messed up."

"Ethan, you beyond messed up, I trusted you. And you went behind my back, and cheated. The night of our son's funeral, How could you?" Kate said, upset and angry.

"I know and I'm sorry, can we please just talk about this." I desperately asked Kate.

"Where Ethan, on the couch where your half naked ex is lying, I'm good. You know what, how about you just come to the house and pack your shit, I want you out."

"Wait what, you're kicking me out?" I said, putting my head in my hands.

"Yes, and also I think we should break up, this isn't going to work." Kate said, as she began to cry.

"Kate no, you don't need to do this." I pleaded to her, I can't lose her again.

"Yes, I believe I do. And don't worry, you can still see Pey and Liem. We can figure out a custody agreement." she said, getting into her car. She sits in the car while I go in telling Andrea to leave. I grab my shirt then get into Kate's car.

"Please, Kate, you really don't need to do this."

"Once we get there, pack your shit up and get out. You can have Justin come get you or leave with your mom. Either way, you're leaving tonight." Kate said, firmly. By the time I finished packing, my mom was already gone, so I called Justin to come and get me. Once he got here, he helped me bring all my things to the car. He got in the car, and I ran inside to grab the last box. I picked up the box, turning and looking at Kate.

"I'm so sorry Kate." I said, looking down.

"Goodbye Ethan." she said, shutting the door behind me.
