Eli’s POV

“Hey Jason,” I said, waving at him and smiling as I stopped him in the hallway.

He looked confused- rightfully so considering our most recent interaction- and said, “Uh hey El, what’s up?”

“Well,” I said, pulling him to the side of the hallway, “I was hoping to skip class with someone and you,” I shoved a finger into his chest and walked my fingers up to his chin, “Seemed like the perfect candidate.”

His raised eyebrows and slight-frown were replaced with an ever-growing smile as he quickly forgot about his confusion. “Sounds good baby,” He said, grinning devilishly. “What are we gonna do?” He asked, leaning in as if to kiss me, but I stopped him with a finger on his mouth.

“You’ll see.”

Milo’s POV

“And then he just walked off as if he should be the one upset!” I finished my story about what happened with Eli. 

“That’s awful, I’m sorry baby, “ Sara said, placing her hand on my cheek. We were hanging out at her apartment since both of our classes were over and I clearly needed to rant- and it looked like she did too. “By the way, I don’t think El likes me very much.” Sare said, big puppy dog eyes and a small frown displayed on her face.

“Why do you think that baby?” I asked, petting her soft hair while she leaned into the comfort of my hand.

“I don’t know… he seems to always want to get rid of me and brush me off. He never talks to me even though we’re supposed to be friends… I don’t know…” She said sheepishly, burying her face into my chest.

“Well, maybe he’s jealous that we spend so much time together.” I suggested, unsure of how to comfort the small girl.

“Mmm… maybe…”

It was late at night by the time I got back home, I was exhausted from school, work, and then hanging out with Sare so the surprise I got once I thought I would finally be able to rest was much less than pleasant.

As I opened the door, there on the couch, was the form of two men on top of each other. Specifically Jason on top of Eli about to reach his filthy hands into Eli’s pants. As soon as I finally processed the fact that I had now twice walked in on the two in incredibly sexual positions, Eli had already pushed Jason off of him. 

“What the fuck.” I said simply, standing there like a deer caught in some trucker’s headlights.

“Jason,” Eli started as the man I suddenly realized was much taller than me approached. “Jason stop,” Eli was now grasping at his arms, trying to pull him back. 

“What the fuck man, this is the second time now and I’m pissed,” Jason said. 

Wow, this dude had no filter. “Look man, if you’re douchebag ass wants to have sex in the living room of my apartment where I live, expect to be walked in on. That’s on you,” Clearly, that did not calm him down. Not that that was my intention, but he puffed out his chest ready to swing.

“I swear to god Jason,” Eli said behind a tensed jaw and gritted teeth, “If you don’t leave right now without throwing a fit I’m never talking to you again,” Apparently Eli still had some kind of hold on him, because his eyes went from aggressive to defeated in seconds.

“Fine,” He said, pushing past me to leave, slamming the door behind him.
