"As delightful as that sounds, little witch, I must decline."
I almost let out a sigh of relief. I wasn't really thinking when I made that proposition. Well, I was, but it wasn't careful. Griffin's life meant more to me than chasing some hope that was never much to begin with. I would trade my life for Griffin's but I would do it in a way that absolutely ensured his safety.
"Why not?" I asked anyway. It would make sense that I would be concerned after he rejected my offer. While I may have been happy I didn't have to spend the rest of my life here, I still needed to figure out a way to help Griffin.
"Because I have plans. Big plans, and they need to be set in motion. Like...now."
Plans?
Why did my gut clench at the sound?
"But I do have something else in mind for trade," A slow grin broke out along his handsome face. Immediately, my guard went up.
I did not like that look. I did not like it one bit.
"And what exactly would that be?" I cautioned, taking a step back for every step forward he took, until my back was pressed against the ice cold wall of the cave. Cosmo was just a breath away, caging me in with his strong arms and muscular body. My breath caught in my throat as I peered up at him.
Cosmo's hand dropped down to cup my cheek, before slowly making its way down my neck, chest, and along my side until he rested firmly on my hip. He was still for a moment, before he yanked me forward into his body, forcing a gasp of surprise from my lips.
"You let me ravish this body of yours."
"I...I c-ca-"
"Sure you can," he piped happily.
As if on cue, Griffin started to wheeze harshly.
"Better hurry up if you don't want your little hybrid friend to die."
Oh man! Why do I keep getting caught up in things like this? Ryker's never going to want to look at me again after this.
"Tick...tock."
Blood dribbled down the corner of Griffin's mouth and that proof was enough to push me into action. I shoved my arms around the Mer's neck and planted my lips to his firm ones. Hating how I melted into his embrace.
Ryker please forgive me for being such a whore.
Cosmo cupped my ass, hiking me up so I could wrap my legs around his waist. I continued to kiss him, careful not to scrape myself along his razor sharp teeth. I brushed my tongue against his, rubbing and teasing him until that animalistic desire pushed him to assert dominance.
I knew we were moving but it wasn't until my back hit the soft sheets of a bed, that I realized we ventured deeper into the cave where his living chambers were.
How the heck did he manage to get a bed down here? And dry?
"But Griffin-" I gasped, braking away from the passionate kisses, looking down the dark hall of the cave where I could no longer see my friend or the opening of the cave.
Cosmo placed kisses all along my skin, ripping my clothes to pieces in the process.
"Will be fine. No one will come down here except one person and they are completely harmless. Plus the hybrid won't die for a while. It gives us plenty of time."
Cosmo hovered over me with a very pleased look, before tugging off his own bottoms. It took a second to realize I was completely bare to him and that modesty kicked in. I tried to cover myself, especially my very happy self, but to no avail. The moment I tried, Cosmo smacked my hands away, covering my body with his own and capturing my lips with his. I writhed and moaned, squirming beneath his heavy body, feeling the excitement of this beautiful creature's touch head south.
Cosmo's hardy erection brushed my inner thigh. I gasped, arching up into his chest.
It was so wrong, but I couldn't help the lust that overcame me, just like with Wes, Griffin, Sylus, and even Ezra. I don't know what it is, there was something in me that refused to fight it. That willed this to just...happen.
I wanted to know the sorrows of this lonely Merman. To hold him. To love him. To share his pain and will it away. I wanted to be a part of his life. I shouldn't, though. I really shouldn't, but I couldn't help it.
"Cosmo," I moaned, tugging at the silky tresses that spilled all over us. They were much softer than I imagined. Almost like my hands were wadding through warm, calm waters. Each locks melted through my fingers, never tangling despite the length.
Cosmo groaned deeply as I tugged and whimpered, pushing my hips into his, tightening my legs around his waist, and gripping him so tightly, there was no way he'd ever escape my arms. I wanted to hold him like this forever. So he would never leave me, not like Ryker. I wouldn't let him go. Feel lonely ever again.
I could feel his hands reach between us, searching for that one spot that'd grant him entry inside me. It took a moment before I felt his finger push its way inside. I choked on a breath, enjoying the pressure of his webbing stroke my insides.
I silently whispered a spell to moisten myself up, letting Cosmo slip another finger in with ease.
A shuddering breath escaped my lips. I urged him gently to begin that delicious friction that would take me to such heights.
"The sounds you make hypnotize like a pod of Sirens," Cosmo whispered along my neck, preparing me for his precious shaft.
Staring up into those beautiful teal eyes nearly brought me. So when he decided to shove his way inside me, pushing all the way to the hilt, I came all over his chest and my own. He wasn't done with me though. Each thrust was like a reason. A reason why he needed me. A reason why this was right, not just for him but for the both of us. Why we needed this, to fill that emptiness and abandonment that left us crippled.
"Faster, Cosmo," I pleaded. I gazed down our bodies, watching the muscles in his abdomen bunch and coil with every movement. I watched him enter me, pound against me, over and over again. He held himself above me, forearms planted firmly in the bed on either side of me.
Watching him like this, he was beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous.
Even with the anger, the rage, the pain, I could feel how beautiful a creature he was. How hard his life must have been. Still is.
Cosmo's face scrunched up, before he gave one final thrust. He exploded inside me and I felt the evidence coat my insides before sliding out and down my leg. He collapsed on top of me breathing heavily.
I wanted to hug him close but the exhaustion became too much. I could barely lift my arms.
The Mer stared down at me before gracing me with the most beautiful smile I had ever seen. It was the greatest sight I could have ever fallen asleep to...
I awoke to the glowing ceilings of the cave. At first, I wasn't sure where I was and a panic electrified my being. Then it all came back to me. I sat up, letting the silk gold sheets on the bed, pool around my waist. Cosmo was nowhere to be found.
Shit! Griffin!
Immediately, I jumped up, scooping he sheets up to cover myself before running down the cave to the opening where I knew Griffin would be. I didn't know how long I was asleep but I couldn't risk Griffin's safety. I had to know if he was okay; if Cosmo kept his end of the deal.
I could hear someone further up. I didn't know if they were friend or foe, so I slowed to a stop, hiding behind a wall before peeking over.
At first, I didn't really understand what was happening. As I took a longer look, I felt like an idiot for not understanding. Cosmo had Griffin pinned up against the wall. It took me a moment to see pale legs wrapped around the Mer's waist and notice the obvious drive of his hips. I almost rushed in, ready to defend Griffin until I heard the evident moans of pleasure and look of euphoria on his face as he gripped the Mer tighter to him, much like I had.
Well this was awkward.
I wasn't sure how I felt. I thought I'd be slightly jealous but instead...it was insanely hot and completely turning me on.
Jeez Noah. When did you turn into such a pervert?
"Sing for me, Siren. Let me hear your song," Cosmo panted into Griffin's ear.
Griffin's face twisted up as he fought to breathe past it the passion.
"I can't," he whimpered.
"You can," Cosmo urged, thrusting harder.
"No...no...no."
"Sing."
Just as he was about to open his mouth and sing, Griffin spotted me. His eyes widened in horror but also in that exact moment, I knew Cosmo brought him to a finish.
Griffin sagged against Cosmo who still hadn't realized I was standing behind them. Griffin took a moment to catch his breath before, jumping up and covering himself.
"Noah I-" he began, causing Cosmo to whip around.
"Um, I'm not really sure what to do," I admitted.
Cosmo ran his fingers through his hair before grinning, "You could join in if you'd like."
Griffin and I both scowled at him. The Mer shrugged his shoulders and held his hands up in surrender. I rolled my eyes at him.
Just as Griffin finished getting dressed someone entered the cave, pushing through the wall of water but without getting a drop of water on him. He was small and obviously a fae from the golden iridescent wings protruding from his back. He was slender and incredibly gorgeous with high cheek bones, full bow shaped lips, and long, wavy, lavender locks that shimmered like tinsel. His skin was a pale pink color, contrasting with the cream colored shirt he wore and black leather pants. Despite all of those things, what stood out the most, was those beautiful tricolored eyes that twinkled emerald, magenta, and cerulean. They were large, yet graceful in their almond shape and intense slant.
When he laid those transfixing eyes on me, the bag he clutched so tightly dropped from his hands, and tears began to brim.
"It's you."
