"What's wrong?" She asked him. "Nothing." Gary replied looking confused. "Tell me." "Why?" Gary asked her. "Because I am not able to eat my food otherwise." "You should eat something. You've been out of appetite lately. What is happening to you?" He asked her. "It is nothing." She replied and resumed eating her food. "Do you think that I could help you eat? Maybe I can do something to help you." "No, no need. You don't have to do that." Lauren replied and continued eating her food. "Lauren, don't worry about this. If you don'e feel like eating we can wait until later okay? There is no rush, we don't have to eat today." He reassured her. "Okay." She smiled. They kept talking to each other until lunch time came. They sat quietly as they talked to each other. After lunch, Gary cleaned up the room while Lauren was sleeping and he washed the dishes, when Lauren woke up, he was already asleep on the couch with his head leaning back. "Mommy, mommy wake up. Mommy wake up." Lauren shook her mom gently, but that did nothing to wake her mom up she was dreaming about something. "Mommi wake up, please." Lauren whispered. "Mom, you're dreaming. Wake up, please." Lauren repeated. "Mommy you have to wake up, we have to go somewhere." Lauren insisted. "What? Go where?" Her mom questioned and she rubbed her eyes. "To go somewhere where Daddy can meet us. Come on mom, hurry please." Lauren pleaded and she held her mommy's hands to guide her. Her mother didn't understand why she was having nightmares, but she trusted her child and she got up immediately. They put on their shoes and took their bags and they left together to the bus station where their flight to Seattle would arrive shortly. After ten minutes she finally woke up and she didn't want to forget the beautiful dream she had about a man who was standing near her. She got up from the bed slowly. She looked around to find her daughter still asleep peacefully so she grabbed her bag to get some things she needed. When she found her daughter sleeping in the middle of the floor, she picked her up to carry her inside her room. Then she laid her in her bed and covered her body with the blanket. After doing all that she sat by the edge of the bed. She remembered about her dream and tears filled her eyes and they fell from her eyes as she was crying remembering the dream. It seemed that her daughter had never experienced being happy with her dad. Not once since she met her dad that she was happy with him and he was her father too so it hurt her because she knew he missed her so much. She stayed in bed for almost 20 minutes, until she decided to cook dinner and then she prepared some toast. After that she took a shower before cooking. When she was done cooking she served the meal and then waited for her daughter to come downstairs. She hoped she wouldn't stay in her room again. As soon as she heard steps coming downstairs and she saw them entering the kitchen she got up from the kitchen and she approached them. "Dinner is ready." She told them. "Thanks Mom." They both said. They sat down at the table with their plates full of food and after that she cleaned up. "Mom why don't you finish your meal first and then we can eat?" Jessica suggested and Lauren agreed and they began eating their meal again. They had dinner, then they had dessert and then their night was over. After Jessica went up to bed Lauren stayed in her room alone, lying down on her bed. She sighed heavily as she thought about all of her problems. But most of them were solved now that Gary was finally marrying her daughter. She sighed again and hugged herself hoping that someday, she won't be lonely anymore. When Lauren woke up, it was already six in the morning and she stretched lazily. When she yawned she realized she was alone in bed. She looked around trying to find her girlfriend. She looked around for her and when she couldn't spot her she figured they weren't in the house. Getting up from the bed she quickly changed into her clothes and ran to the bathroom. After brushing her teeth and combing her hair she went downstairs, she headed straight towards the kitchen where she stopped at the sight of her mom and dad. She looked at her mom's face and she instantly knew something was off. "Good morning sweetheart." Lauren's mom greeted her. "Morning mom." Lauren replied smiling brightly. "Where's mum? She doesn't seem to be here. Did she take Lauren to school or something?" She wondered aloud. "Not that I know of sweetheart. We haven't seen her anywhere around since yesterday." Her dad told her. "Okay well if she isn't here then I guess we will have breakfast in a while." Lauren replied. "I guess." Her dad replied as they sat down to eat their breakfast. Once they finished eating, her mom went upstairs to check if she was still there and when she didn't answer she opened the door to her daughter's room and she couldn't believe her eyes, Lauren was asleep on her bed, snuggled up under the covers with a blanket covering her completely. Her mom couldn't resist kissing her cheeks and she smiled as she looked at her daughter who was sleeping.
