(No One's Pov)
Angelina looked through the vent opening, eyes widening with fear and horror as she looked down at the creature below in the corridor.
It looked small and very human like yet... it had two small but sharp horns, skin or fur... or whatever the hell was covering its body was as black as a corpse with an almost red tint to it thanks to the flashing red lights. It possessed black void-like eyes, razor like claws of both hands and feet... the beast's anger clearly visible, a beast Patryck called a 'demon'. Blood dripped off its claws, chains clung to its wrists and ankles.
Soldiers ran into the corridor and towards the demon, guns raised and ready to fire yet the demon itself simply swung its bone-like arms, disarming and badly injuring each soldier before proceeding down the next corridor. Angel covered her mouth with her hand as the large amount of fear continued to grow.
Yes, she has already seen all types of horrid things like the monsters and dead no one else but her and her friends could see... yet this was beyond that. This was proof that it all exists, proof that she originally didn't want.
Angelina flinched a bit as she heard the demon cry out in pain after a loud gunshot echoed the halls, before more soldiers rushed down the corridor in the same direction the demon went. Angelina was so distracted by the chaos and horror below that she hadn't realised that she was putting too much of her own weight on the vent opening, enough weight to accidently force it open, resulting in the girl falling through the opening, Patryck failing to catch her in time or pull her back. Angelina hit the floor hands and face first, with a loud thump, attracting attention from a couple soldier in the other corridor. In the vents, Patryck started slowly backing up a bit, watching through the small vent openings as two soldiers rushed back into corridor the girl fell into. The two soldiers rushed over, one kneeling down as Angelina laid unconscious on the ground, nose bleeding and blood slowly dripping out of her mouth "This doesn't look good... we'll have to bring her to the surgical wing for treatment before bringing her back to her room" the soldier stated as the other looked up at the now open vent. "She was in the vents the entire time?" the second soldier questioned "How the fuck did she even get up there-" "A question for later, we need to get her to the surgical ward now" the first soldier interrupted, carefully picking up Angelina and standing up before him and the other soldier walked down the corridor, back towards Block A's ward. "No no no no no...." Patryck silently muttered through his teeth as he watched the soldiers leave with the girl. Patryck quietly yet angrily signed, holding his head "Fuck" he harshly whispered.
Corey heard the loud thump in the corridor and not even a second after, he bolted towards the door. The soldier immediately grabbed the boy's arm yet didn't expect Corey to quickly turn around and soccer-punch him in the jaw. The hit was hard enough to cause the soldier to stumble back a bit, letting go of Corey in the process. Corey bolted for the door yet was knocked out cold... the soldier had hit him in the back of the head with the hilt of his gun. The soldier held his radio in hand, leaning into it "Code A in Block Z, in Thompson's office... patient secured" "Copy that" a voice answered on the other end of the radio "Sending a doctor over to retrieve the patient now, patient's code?" the voice asked as the soldier kneeled down beside Corey. The soldier looked at the barcode on the boy's wrist "It's C.Ø.1.2.Y" the soldier answered, glaring down at Corey.
Half An Hour Later
A couple soldiers dragged a kid into the surgical wing... it's 'Ethan' "Is he sedated?" a doctor questioned as the two soldiers dragged the kid towards a door "For now at least-" "I'm just glad he's completely blind" the second soldier interrupted the first "Well according to his records, his other senses have been awfully heightened, still making him just as dangerous as he was fourteen years ago" the doctor stated as the first soldier opened the door. Inside was a tiny cell-like tile and concrete-floored room, four heavy long and large chains hung off the back wall with new shackles on them, large animal-like claw marks covered the concrete floor and walls along with scratch marks made with blunt nails, and if you shut the door... the room would be completely pitch black. The soldiers pulled the kid inside, re-shackling him to the chains bounded to the back wall yet when half done re-shackling, the kid woke up. Their skin was covered with black shadow and smoke, his eyes glowed bright green as he bared his teeth and fangs at the soldiers. "Shit- the muzzle!" the first soldier snapped as the doctor quickly ran off to grab it. The kid's nails sharpened to claws as he went for the soldier's neck yet the soldier himself quickly grabbed both of the kid's blackened wrists, just barely stopping the blow whilst the other soldier tried holding the kid back. "Hurry the fuck up!" the first soldier yelled as the doctor ran back over with the human-face-sized muzzle "Got it-" "Put the fucking thing on him!" the soldier snapped before the doctor leaned over and forced the muzzle onto the kid "No-" the kid half screamed, tears threatening his eyes as he tried to shake the muzzle off whilst the doctor quickly put the rest of the chains and shackles back on the kid. All three men quickly backed away and out of the room, slamming the door shut and locking it as Ethan yelled in absolute panic.
"No- let me out!" he screamed at the top of his lungs "Let me out!" yet eventually he yells and screams died, murdering his already dry throat. Ethan sunk back down onto his knees, tears running down his face. Panic rose up as he somewhat clawed at his eyes, his own blindness blackening the dark room he was in, the ability to breathe slowly starting to leave due to panicked fast breathing and crying. He was slowly becoming light-headed and dizzy, and it had now gotten to the point that he could feel the blink of passing out "-̷̇ͅ-̴̹̈́-̸̧́-̷͇̿-̷̑ͅ , you're having a panic attack... here- look at me" Ethan immediately looked up at the sound of the phantom voice echoing in his head. "Focus on breathing, okay? In and out, slowly" Ethan felt himself freeze up as fragments of the memory played in his head yet he immediately shook his head, hands covering his ears as he looked back down at the ground "N-no... no-" "Hey hey..." the voice was so gentle as Ethan slowly lifted his head back up. "Copy me..." the voice told him as he closed his eyes. He pictured the owner of the voice slowly breathing in and so he copied, a few seconds later, breathing out. Ethan repeated this for a few minutes before he was breathing normally again "You better now?" "Yeah-" "Yea-" his voice broke as more tears ran down his face, hugging his legs close to his chest. The memory... it was too much. It reminded him too much of an old life he so desperately wanted back, a life he destroyed himself. "No" he quietly answered no one "...I'm not" he silently cried, burying his now tear-streaked face into his knees.
