“But before that come with me…” said Chiron “I know a safe place for you people. Take a rest and then you all can follow me to blackbeard’s”

Jem sighs and says “Fine”.

“Let’s go” said Alex.

“Yup” agreed Nil.

Beth looked uncomfortable, but was fine.

They followed Chiron, through the forest. He said there was a shortcut through the forest.

While walking Jem asked something which had been bothering him at all. “Um…Chiron…what is this place? I mean Davy Jones, you are not supposed to be real”

Jem looked away, knowing he had just asked a akward question, but he needed to know.

“I know” said Chiron. “This island is a place for all forgotten people or animals that used to reside on Earth. This place exists as a safehaven for us. I don’t know but this island seems to have some powers. If any of the creatures of the island try to leave, then they immedietly disintegrate. Jones and the rest of the pirates do a great gamble by staying close to the border. But after all they are pirates. I don’t think they fear being disintegrated. They just avoid it.”

“Ah here we are” announced Chiron and pointed towards their front. He had led them to an small opening through the the forest.

He looked here and there, as if he was searching for someone.

Something felt off. Jem knew it.

All of sudden Chiron relaxed. He turned towards them and with a smile, he said “Pikes”.

And about a dozen centaurs with spears erupted from the bushes and surrouned them in a circle. They were holding spears and had bow and arrows strapped to their backs.

They were outnumbered and outmatched. Jem knew a battle was hopeless. Chiron had betrayed them.

“YOU LITTLE…”started Roy, but got a hit in the head with the blunt side of the spear. Not lethal, but that must have hurt a lot. He staggered backwards and Nil and Alex caught him.

“You…but you…I thought you helped people” stammered Alex. He still had problems believing Chiron would betray us. Of course, he knew about Chiron from those history books, but that doesn’t mean people don’t change and this is not even that Chiron from the stories. More like his 20^th descendent, sometimes you know people tend to go rougue.

Jem however had no problem believing it. Chiron was bad, or was the name even fake.

“Surrender and you will not be harmed. Make a small try of escape…” he looked at one of those pointy spears.

“Now follow me Chiron said “my fellow Blackbeard would surely love to see his new slaves. Of course, we will keep these two. Yes yes Roan” Chiron said to one of the centaurs when he opened his mouth to argue. He pointed towards Nil and Nelinha.

“NOOOOO…” everyone shouted in protest and tried to struggle free.  And as expected, there were a few smacks and the struggling stopped, resulting in Nil and Alex to fall unconscious. The girls were crying. Will looked miserable and Jem was shaking with anger.

He looked at Chiron and said in a dangerous voice “You will die at my hands”.

And then he got hit in the head by one of the centaurs. The world around him was blackening and he fell unconscious.

When Jem opened his eyes, he saw two faces looking down at him. Soon his vision cleared and the faces came into focus. One of the face was Beth and the other was a man of nearly thirty.

Jem sat up. He could hear the roaring of the sea outside.

He looked at Beth and realization dawned upon him.

“Welcome to the cellar aka jail of Queen Anne’s Revenge” said the man. He was wearing one of those pirate dresses, but he surely was a prisoner.”

“Alex, Will and ana are working their shifts” said Beth “soon it will be our turn”

Jem turned to look at the man, who held out his hand to shake Jem’s and said in a pirate accent. “Hello mate, the name is Jack sparrow and are you ready for the mutinity.” He said with a mischievous smile.
