Kacchan could have been back in his own bed any day now, if he hadn't gotten up the nerve to rip out all the tubes and try to leave. What made him do it? Kirishima tells him that he thinks Izuku has something with Ochako. Why did he believe that? He didn't come to see him, he didn't write to him and he didn't make himself known in any way. That scared him.
Unfortunately for him, hospital security caught him and returned him. By doing so, he extended his stay. Unknowingly, he allowed Izuku to sleep in his room a few nights longer.
But when they let him go, they really let him go, he didn't tell anyone. He needed to catch Izuku off guard. And he succeeded. He left for the intr towards evening and went straight into his room where his nerd was hugging the blanket. He was wearing his sweatshirt, which was big for him, more than the others.
He quietly closed the door and sat on the bed next to him. He took a breath and determined to break the silence.
"When was the last time you slept?" He asked softly and caressed his face. He noticed how red and swollen his eyes were. He was more worried about him now than when he was in the hospital.
Izuku flinched as if he hadn't felt the mattress sag next to him. Maybe it will be because he no longer knows what is a dream and what is reality. He can still see that moment before him. He didn't count on the fact that the real Kacchan would simply appear next to him.
He moved closer to him and pulled him into his arms. "They say you kicked their asses again," he smiled at him, "You could just stop wringing your hands." He read to him. Otherwise, he was proud of him again. His little, literally little, number one hero. Another All Might.
The green-haired man stared in front of him in silence. It really is him and he's back. He swallowed hard. Lying here alone, in a blond sweatshirt, he made a big decision. It will hurt, but most of all he has to make Katsuki hurt more. Then he won't have the strength or courage to return to him.
"Kacchan, I want to break up," he whispered, "I can't be with someone who's been lying in the hospital for so long with such a minor injury."
He knows his friend almost died, but he has to say it. He closed his eyes and waited for the scene. Instead there was laughter.
"God! Do you know how much it hurts me to laugh?" He wiped his tears Bakugou. He didn't expect this. He knows what that stupid broccoli is about. He's not going to let it go. He has to do something about him. But the first thing he'll do is make him get a good night's sleep. "At least you'd look at me he could easily!" He read to him.
Izuku blinked in confusion. "I-I'm serious!" He retorted a little louder. No matter how hard he tried, his voice wasn't firm or confident at all. Anyone could tell he wasn't serious.
"Izuku, baby, I decided to protect you with my life because I knew you could kick their ass," he paused and stroked his boy's cheek, "you have to understand that I'm not going to jump on this." He muttered quietly.
He remembered that moment again. The only question on his mind now is; does he have scars
He himself hates his scars. They are ugly and unattractive. He feels, though never given a reason, that the Kacchans loathe him because of him. He, as if reading his thoughts, kissed the small scars on his hands.
"Now don't think about anything." He whispered and rolled him onto his back. He needed to comfort his sensitive friend. He had no idea he would feel this miserable.
Izuku was about to voice his objection but his blond silenced him with his lips. Every single thought slowly evaporated from his head. Kacchan is amazing.
He pulled away for a moment and pulled his shirt off. Bakugou loves the sight of his friend's bare skin. And that he has scars? Pf It belongs to him and he loves it so much. His boy is a hero who walks straight to his dream.
He didn't forget and kissed every single scar. He spent most of his time on the large one on his right hand. She needs special care.
Midoriya didn't even realize it, but tears the size of peas were leaving his eyes. He had never been happier. Nothing warms his heart more than knowing that this loving side of Kacchan belongs to him and only him.
It's time to switch roles tonight, he wants to pamper and kiss him all over tonight.
If Bakudeku was Canon I feel like they would argue about random stuff or get super mad at each other and then one of then would say, "I wanna break up" then one things leads to another and they kissed and made up.
How does it feel to know that you are facing death face to face? We may not be afraid of death as such, but of the feeling we are leaving with. When the last thing we feel is a warm feeling of love, will it be easier?
