After successfully defeating Kaido and Orochi, Paul Gekko noticed Mario giving him a gift, Speed Star, Sonic’s car. “Don’t worry Mario. We won’t let Sonic down.” said Paul Gekko. The competitors are consisted of Waluigi, Koopa Troopa, Toad and Toadette, Petey Piranha and King Boo, Bowser, King K. Rool and General Klump and a mysterious bike rider.

Paul Gekko sees Eggman observing the festivities. The Egg Pawn explains the rules of the Galactic Cup. “Greetings from the Galactic Eggman Empire. Welcome to the Galactic Cup. The starting line will be the Wild Woods The rules are simple, race through the total of eight courses: Bone-Dry Dunes, Thwomp Ruins, Sherbet Land, Piranha Plant Slide, Moo Moo Meadows, Twisted Mansion and Yoshi Valley. The finish line will take place at the Mushroom Kingdom. All items are available including the purses from old ladies from the ancient civilizations. Winner get the Mushi Mushi no Mi, 50,000 quantonium and 4900 chili-dogs. Do not worry. The Quantonium are in this suitcase.”

After the preparations was complete, at the Wild Woods, the announcer said, “Ladies and Gentlemen! Introducing the EMPEROR EGGMAN!” “Hee hee hee hee! Let the race begin!” said Emperor Eggman. The race starts with a simple green light. Paul Gekko struggles to activate the Speed Star. “Time to put the pedal to the metal!” Paul Gekko shouted. He started the engines and drove faster. Zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom. Paul Gekko and his competitors raced into the Bone-Dry Dunes where they entered the winding path and the wooden bridge which leads to a canyon filled with giant bones. Paul Gekko was attacked by Bone Piranha Plants.

He managed to evade them and made his way to the anti-gravity section where he saw a wall made of ribs, featuring some spin boosters. He catches up to King K. Rool and General Klump at the cave, with the mouth being a giant skull and hands resembling Dry Bowser. There, Paul Gekko and the competitors went through the green pipe, leading to the Thwomp Ruins. The mysterious racer follows Paul Gekko through the green pipe, knowing that was Sonic’s Speed Star. “GIVE THAT BACK! IT DOESN’T BELONG TO YOU!” said the mysterious racer.

At the Thwomp Ruins, Paul Gekko meets Petey Piranha and King Boo face to face. As the cars meets bumper to bumper, they saw something rolling from behind. “AAAAHH!!! It’s a Millstone!” said Toadette. The racers raced outside to evaded Thwomps engravings in the surrounding walls resemble Thwomp mouths. They made it out of the ruins. Paul Gekko was gliding all the way to the underground pipe. “Oh dear! It’s big Obstacle” said King K. Rool.

“THE PIRANHA PLANTS!” Klump shouted. Paul Gekko and the racers evaded the Piranha Plants and went down a huge underwater pipe. Some pipes generate currents allowed Paul Gekko to to higher ledges other racers does the same thing. They went through the ramp, Paul Gekko noticed something. “Light!” Paul Gekko shouted. Paul Gekko and the racers have went out the pipe and arrived at Moo Moo Meadows. Paul Gekko and the competitors saw the herd Moo Moos crossing the road. After the Moo Moos have crossed, they continued the race and arrived at the Twisted Mansion. Paul Gekko noticed the doors slowly open. They went inside the mansion. It was dark and filled with old furniture and delicious food.

Toad said, “Hello…” No one answered. “Uhh… Do you feel something?” said Klump. Suddenly, they head a voice of a Boohemoth. “WWWWWOOOOOOOH!” The Boohemoth gave Paul Gekko and the racers a bigger scare. They head for the dining room through a library, and into the underwater corridor. “Watch your hand Paul Gekko! Those are Fish Bones!” said Toad. Bowser, King K. Rool, Klump, King Boo and head to the courtyard and saw Paul Gekko, Toad and Toadette gliding to the balcony, taking a shorter route. They drove quickly, trying to catch up to them.

The racers head to Yoshi Valley.  After taking the separate routes, they evaded the giant Yoshi Egg and takes the long narrow bridge.

At the Finish Line, Adam and the others are waiting for Paul Gekko. “I see something.” said Kenshin. It was Paul Gekko and the other racers nearing the finish line. Paul Gekko is in first place, Adam, Hansel, Gretel and the others are cheering him on.

Paul Gekko crossed finished line and won. His comrades rejoices at the efforts they have made. After successfully obtained the prize, they returned to the S.S. Atlantis to celebrate. They ate cake, candy and other types of food onboard. After the Celebration, Adam shares the information about the Holy Grail to Paul Gekko and his friends. “The mission is simple!” said Adam. “We have to find the Holy Grail that was hidden in the heart of Heaven Tail and take it back to the base.”
