Paul Gekko and Adam decided to get some rest. “So, what’s this thing with you and the hidden power.” said Adam. “What hidden power?” Paul Gekko asked. “I was just thinking… I got this feeling… that I should be nicer and strong. And now I feel better.” Adam continued ” You were never this nice and weak… and now you’re nice and strong all the time. I’m just trying to understand, figure out what it means.” It’s hard to understand.” said the strange voice. “Dear Cousin.” said Paul Gekko. “It’s kinda hard to describe. It’s like fall.” said Jegal Bugok. “I think I know what you’re talking about.” “Can you explain it too us?” Jegal’s brother asked.

“I remember the first time we met the Fall Maiden alongside my siblings. And we thought, That’s it. It’s over. We’ll be nothing a Primordial Pumpkins being turned into PUMPKIN PIES!” said Adam. “That’s very interesting.” said Seung Beon. “Good night guys.” said Jegal. “Good night.” Paul Gekko yawned. They all went to sleep. In his dream, Paul Gekko falls into the planet, one of his worst fears. Just as he crashed into it, he wakes up in fear alongside his friends and family who were drastically taken to Menagerie of the Faunus Kingdom by the local kidnappers who mistook them for Faunus.

“Where are we?” Paul Gekko thought. “This is Menagerie.” said the strange blue Faunus. “I’m Akira Belladonna and this is my sister, Blake.” “This is the one place everyone can feel safe, no matter who or what they are.” said Blake. “When you try and take an entire species and put them on an island that’s two-thirds desert, yeah, it tends to be cramped.” “We try to make the best of things.” said Akira. He and his sister introduced their parents to Paul Gekko and friends. “Is everything okay?” asked Paul Gekko. “My dad can reschedule. It’s just been hard dealing with them lately.” Akira said, “It’s a feud between my family and the White Fang.” “WHAT?!” said Sun and Blake, rising to their feet. Akira showed Paul Gekko and Adam Atlantis two fox Faunus, Corsac Albain and Fennec Albain.

One night, Paul Gekko and his friends talk to Akira about their adventures. “Why did you kidnap us Akira?” Hansel asked. Akira shows them a picture of the child resembling a mix of a chameleon and a human.

“I recognized this picture…” said Paul Gekko. “It’s Ilia… My Pet Mobian…” “I see…” said Akira. Suddenly a mysterious shadow grabbed Akira’s cellphone and jumps away and Paul Gekko, Adam went after it. He tries several times to warn her that he saw a masked White Fang member after Kali informed him the masks were not part of the attire worn by the Menagerie branch. Suddenly Blake and Sun heard Paul Gekko voice.

“ILLLIA!!!” Paul Gekko screamed. “COME BACK!” Blake is shocked that Paul Gekko is chasing after Ilia, who was spying on her. Blake and Sun were in pursuit. Ilia, Paul Gekko and Adam emerged from the trees and onto a roof. Paul Gekko and Adam continues to chase her, jumping roof to roof. “Why are you watching my brother?” said Blake.

Ilia headbutts Paul Gekko, cracking off the part of the mask covering her left eye. Blake turns, rising with the Scroll in her hand. She sees the broken Grimm mask crumble from Ilia’s face. “I knew it was you!” said Paul Gekko. “That’s Ilia?” thought Adam.”Wait, you know her?!” said Sun. He cries out and falls. “Give me the humans Akira!” Ilia demanded. “No.” Blake replied. Ilia changes color and uses her weapon to create a rush of dust, which allows her to escape. Blake briefly acknowledges that Ilia has disappeared. “SUNSHINE!” Akira shouted. Blake and Akira rushed to Sun’s side. “No, no, no, not again, please!” Blake cried.

Sun Wukong wakes up on a couch in Ghira Belladonna’s study. Blake Belladonna is sitting on a chair across from the couch, her body facing him. Her head is bowed and her hands are folded in her lap. “This… is why, Sun.” said Blake. “This is why I left them all behind.” Blake gets up and walks over to the couch as Sun looks around in confusion. Blake continued. “Do you think I like being alone? Every day… every day I think about them! Ruby, Weiss, Yang… they were my friends! I loved them like I never thought I could love anybody.” “That chameleon friend of yours got me pretty good.” said Sun Wukong.

Paul Gekko closed the door and and was approached by Akira Belladonna. “I know you missed your siblings don’t you…” said Akira. “Yeah.” Paul Gekko sighed. “Guys any movement?” said Akira. “Eggman helped Adam Taurus kill the leader of the White Fang, and stage a full-scale attack on Haven Academy.” said Adam. “Keep an eye on any activity within the Galactic Eggman Empire.” said Akira. Akira told Paul Gekko “Like the Faunus, were born from our ancestors the Mobians. Our birth come from the sacred realm. My grandmother was the Queen of the Faunus tribe.”

“Have you tried challenging the Eggman Empire?” said Paul Gekko. “Not with the White Fang around.” said Akira. “It’s settled!” said Paul Gekko. “By talking to your grandma, there is a chance to free her people.” “How?” Akira asked. “By Beating the teeth out of the WHITE FANG!” Paul Gekko said with a courageous voice. “No.” said Blake. “You’re not going to beat the teeth out of the White Fang. We’re going to take it back.”

At the conference Queen Kamiya, holds a press conference to the rest of the Faunus populace with Paul Gekko’s group watching them. Queen spoke her words and said “Thank you all for assembling here. I wanted to take time to address some of the rumors that have been circulating around our island. I believe that it is important for the people of this territory to understand the truth. No matter how you feel about the human race, I think we can all agree that the event now known as the Fall of Beacon was a tragedy. With each day that this man remains unpunished, it becomes increasingly difficult to condemn those that look down upon us.”

“Recently,” Ghira added. “a spy from the same splinter group set their sights on this very home. My own daughter, Blake, and her friend did their very best to apprehend this individual. With this, we have been able to ascertain that Adam Taurus has plans to overthrow the current leader of the White Fang, Sienna Khan, and take over the reins himself.”

Blake steps up to the podium and faces her father. Suddenly, Ilia emerges from the crowd. “TRAITORS!!” Ilia yelled. “After everything the humans have done to us, everything they’ve put us through, you’re asking us to help them?!”

“I know we haven’t been treated fairly…” said Akira. “The Belladonnas are the worse kind of Faunus! They want us to work with the same people that are trying to hold us down! If you truly, truly want to help your people, now is the time to support the Eggman Empire, not the Belladonnas! He will bring about the future that you deserve. And if you are unwilling to fight, know that the White Fang will do it for you!”

After an unsuccessful morning, Paul Gekko and Blake have a drink together. “How can they just sit around and do nothing with the White Fang getting ready to attack?” thought Paul Gekko.

“Because not everyone is like me and my brother.” said Blake. “If Adam gets his way and Haven falls, it’s only going to make things worse for the Faunus. Everywhere.” Blake Belladonna leans against the railing on the balcony of the Belladonna Family Home. She feels a note taped to the wooden railing of the balcony. Blake receives a note from Ilia Amitola to meet with her alone.

“There’s no such thing as innocent! There’s no right thing to do! Only what’s best for us!” said Ilia. Akira jumps out of nowhere and knocks down the Faunus next to Trifa. Akira knocked Trifa out with a strong chop after disarming her. “Thanks for the backup.” said Blake. Elsewhere, Paul Gekko and Ilia meet again eye-to-eye, face-to-face. “Did you come in here to play the game of hide and seek?” Paul Gekko exclaimed. “I told you, I didn’t want this sensei…” said Ilia. Paul Gekko starts walking away. Suddenly, Ilia begins to attack with the whip form of Lightning Lash and Paul Gekko dodges and rolls.

“Do you feel like your people joined the Empire?” Paul Gekko asked. “Because it works!” Ilia yelled. “Why couldn’t you just leave?!” Paul Gekko dodges a couple more whips from Ilia who has moved up to the balcony. As he takes cover behind the desks, Paul Gekko summons his Charizard from his pokeball. Paul Gekko’s Charizard looks at the dark area after Paul Gekko fed it with Bananas and Apple. Charizard spits its fireball at the shrubbery at the top corner of the room. “Nicely done Charizard.” said Paul Gekko. He puts Charizard back into the pokeball.

With camouflage not an option anymore, Ilia engages Paul Gekko in combat. The two start off with a mixture of sword clashes and hand-to-hand. Paul Gekko sprouted his eight tails to imitate Ilia’s whip. “Quit taking snakeshots and fight me like you mean it sensei!!” Ilia yelled. Suddenly, a ribbon is wrapped around her weapon as Blake pulls it away and she leaps from the balcony to kick Ilia to the ground. Blake holds Ilia down. “You’re wrong,” said Blake. “Is this really what our family would’ve wanted?!” said Paul Gekko. Ilia ceases her struggling and her eyes start to well up. “I don’t know what else to do… sensei…” she cried.

As Ilia continues sobbing, Blake hears a rumble. Corsac Albain is thrown through the wall, dropping his half of Cyclone and Inferno. Ghira Belladonna jumps into the room as he growls at Corsac. Suddenly, Fennec Albain stabs Ghira in the back, who cries out in pain and slumps toward the ground. With Blake distracted, Ilia gets her off her and kicks her into a nearby chair, knocking Blake out momentarily. Ghira pulls the wand out of his back and clashes fists with Corsac. Ilia picks out her locket and looks at the picture of Paul Gekko and Ilia and slowly remembers her days he spent with him. “Ilia!” Fenec yelled. “What are you doing?! Fight!!”

“Sunshine!” said Adam. “We’ll take care of the rest” “On it!” Sun replied. He pulls out Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang and engages Ilia in combat. As she struggles to get out of his hold, the pillar she is getting pushed against starts to crack. “STOP!” Blake shouted. Her tears start streaming down her eyes. Ilia manages to push Sun off her and falls to the ground as he hits the pillar. Ilia yelps looking up in terror as the balcony is about to fall on her. Ghira is shown lifting the broken part of the balcony with his own strength. Ilia stares in awe.

“Ilia! COME ON!” Paul Gekko shouted, grabbing Ilia out of the way. Ghira is forced down on one knee to keep the balcony from falling on him. Sun uses his Semblance to summon two light clones that go and help Ghira lift. Blake grabs her katana and transforms it into kusarigama form.  Paul Gekko sees this and he grabbed Ghira by the torso and pulls him out as Fennec lands just below the falling balcony.  “A human and a Faunus…” Corsac said darkly. “This explains everything… EVERYTHIIIIIIING!!!” “Corsac! Stop!” Akira shouted. Akira gets in front of the Belladonas and Sun taking the shielding stance. Ilia knelt in front of Paul Gekko, revealing herself as Paul Gekko’s pet and remembering how Paul Gekko and Ilia got separated after the Great Mobian Purge.

In her memories, Ilia in her Mobian form, was forced by her parents to hide her Faunus heritage. She enjoyed blending in with Humans and even spoke badly of Mobians along with her Human friends. One day, she and her classmates received news of a large explosion causing a cave-in at the mines, resulting in the deaths of her parents. Her friends snickered about it, and Ilia could not contain her emotions. As she cried, her skin turned blue, and her friends became afraid of her. Ilia chooses to follow Paul Gekko. She learns to say Paul Gekko in thanks for her kindness, and the two part ways.

At the present, Outside of the Belladonna’s home, a large crowd of Faunus gathers outside, noticing the smoke coming from the building. Akira walks out carrying the motionless bodies of a White Fang soldier and a Menagerie Guard on each of his shoulders. He hands the bodies to two guards as Saber Rodentia arrives. More guards walk out keeping Corsac restrained, followed by Blake, Kali, Sun, Ilia and others. Blake takes a deep sigh as she goes down the steps.

Blake addressed to the crowd “Humans didn’t do this. By doing nothing and staying silent, we let others speak and act in our place.  This is the message that Adam Taurus will bring to the world if no one stops him. You have to understand that all of you are looking for simple answers to a very complicated problem. And I can’t give that to you. I don’t know how to make hate go away, I don’t. I understand that to ask you to leave your homes and protect Haven Academy is asking you to put your lives at risk.”

“I’ll stand with you!” said Ilia “If… if you’d have me.” “Ghira… This is like a mayor running the town.” thought Adam Atlantis.  Ghira explained, “There is strength in forgiveness.” “Looks like we’ve got work to do.” said Adam. “But what can we do.” said Paul Gekko. “The S.S. Atlantis is at Haven Academy.” “I think I know a ship captain who owes us a favor.” said Blake.
