How to be a God

Chapter 6

Chapter 6

Aug 20, 2022

Maya looked ahead of herself and not at the two dead bodies she killed, not just it was some excellent badass move or anything like no; if she looked down, she would throw up. If someone were to look at her, they would see her hand shaking. His dad teaches her how to use a gun, how to shoot, and how you only pull the sharer to hurt or, if need be, kill.

'Dad always told me the gun was made to kill, not the toy. I never thought I would have to really ha this gun and kill someone. How the fuck does that cheater who never killed before keep their damn cool! Keep it together, remember there are still enemies, so keep focuses frack out later.' Maya told herself as she kept her staidly and ran foreword.

"What are you waiting for? Get her!" He ordered as he glared at her as she came forward.

As more came, knights came forward to take her down; those of them thought they would give a better chance of their house as they came but stopped and fell dead as, on closer look, they were cut down.

"What!?"

"Don't even think about it," Akito spoke, coming be hide one of the knights before cutting him down.

'What? Where did he come from? I didn't even see him.' The captain watches in shock and horror as the two cut down his man with a unique sword skull and the woman with a strange weapon that fires out and quickly takes the man down. See that all his knights that were left trying to run for their lives but only maybe two got away as the captain attempted to rile up his man but they not listening and ran away he saw that the girl was coming at him so thinking fast grab the first enslaved person in arms reach. This couldn't happen; who were these monsters?

"Stay back, or I'll kill her!" he yelled, holding a sword at her neck.

Maya stood there from a distance, gun raised all she needed to get the right, but she knew surely that she would not back down without a fight.

"Okay." She says it looked like she was lowering her weapon like she was sundering.

Thinking that he won and slightly lowered his sword, but that was a mistake as it gave her just the right angle to shoot him in his solder once he was far enough away from the woman, she gave two shots in the chats. It was over the rest of the knights that were life long gone or dead Maya looked around to find Akito finishing off the lest knights and Anahita still hiding in the tree, too scared to come out, which is probably a good thing. Believe it or not, Anahita could be the strongest person standing up for her friends, but gore makes her faint regarding blood or anything. Once everything cooled down made a magical skeleton key to unlock the cages and chain cause she did go to go through the dead bodies to find the keys for them. As she walked to the smallest cells and was about to open when a shout.

"DON'T OPEN THAT ONE!" They called out a panic.

"Huh." Was all she gave as she opened it she looked inside saw red eyes staring back at her then it jumped right at her.

Maya falls back words to avoid sharp clews cutting her face off, getting up quickly and seeing that it jumps ahead as it is ready for a fight. She saw that what attacked her was something like a werewolf; he had no clothes; all he had was a caller that looked like those shock callers but in a magic hind of way. He also had to arm braes the had seemed to have broken it he growling freshly like feral animal which in this cause was not that shocking. But as all her forces were on the wolf, she didn't know another one was hiding her.

"Maya, lookout." Akito cried out as he ran to help her, but he was too far away to make it to her in time.

Maya turned in time to be face to face with a tiger; thinking fast, she used her arm to should herself as he used his claws through her arm as he was going for another attack until Akito stepped in with a sword sweep which he dodged and back away.

"Hey, are you alright?" Akito asked, getting in between her and the two beast-man and keeping his eyes on them.

"I'm fine." She replied calmly, hiding her arm behind her clack, turning to the beast-man. "Hey, look, I get it; you don't trust us, I get, so let's compromise here," She spoke, stepping beside Akito.

"Compromise with a human-like I'll trust the word of a human," The wolf spat at the thought of that.

"How about a witch?" She inquired.

"You a witch?" That seemed to relax them a bit but not complicity.

"Yeah, I can take that collar off, and you can be on your way," She says as she pulls out the key she used to free themselves.

"There is no way. These are bonded collars; it's not something you could take off by any key and lock picking it." The tiger spoke with a growl, not trusting her for a minute. "And I know that he doesn't have it cause they don't let anyone keep those around in cause it won't get stole while transporting,"

"Trust me, this key could unlock anything," Maya says, reassuring them of their worries.

"Yeah, and have you kill us. If anything that isn't the key could be death," The wolf baker out, baring his fangs.

'It would seem that once they caption being with power or strong they one parity goes up ahead will the other follow behind this could be a problem. How would we explain that it works? How can we get them to trust us? We need to be careful in what we say to them, or this could get worse before it could get better,' Akito thought, gripping his sword tightly in his hand as he chose his next move carefully, but Maya bests it to him.

"Okay, then we're leaving," Maya says, simply pocketing the key and turning away from them and the people standing there watching the whole thing.

"Huh!?" In unison, the beast-man and Akito are in shock at her actions.

"Now listen up, everyone who wants warm food and clean clothes, help me round up the houses and take down the cage off these for those who need to rest!" Maya raised her voice so that everyone could see and hear.

They all looked at each other, muttering amuse another if they should go or not but see that it was a short talk, seeing as they did what they were told.

"What that you just going to up and leave," The wolf growled in anger at being ignored like that.

"Your free to come as well, but you start some shit well have words," She replied, turning to them and giving them a smirk.

"Why should we? So you can trap us,"

"Look, come or don't; it's your choice. I can talk tell the sundown, but three people are hurt, tired, and hungry just like you, but I can't help those who don't want or need my help." She says with a series of expressions, then turn to the cage where the two best jump out and speak to the ones still inside.

"That goes for you. Would you like to come with us?"

There was some shuffling and movement could see a small elf child peck out her white mess hair as her bright green eyes pecked out, eyes wondering to Maya.

"Will it be safe?" Child inquired, looking her in the eye to find any lie in her.

"As safe as it can be." She promises to her, giving her a sofa small.

That's all it took as she jumped down and ran up to her, making the beast worry when the child reached her vast leg.

"Please don't hurt them." She pleated for the fighting to stop.

"Lynda gets away from them; we can't trust them." The wolf ordered but did not move, worrying about making the wrong move that would hurt the child.

"But they're telling the truth I can tell." She hugged her closer.

They were unsure, sometimes looking at each other and then agreeing to go with them, not warning them if it was a trick that would end them. Maya thanked the elf child for going with them. It seemed that things were cooling down then Akito walked to check on her.

"Maya, are you okay." Akito inquired as he moved to check her arm, but she pushed it away quickly.

"Latter, we need to move." She says as she moves to make sure everyone is ready to go.

Is everyone ready to go and head through the frost? What everyone didn't see as Maya led the way under her cloak dripping down was this simmering gold, then something grows to form it, a rainbow flower petal.
