The woman laughed sinisterly as she slowly walked toward mother and son. James began to have visions once again of Harland’s murder, but he finally saw the killer’s face; the killer was Delianna. He then looked up to the woman’s face which was still covered with the hood and became angry.
“DELIANNA!!” James yelled out to the woman.
The woman stopped walking and slowly took off her hood; it was Delianna with a sadistic smile on her face and her crimson eyes glowing.
“How nice to see you again, my dear James.” She said while smiling at James.
“Why… Why did you do this?!” He asked angrily.
She giggled enjoying the anger in his voice.
“Again, it’s nice to have people that love you, right? Family? Friends? I wish I had the same as you. Your parents are so loving; even the priest was like a parent to you and those nuns! Why? … Why couldn’t I have what you had?!” She exclaimed angrily.
James began to grow angrier.
“You… You killed Harland. You killed him because… he was a friend of mine… and Nyris? Your mind is still on that?! Just because I had people to fall back on and you didn’t?! You decide to kill them in order to prove a point?! Punishing me because of I had family?!” He exclaimed.
Delianna didn’t respond and had a calm look on her face. James let go of Elsa who was able to sit up by herself. He stood up with his hands balled up into fists.
“And you… decided to target me?! I loved you! After everything I’ve done for you when we were together! I even asked if you wanted to meet them, but you decide to do THIS to me! You used me! You… manipulative HARLOT!!”
Enraged, James began to run full sprint to attack Delianna. He went to throw a hook to her face, but she dodged his fist and kicked him in the stomach; making him fall to the floor; holding his stomach in agonizing pain and trying to gasp for air. Seeing he was incapacitated, Delianna slowly walked toward Elsa who was trying to move away from her. Elsa looked Delianna in the eye with a serious look.
“I foresee your future, Delianna Remi…” Elsa stated making Delianna stop walking. “Karma comes to you twice severely. You will have a fitting and well-deserved end for a blood driven vampire such as yourself…” She said to Delianna confidently.
Delianna smirked at Elsa’s remark and decided to get on top of her. Delianna ripped Elsa’s necklace, and sank her fangs into Elsa’s neck, drinking her dry in a matter of minutes. James saw the whole scene; making him scream out in anguish and making Delianna turn to him with blood on her face.
“Mother… Father… Everyone… I’m so sorry…” James said to himself.
Still in pain and not paying attention, James felt Delianna’s hand grab his shirt and drag him out of the cathedral. He wondered where Delianna was taking him, but his stomach was in so much pain, he couldn’t stop holding on to it wishing for the pain to end.

Minutes later, Delianna threw James to the ground into and alleyway. James saw it was an alleyway, but he couldn’t predict what about to happen to him. Delianna got on top of him, pulling his face close to hers. Delianna’s sadistic smile showing her fangs.
“Oh, James. I must say I’ve missed us getting this close.” She commented. “Remember when I said I wanted to get close again with you?”
James didn’t say a word to her which annoyed Delianna.
“Hmph! You don’t want to talk anymore? Fine. I know how to make you talk.” She stated.
With one of her hands, she pulled his pants down exposing himself. James tried to push her away, but Delianna held his hands together. Not wearing anything underneath her, Delianna positioned herself and pushed James inside of her. James struggled to get his hands free; even trying to shake her off, but to no avail due to her strength.
“Stop… Delianna! Get off me! STOP DELIANNA!!” He yelled.
With Delianna’s free hand, she slapped James and choked him as she continued to assault him. She lowered her head to his ear.
“I really don’t want to kill you. But if you keep causing problems, I will. And I will continue to do this and drink you dry; you will be nothing but dust. Do you understand?” She asked in strict tone.
James reluctantly nodded. Delianna lets go of his throat making him cough and gasp for air as she continued. James had tears flowing from his eyes as he wished for this to end; wished for his life to end. He wanted Delianna to kill him since she killed everyone he loved. But the other side of him wanted to live and avenge his family. He wanted to kill Delianna. He remembered the words he said to her the day they split apart, she proved him right. Coming back to reality, he felt the need of release and stifled his groans as it overwhelmed him. He heard Delianna chuckle as she pulled him out and sat on his lap.
“Once again, James, you’re good.” She commented.
James ignored her and looked her in the eye. It wiped the smile from her face.
“Remember what I told you on the day we separated? That your trauma doesn’t make you?” He asked. “Do you feel proud of yourself? Do you feel proud of what you’ve done to me? You’ve repeated the cycle. You made your trauma turn you into a monster. The one who had hurt herself… and her loved one.”
Delianna’s eyes began to glow in anger.
“So, finish what you started. Go on and kill me.” He said with no life in his voice.
Delianna’s anger disappeared and her smile returned. She slowly looked down at James with her glowing crimson eyes, putting her hand over his mouth.
“Consider yourself lucky that I didn’t bite you when we first met. I really felt something with you. So, for that, I’ll give you something to remember me by.” She stated.
Instantly by impulse, she sank her teeth in James’s neck, injecting her venom. As James started groaning, Delianna got off him and ran off into the night leaving him in the alleyway. The groans turned to screams as James felt the venom burn through his system as he twisted and turned in agony through his transformation. His irises turned from brown to crimson red. As the minutes passed, the burning pain ceased with James still on the ground, silent as the night itself. He replayed everything that happened from Harland to his family, and to him. He didn’t feel broken, but numb. He didn’t feel fear, but anger. As it started to rain, he stayed on the ground as the rain began to shower him.
