There's a new student at Peregrine High School. Aster sits next to Oliver on the second day of school, and from there, they form a pretty solid friendship. Aster says he just moved to Hemlock from Cedarsburg, but over time, the details about his life just don't seem to add up. He's obviously hiding something, and his new family and friends are trying to put the pieces together, but unbeknownst to them, they have a time limit.
