Dear Diary, 

Today is Monday, three days after the pep rally and I was still dazed from the sight of Ashton on that bike. I had to work during the weekend so I couldn't tell my friends about my new crush in person and I was basically itching to tell them, I ran towards my friends and before we could exchange greetings I started gushing over Ashton and how she was so cool and manly, all 7 of them just stared as I ranted thinking I was overreacting yet again and probably thought I'll just hook up with Ashton then forget about her but I knew I had to have her and I wanted her to need me too.

Present Day( Continuing from the last chapter)

"Um, hi. Are you okay ?"

What accent was that? I stare up at the person, completely transfixed by their eyes, they were the lightest shade of brown I had ever seen, and they seemed to fit perfectly with the explosion of freckles on the person's face, that's when I looked down and noticed they were still gripping my waist and Woah, their hands nice and muscular but not to buff just right, they also had a bunch of freckles splattered across her arms and visible veins popping out. I felt like reaching out to

"RIONA!!"

I release the grip I had on the stranger from when I pulled them closer and notice my friend Katsumi glaring at me as she waved her hand in my face probably trying to get my attention, I pushed the stranger away from me and shook my head as if stepping out of trance.

"Rio you've been staring at Mai since that you didn't even acknowledge me and we haven't seen each other in a month and what's this I hear about you going to the principal on our first day?"

"Sumi I'll always acknowledge you, I was just in a rush you know Needleman hates me"

I rush over to them and wrap their small frame in a hug whilst bending to kiss their cheek, I noticed they had a hickey on their neck and made a mental note to ask about it later. I spun Sumi around and rushed to get to the principal's office, completely disregarding the other person without even saying thank you, all I could think about was that she was really hot and I could feel my nose heating up from the thoughts of her hands around me but I pushed it to the back of my mind in disgust.

I entered the principal's office and collapsed on the chair in exhaustion before looking around and noticing that the old hag was not even in her office so I left a sticky note saying I left and walked out of her office. I step into the hallway and look around for any of my friends and that's when I notice her, Ashton Wellington, and her on/off girlfriend Pearl, the bitch looks like a freaking squash and she thinks she's so funny but she's just so loud. I feel my blood boiling at the thought of having to pass them, as they near closer I mutter loud enough for them to hear.

"I didn't know our school started allowing fucking dykes in, guess they're taking pity on freaks now instead of just putting them in psych wards"

I purposefully bumped into them, causing that thing, Pearl to drop her books. Both of them were older and a year above me but they knew better than to say anything, Ashton just huffed at me and looked like she wanted to punch me in the face but I just walked away.

"The bitch strikes again, do you ever get tired of being homophobic, or has all that weed finally messed up your brain so much that you forgot that you hooked up with nearly all the girls in the former senior year?"

"Santiago, lovely to see you as always. Are you still sucking your sister's boyfriend's dick or have you found a new boy toy to spank you when you misbehave?"

I was referring to the tall boy beside him who looked ready to kill me. Santiago was a 5"7 Mexican boy with a fiery attitude and hated when people harassed others just because they were different, I mean he's brown and gay. that's enough controversy of his own. He's a year above me as well and we used to be very close but after the fallout, we grew apart because he didn't agree with the way I was coping, I still loved him deep down but in reality, now we were more like strangers who disliked each other.

"Riona this is Grant and he's new, unlike you I don't spread my legs for any sexy thing that moves. It's time for the first period and I'm meant to show him the ropes so please take your negativity to your own class and stop harassing people or go and get high behind the school like the loser you are."

With that he grabbed Grant and stormed away, the dude was indeed sex on legs, and from the color of his hair I'd guess he was Scottish but that was just an assumption. Unlike Santiago who had brown curly hair that rested on his shoulders and sea green eyes, Grant had red hair wavy hair that was tied back in a bun and his eyes were so brown they looked almost as bright as the girl that steadied me earlier. He had tattoos on his arms and black studs similar to the pair I had but I wasn't staring at him, I was just intrigued.

Some time had passed and I was on my way to my third period, I had indeed skipped the first two periods to go get high. I had business and I was excited about it, I got to class and sat by the window close to the back of the class and started replying to my friends who were asking where I was when I felt someone occupy the chair beside me.

"Hi, I'm Beitidh Dubh but you can just call me Betty, I just came to school right now and I'm new so I'm a bit confused, please can you help me"

"Um, I'm Riona Black and  you can sit with my friends and me during lunch then I can show you to your classes after I guess. Are you from Scottland, you have a thick accent?"

The girl beamed at me and nodded her head, I was wondering why we had 3 new Scots at our school all on the same day but before I could ask, she handed me her phone to put in my number and that's when I noticed she had a chainsaw man phone case.

"You read manga ?"

"Um yes, and I watch anime, read manhwa and webtoons"

"Betty, I think we're going to be amazing friends."
