Dreaming

Sound Is everywhere. The honking of car horns. The sirens of police cars. The screams of happiness. Cries of fear, But all I heard was silence.  Nothing was seen for miles and miles. All of a sudden A dull light appears along with a ringing sound. The light and sound got closer and louder until suddenly I woke up with my head on my desk in science class and the school bell was ringing. Hazel's eyes greet me. It was my friend Kyle sitting right next to me as I was waking up.

“Exer, you slept through Ms.Noxs’ notes.” He told me.

“What?” I replied in a drowsy voice, rubbing my eyes open.

“You two better get out of here before the lunch line gets long.” Ms.Nox suggested.

Kyle and I stood up quickly and got out of science. We got to the lunchroom and saw a teal top bun hairdo with shaved sides and short, light pink hair, our friends Avery and Mio. The lunch aides finally made something worth eating. Chicken salad! Kyle, Mio, Avery, and I found a table near the doors outside.

“So what did I miss in science again?” I asked, plopping my tray onto the table.

“Did you really fall asleep in science class, again Exer?” Avery asked me

“Only the notes for the most important test of our science grade!” He yelled at me, clearly annoyed.

“Exer, you really need to stop sleeping in important classes,” Mio says

“Ok, I’m sorry,” I told them while taking a bite of food. “And can I borrow your notes to copy during the last period though?” I asked Mio.

“Sorry munch, but she is lending her notes to me,” Avery told me, wrapping her arm around my neck and messing up my hair.

“Ok, ok. Don’t get your bun in a bunch, blueberry.” I told her, shoving her away and laughing.

We all looked at Kyle because he is the only other one that had his notes finished.

 He looked around and sighed. “But why?” “Because you love me!” I teased him.

Mio and Avery exchanged looks and started giggling.

“Fine.” he sighed, looking away from the girls. 

“Yes! Thank you.” I said. 

“But you owe me something later.” He replied with a big grin on his face. 

“Ok dork.” I laughed as we all went to our last classes of the day.

We got to break and we finally got to relax. A long day and now relaxing. I laid back and closed my eyes. Suddenly I heard footsteps and a slam of papers on my desk. I opened my eyes and I looked up with Kyle's smug look on his face.

“Here are the notes and remember, you still owe me something,” he said in a sly flirty voice.

“Ok, Mr. Hotshot, what do you want, a kiss?” I teased him, lifting my glasses up like a know-it-all.

“Umm, not what I meant just take the stupid notes.” He said all flustered.

He started blushing and covered his face and walked back over to his seat by Mio. Avery and I laughed and Kyle walked away. Avery gave me her “Is something going on between you two?” look. I shoved her face and started blushing as she laughed mischievously. Time passed and the bell rang. All the kids rushed out of the school for spring break. 

“See you guys next week!” Avery yelled. 

Mio waved bye and Avery wrapped her arm around Mios's shoulder

“Have fun you two!” I yelled back at Avery.

“Same to you,” Mio yelled back trying to get her payback.
