Zielle was feeling a little uncomfortable, even though she couldn’t see she could still feel the gazes of the people around her. Anneliese had brought her to tea shop as promise and to Zielle’s surprise the owner was none other than her sister Anneliese.

After Anneliese helped her sit, she heard footsteps and plates being put in the table “Her name is Faelynn but we call her Zielle, and yes, she’s my lost sister…isn’t she pretty?” She cut a piece of the cake and fed it to Zielle “She’s blind so extra care is require, I trust that you will take her life as important as mine is and that all of you are friendly with her” Her voice hinted that it was warning

Everyone nodded  while still looking at Zielle, for them she was quite the unusual existence “Zielle, the people around us are the people I trust the most, it’s only five people who consist of my nanny Elara, my exclusive maid Elaine and my three most talented knights, Noah, Benedict and Calix”

Zielle nodded “Nice to meet you all” She said shyly

Anneliese smiled after seeing their reaction. Everyone gathered thought of Zielle as a cute and adorable lady that needed to be protected at all costs except for Calix.

“Noah, I will be assigning you as her knight so I trust you’ll do a great job” Anneliese put the fork down and stared at the young boy that was tying his hair

“Why me? Wouldn’t it be better for Benedict or Calix to be her knight?” He finished tying his light orange hair “Your grace think about it! You are trusting your sister’s life to a guy like me? Remember where you found me!”

Anneliese stood up “I never make a choice without having its consequences in mind… besides you are perfect to be her knight…believe me” She placed her hand in Zielle’s hand “I know you will do a good job…anyways why don’t you both get to know each other? I have a meeting right now, see you later Elle” She turned around after giving Zielle a quick hug and left, along with the other people

Now it was only Zielle and Noah. Zielle was feeling bad, he must be upset to have to take care of a burden like her, and so after building the courage she needed she tapped the table with her fingers

“Hey…Hey you don’t have to stay here…You…You can go” Zielle waited nervously

He chuckled and leaned his jaw on his hand “It’s fine, we are stuck together now no matter what”

“Sorry” Zielle could feel his gaze on her “Noah right?”

He nodded but then he remembered his mistake “What an idiot” he whispered “Yes, that’s my name”

“Nice to meet you” She smiled awkwardly

“Nice to meet you too” He mumbled, he stared at her and she squirmed clearly uncomfortable

She nodded slowly without nothing else to say. Noah sat up and sighed, now he understood why Anneliese put him as her knight, it was to help him with his problem. He shook his head and stood up, he walked towards Zielle

He lifted his hand “Hold it” Zielle raised her hand and upon feeling the sleeve she grabbed it

“Don’t let go okay” He led her upstairs slowly

The tea shop consisted of two floors, the first floor served as a tea shop and the second one was filled with rooms and balconies, and there was also a hidden basement where the base of the guild was. Noah stared at the stairs, and then at Zielle

“Zielle there are stairs, so I will carry you”

“Okay” She raised her arms

Noah took a deep breath and with trembling arms he carried her bridal style and rushed up the stairs. Zielle tightened her grip on his shoulders and started laughing. Once up, he put her down and stared at her, he was shaking all over but she looked so happy

“That was fun!” She said with a wide smile “My heart is beating so fast”

He took another deep breath to calm himself, he then took off his coat and placed it on her shoulders, and he then lifted the sleeve of his shirt for her to take

“Hold it again”

Zielle held the sleeve again and they started walking. The cold breeze and the night insects told Zielle that they were outside but she still decided to question

“Are we outside?” Zielle held the edges of the coat with one hand

“We could say that” He lifted the sleeve so when she let go she could feel the railing “Let go and grab that cold thing underneath”

“Alright” Zielle let go and her hands naturally fell to the railing, she held them upon feeling them

He took a deep breath and let the air out “Zielle I want you to do as I just did, then remain quiet”

Zielle nodded and took a deep breath, shortly after she let the air out. She loosened her grip on the railing, and remained motionless. The only sounds that could be heard were the night insects and some voices here and there. The breeze gently moved their hair and Zielle could find comfort in that moment.

“Feeling better?” Noah turned to look at her

“Yes… thank you Noah” She smiled

Anneliese had waken Zielle early because the dresses, shoes and jewelry had arrived. Anneliese wasn’t the only one excited but also Elaine and Elara, they keep talking about the quality and how beautiful everything was.

“Your grace I think we should dress her in this pink dress today” Elaine said approaching Zielle

“Yes, and we should use this jewelry, it matches the dress so well” Elara’s voice sounded quite distant meaning she was far away from Zielle

“Yes, that’s perfect and let’s do two ponytails for the hairstyle” Anneliese caressed her cheek

Zielle while she was smiling outside, inside she was screaming. After some time, they had dressed Zielle in the pink dress with butterfly sleeves, the pink shoes with butterfly designs matched the dress well.

“Zielle you look beautiful!” Elaine said opening the box where the jewelry set came

“Uh…can I use the necklace my sister gave me? Oh! And also the bracelet that Papa Garret gave me…please?”

“Of course!” Anneliese intervene “Elle, should we make the pin Ambrose gave you, into a ring or something?”

Zielle extended her hands in panic “No!”

Elara and Elaine smiled while Anneliese gritted her teeth “As you wish” She gave the pin to Zielle

Everyone could see how much it bothered Anneliese the fact that her sister was so close to a man, and it bothered her more since it was none other than Ambrose. She sighed and hugged Zielle

“Elle, there is somewhere we need to go today…We will go after you have your breakfast and my meeting is over” She squeezed her before letting go “Noah will come for you, I’ll be back”

Elara finished doing the ponytails, and Elaine helped her put her shoes on.

“Wait for Noah here, and then meet me in the kitchen” Elara said giving a gentle squeeze to Zielle’s shoulder

The door opened and closed, indicating she left. Elaine seeing her opportunity she bit her lip before speaking

“Lady Faelynn, if you don’t mind me asking…do you like his majesty Ambrose?” Elaine paused and looked up at Zielle

“Yes…well...” Zielle tilted her head “Um…he makes me happy and also he’s very warm especially at night, and that makes me happy too…he also makes the most delicious sandwiches ever” She nodded

Elaine dropped the shoe she was holding due to the shock. She swept her hair back with both hands and cleared her throat “Lady Faelynn…you have…have you…slept with his majesty?”

“Yes every night” She smiled “He hugs me to sleep too, I like feeling his warm chest against my cheek”

Elaine dropped to the floor trembling “He’s…He’s so…dead” She whispered She got up slowly and gripped Zielle’s shoulders “Lady Faelynn if you want his majesty to live a long life, never when I say never is never, tell her grace Anneliese about this understood?!”

Zielle was confused but nodded “Understood”

There was a knock on the door which scared Elaine but after the door opened and Noah entered with his light orange hair down it helped Elaine calm down.

“Why you look so scared? Are you okay?” He approached the vanity table and searched for something to tie his hair with

“Nothing…nothing” She smiled which only made Noah feel uncomfortable

“Sure” He grabbed one of the pink ribbons left by Elara and used it to tie his hair

“Have you ever thought of cutting your hair? What about cutting it to your shoulders?”

Noah shook his head “I like it this long, besides it makes me look cool” He looked down at Zielle and grabbed her hand and placed it in his arm “Time for breakfast”
