If we had the tantalizing ability to turn back time,

to restart our days,

to reboot to the very beginning

when our minds were nothing more than strings of code

floating in ember-filled skies,

we would simply halt.

Frozen.

.....Unmoving. 

As if solidified in an amber prison,

the open circuit of life ceases.

For the regretful reunite the regretted,

and all will continue back over.

And over.

And over. 

While internal clocks tick,

tick,

tick.

And "futile" ideas cower away from a belligerent world.

So take this as a sign to move.

Break free.

Allow the sweet softness of fluidity to overtake your mind

and caress others. 

Rest, and take care.

As a new sun creaks open the rusty gates of the horizon,

the tang of liberation fresh on our tongues, 

we gaze longingly at endless new,

patiently waiting with open arms.
