" I don't know, maybe go to the beach and then we have our guys to hang out with. So I don't know. Oh! That gives me an idea, maybe we call the guys and they come to the beach with us."

    " Okay I'll call Jace and ask if he will come with us to the beach at 10." I fish for the phone in my pocket. As I'm saying this. I dial Jace’s number and I hear it ring. 

  Then I heard Jace’s voice,"Hey Rylee." 

      " Hey Jace, me and Mallory are going to the beach at 10. Would you want to come with us?" I say this in a flirty way to make me sound like I want him right now. 

     "Sure i'll meet you at the beach 10 which is in an hour did you know that". He says this in a know it all way to make it sound like I made a mistake in time. 

   "Of course I knew that Jace anyways gotta go bye”. I hang up on him and walk up the stairs. 

      I go into Mallorys room and see her standing in front of her full length mirror. In her hand she holds two, two piece swimsuits. One is navy green and has a knot at the middle of the chest part. The next one is a sea blue. It has ruffles and has slips at the side of the hips. “So which one should I wear?”

   “ Uh. I think green seems more of your color”. I say. “ So what will I be wearing? Oh that reminds me I have to tell my mom that i'm going to spend the day with you”.

     “Oh you are going to wear this' '. She passes over a rose pink swimsuit with white polka dots and to straps and a knot at the bottle of the chest part. "try it on and tell me how it fits”.  

    I walk to the bathroom to try the swimsuit on. While I'm walking to the bathroom? I take out my phone and dial my mom's number. Right away she answers. “Hey honey, how was the sleepover?”

    “ Good mom, oh hey mom mallory invited me to spend the day with her. Is that okay.”

       “ Yes as long as you keep me posted on what you do.”

  “ K bye mom, love you.” I hung up on her and opened the bathroom. I close the door and start changing.

  After I finish changing and put my clothes over my swimsuit I say “oh it fits good”.

       “ Good”. I can see mallorys green straps over her shoulders. She must have already changed. 

    I walk out of the rooms and go down stairs. I got to the closet by the door and grabbed a pink and green tote bag. I see a bottle of spf 40 and two pairs of sunglasses as well as an old polaroid camera.

   I put it on my arm and ran to the downstairs bathroom next to Meg's room. I open a cabinet and in it are towels. I grab one blue and a pink one. I put them in the back and yell “ Mal it's 10:30 we got to go”. 

   Her voice is muffled when she says “ okay I’ll be down in just a sec”. That's when I'm panicking. I run to a drawer and grab two granola bars and two cheez its, then some water.  Finally I grab a plastic bag. I put the things in the bag and yelled one more time.

   “ Let's go, let's go.”

        “Fine.” She stops down the stairs and walks over to me by the door. She puts her flip flops on and pulls the door. We walk out to the car to have fun at the beach.
