We arrived at the beach and I could see Malloy’s grey car. I stepped out and ran to see Mallory on a towel. “ I thought you were gone for good.” Mallory said in her sweet voice. I could see tears stanning her face or it was water. She looked like she was crying then she grabbed her knees. 

  “ What's wrong?” I say trying to be sympathetic. I patted Mallory on her back.

       “ Me and max had a fight after you left and he said we were over I said I never even knew we were going steady then he called a uber and left.'' She then started sobbing like a child that had to move away from her best friend. I grabbed her shoulder and hugged her. I could feel her hot tears on my shoulders. “ I… I thought he was the one. The one that was for me.”

   “ It's okay, it's okay. I'm here for you”. I separate her elbows length and brush her tears off her face. I feel like a mother who is helping her daughter get over a break up.

   “ Are you two okay?” says Jace's handsome voice. 

         “ Yep, just trying to get over a break up because of your stupid friend”. I say with anger in my voice.

   “ I warned you that Max has fallen in love but none of the ladies were good for him,” he said. He had anger in his voice.

   “ Fine, then I think we arent perfect for each other either”. I say.

            “Fine,” he said. 

   I grabbed mallorys hand and threw her towel in the bag. I ran to Mallory's car and she got in. I got in. She started the car and we drove non stop till we got to her house. 

  “ I hate Jace”. I say

      “ Like 2 hours ago you were in love with him,” Mallory said with a snicker.

             “Oh shut up, look an hour ago you were in love and then you were crying and now you're happy and laughing”. She rolled her eyes. 

   “ Hey, do you want to stay the night?” she said.

       “Sure, but can you order chinese, ice cream, and coffee”. I say.

   “ Of course we both should have some since we both had bad breakups.” she said.

      “ Now what should we watch tonight?”
