"We can't do that much... We'll have to wait until the Night's over."
"Aww come on we have to fight back!"
"We know too little." He replied.
"Your barn is full of Monster corpses and weapons and you're saying we can't do anything?"
"When I killed those Monsters I was in a bigger group."
"Okay. So you're saying all of them died, but you didn't?"
"Okay, I know this sounds suspicious. But you have to-"
"HEEEELPP!" The sound came from outside.
"SOMEBODY! PLEASE! HELP ME!"
I rushed to the door, opening it, suddenly the man's hand grabbed my wrist.
"Ow!" I screamed. "Let me go."
"You can't go outside! It's too dangerous."
"You're the danger here. I shouldn't have trusted you."
He let go of my hand.
I ran outside. There was a man, maybe in his mid-twenties, limbing towards me.
"Come here quickly. " I shouted.
"Thank you... So... much.." He was breathing heavily.
"Watch out!" The cabin-man screamed.
Suddenly a long arm with a big claw-like hand grabbed the limbing man's leg from behind. He screamed in terror. I tried to hold onto him, but the other arm was too strong. He got dragged into the woods.
"No no no no no no. What was that." I cried
"That's not important. Get inside, more Monsters are coming."
He rushed us back into the cabin, closing the door behind him.
"Okay, now you have to listen to me. The Monsters now know exactly where we are. These thin walls will not save us." I listened carefully. "I'll fight back, while you're hiding in the floor."
"In the floor?" I was confused
"Yes! Now quickly." He quickly kneeled down and removed the planks from the floor under the bed.
"Now get in there."
I climbed under the bed, in the floor. The man put the planks back into place, hiding me.
Not long after I heard a roar and a blade being sharpened. The man opened the door, went outside, and closed it. After that, I couldn't hear much.
Suddenly, after a while, I heard a scream. It was the man's scream.
I started crying. I didn't know what to do.
.
.
.
When I opened my eyes again, I was confused. But the memories came flooding back. I started crying again. How long have I been lying here?
I told myself to get a grip and squeezed myself out of my hiding spot.
It was light outside. The Night was already over.
I was mad. Mad at myself, mad at that man. But most importantly, mad at those monsters.
I spend the whole day trying out weapons and filing plans against a monster's attack.
When Night fell I was prepared for everything. But I hadn't decided on one thing yet.
Should I ...
1. Go outside in the Night and try to fight back
2. Stay in the cabin and either watch the monsters, to see their behavior or wait for them to attack first.
Hey! I'm the creator of these stories. I'm just starting, so please let me know if there is some stuff I could change, in my writing, that would make it sound better. :)
"Not too scary scary stories" are little scary stories, which aren't too scary, as the title suggests. After every episode, I (the author) give you two or more choices, that you can choose from and you can write in the comments how the story should go on. But be quick, you only have a few days until I evaluate your comments.
