Throne of Avalok, will of the Primal ruler. Born out of the very essence that is responsible for most of the things created in this world. He who reigned over this realm for a very long time living through millenniums. Maintaining order and peace among all living and non-living things, from the creation of everything you, I and everyone sees, and now Avalok is in need of a new ruler.
A title which alone is capable enough to render all powers in this cosmos to become useless. Since the disappearance of the primal ruler, Avalok has been empty and with no ruler, Celestial beings are doing whatever they want. Such as those annoying beings, what humans call gods.
“Annoying one?” I responded, feeling a little uneasy about the way he was using his words. Despite the fact that he himself is a god. It seemed strange to bring up other gods in this way they always seemed to act as a divine and dignified existence but I guess not all the gods try to maintain such looks in front of humans. Arunam, God of the Three elements from the things I learned when I was living in the Verten family before my mother received the blessing, He is the overseer of balance between life, space and time though he cannot overcome the boundaries of these 3 elements by himself. He is more like the rope needed to build a wooden bridge, where the wood represents the power of life, space and time. He is considered one of the strongest gods who have visited earth throughout history. Perhaps he is just that strong to refer to other gods in any manner he desires.
It is not heard of Arunam answering someone’s call to be his human inheritor and bless them with divine gifts like the other gods, it’s more common for him to be in shadows maintaining the balance, putting a limiter on the power a god can summon on earth. “So Lord Arunam, what brings you here?” I asked. Failing to find a proper way to address him.
“Lord? If anything I should start calling you lord, well not right now but eventually that time will come” the god responded while turning and taking a step back just to continue again, he swings his hand as a flow of tiny particles shining as every one of them held immense power followed surrounded with dense layer of aura. With a flash of light a magical ball which was floating in air appeared and it started to reshape itself in a dark black screen. “I think it is best to give you a detailed explanation, since you seem to know nothing” the god in black said while conjuring a stick and tapping it on the screen to get my attention.
Though it felt like I was attending a science class with a new substitute teacher who doesn’t really know what he is doing but I listened to what the god in front of me had to say. He started explaining…
“Expecting you know how these Regns make a contract and hand out powers in form of blessing to some humans…” I cut in. “Excuse me… but what is Regns? I asked as I was not familiar with this new term.
With a slight bend in his eyebrow and an obvious look that he did not expect me to ask that, he answered “Regns is a term we use to refer individuals who are not a part of Avalok’s seat of deities. There are a total of 6 seats in the deity hall these 6 are responsible for a major amount of powers that flows in this world, and any other celestial being who uses just an extension of these powers are named as Regns, in short the gods that you see on earth, it is quite surprising that you do not know this. Considering you are The First, and responsible for starting the summoning”.
As I was trying to digest the information that he just provided, I started pointing out what he said in my head. He referred to me as the first, is it related to the marking of the emblem and what does he mean by starting the summoning? While trying to figure out answers to these questions. I said the god in black “You mean when I spoke the lines from the back of that emblem? But that emblem isn’t mine.”
“That emblem doesn’t have an owner until it finds someone worthy to read the chants on it and by doing so you become the owner” he continued.
“And as you were chosen by the emblem of ekam, you are now one of the heirs to the throne of Avalok. It is quite surprising for the emblem of ekam to choose its master this late. All other emblems have already chosen their master, and you being the last one commence the summoning.” He finished.
Hearing about all this, there were still quite a lot of things I wasn’t sure about and needed clarity. There was never any kind of mention related to Avalok or this type of hierarchy between gods even when I lived within the Verten family and studied their knowledge about the history of celestial beings. A god appeared in front of me saying I am chosen as an heir to inherit some immense powers. I could only see this opportunity to get stronger and find out about what was behind Ady nearly dying, as I was busy in my thoughts.
“It’s alright to continue whatever you are thinking about but the summoning has started and we need to leave now…”
As I cautiously stepped into the mist summoned by Arunam, I found myself transported to a realm entirely unfamiliar to me. The surroundings were adorned with opulence, where everything seemed to be crafted from the finest gold and other precious materials. It was as if I had entered a realm of pure luxury, a golden palace suspended in the depths of an empty void.
Standing on a floating platform, I glanced around and realised that there were five more platforms, each identical to ours. On every platform, two figures stood before me. One, like myself, was cloaked in a mysterious cape that concealed their face and body, shrouding them in an air of mystery. The others stood boldly, radiating a luminous golden aura, unmistakably divine. It dawned on me that they too were gods, just like Arunam, who had guided me here.
As the anticipation grew thick in the air, a brilliant beam of light pierced through the celestial expanse, illuminating a majestic golden throne positioned in the center of all the platforms. It was a sight that demanded reverence and commanded attention.
In that moment, Arunam's commanding voice echoed through the space, resonating with a weight that seemed to penetrate my very core. "With all the chosen candidates and their guides assembled here, the long-awaited ceremony shall commence," he declared, his words carrying an aura of immense significance.
The gravity of his proclamation settled upon me like a heavy cloak. The words hung in the air, creating a sense of both trepidation and determination within me. I realised that this was no ordinary gathering. It was a trial, a test of strength, resilience, and divine favour. Only the one who emerged victorious, standing tall amidst the trials and challenges that lay ahead, would be deemed worthy to inherit the immense power of the Mighty throne of Avalok.
As the weight of Arunam's words sank deep into my being, I steeled myself for what lay ahead. The path to becoming the heir of the throne of Avalok would not be easy. It would require unwavering courage, unwavering resolve, and an unyielding spirit.
With determination coursing through my veins, I focused on the gleaming throne, the symbol of ultimate power and responsibility. I knew that this ceremony marked the beginning of a journey that would test not only my physical strength but also the depths of my character and the strength of my convictions.
