Character description:

Corbin is a easy going, go with the flow, kind of guy. However, he has a hidden competitiveness inside of him that comes out with a smile whenever he is challenged. As one of the few close quarters mages, with a low amount of magic power, Corbin usually wears light armor to help protect himself against enemy attacks, though it is not as fancy as this one until later on. This style is the basic structure of the uniform close quarters mages usually wear.

Though, uniform or not, Corbin has excellent command over his body and movements, but despite his clear physical skill, he is given the path, "null mage", and is thrown into a city of magics and equations. Given his ironic situation, you would expect that he dispairs. However, he goes through all his hardships with a zen like control, a self-confident air, and a goofy grin. He is the glue to the team he is in, as his easygoing nature makes it a simple thing to connect with him. However, this is only when he starts to peel away his carefully controlled facade, as not everyone is on his good side. Despite this, he is a prized student to the professors who instruct him.

In the Conservatoire de Guiles, several professors study and theorize that Corbin's skill is a hint of his life before becoming a remnant, though theories are only theories because they don't have proof, and they are more than ready to send Corbin off on his path.

Character design:

Null mage: I gave this Path to Corbin as his main skill which makes full use of his limited magic capacity and other skills. You will see this displayed in the upcoming short story, "Zero Order".

We were inspired, mainly by the close ranged supernatural fighters such as Raiden from Mortal Kombat. However, he we also knew that he was a mage as well, so we mixed in aspects of a robe into a piece of armor giving birth to his layered light armor. Also, we didn't forget the helmet, as he holds it in his left arm. Safety first!
